A MAN high on drugs sliced off his body parts during a terrifying psychotic episode.
The 31-year-old lumberjack had schizophrenia and had stopped taking his antipsychotic medicines just days before the self-inflicted attack.

In January 2024, the man cut off both of his ears, his penis and inflicted deep wounds on his neck and chest. He also nearly severed his entire left arm.
He later told doctors he felt completely "overwhelmed" and acted on a "sudden urge" to hurt himself during what was diagnosed as a drug-triggered episode.
The unnamed man had taken large quantities of kratom, a herbal supplement with opioid-like effects and had also been smoking cannabis.
Kratom, which has been linked to dozens of deaths, is legal in some countries, banned in others, and completely unregulated in many.
The man had been brewing kratom leaves into tea for five years, believing it helped his sleep and mood.
Doctors said the combination of drug use, mental illness, and suddenly stopping his medication triggered a psychotic state in which he acted under powerful delusions.
Despite his severe injuries, the man still managed to call the emergency services to come and help him.
When he finally arrived at the A&E, he was awake but confused and weak, doctors from various hospitals in Czechia, wrote in a report about his case.
He showed no signs of distress about what had happened and was unable to recall some of the details of the horror that had just happened.
Toxicology tests confirmed mitragynine, the active compound in kratom, and cannabis, but no other substances.

The man had stopped taking his schizophrenia medication, quetiapine, just two days before.
Surgeons managed to save his life but could not reattach the amputated organs.
He later underwent skin graft surgery to cover the penile stump.
Doctors warned the case highlights the serious dangers of kratom, especially for people with mental health conditions.
'This case raises awareness of the serious adverse effects of kratom, especially in patients with a history of mental illness,' they wrote in the Frontiers in Psychiatry.
Kratom is also under growing international scrutiny from health bodies.
The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) warns it can cause liver damage, seizures and addiction.
And a US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) report found 91 deaths linked to the substance between 2016 and 2017, though most of those involved other drugs as well.
Although this case report did not specifically focus on the effects of cannabis, studies have linked cannabis use to worse outcomes for mental illness, including schizophrenia.
The man was stabilised in hospital and discharged a week later, with no remaining psychotic symptoms, the report concluded.

Instead the mum used her contactless card to pay at the exit barrier as she left. After she tapped, a message told her she needed to enter her pin - a step not normally needed for purchases of £100 or under. However, bank security protocols do require customers enter their numeric passcode from time-to-time even for transactions under that amount. Regardless, Yaditi was in a rush and failed to spot that she was being charged a colossal £4,586 for her brief stay. "I was in a rush, the girls were getting tired, and I did not see the number on the small card machine," she told the BBC. She saw the display said '4,5' and mistakenly believed the fee was going to be £4.50. Instead, she was horrified after receiving a text notification from her bank showing the size of the charge. "To my shock, I saw that they had deducted not £4.50 but £4,586 from my account," she said. "It was surreal - I just couldn't fathom that they had taken that money." The accidental charge was repaid shortly after an intervention by the BBC's consumer rights programme The JVS Show, hosted by Jonathan Vernon-Smith on Three Counties Radio. Yaditi received her full refund on Saturday June 7 - a whole 22 days after the money was first taken. Real state company Savills, who manage the shopping centre, called it an "isolated incident" and said it was investigating to avoid other customers being inconvenienced by similar problems in the future. Yaditi is currently in the midst of a divorce and claims the money that was taken by the car park was cash she had set aside to cover legal fees. She also considered calling off her daughter's birthday party over the stress. A spokesperson for Savills said: "As the appointed managing agent at Queensmere Observatory Shopping Centre, Savills can confirm that it is aware of an isolated incident concerning an anomaly parking charge at the scheme. THE daughter of a former England cricketer would not have died if doctors and paramedics had acted faster, a coroner ruled today. She collapsed at home on February 8, 2020. Paramedics were called but delays and a lack of urgency meant she was not treated quickly enough. By the time she was finally seen in hospital, Bethan was gravely ill and died within hours. Crohn's is a lifelong condition whereby parts of the digestive system become inflamed. 'Caring' and 'beautiful' Her mother Jane James told the hearing she felt medics repeatedly missed opportunities to treat her daughter. Delivering a narrative conclusion, Ms Morgan said Bethan had visited hospital multiple times between January 27 and February 6 - but was sent home again and again. Who gets sepsis and what causes it? Sepsis can affect anyone. The condition occurs when the body's immune system has an overeaction to an infection. As a result, the body attacks itself. Some people are more likely to get an infection that could lead to sepsis, however. This includes babies under the age of one, people over 75 years old, people with diabetes or a weak immune system (either due to treatment, a condition or genetically), people who have recently had surgery or given birth. Any infection can lead to sepsis. But those more likely to are those of: Lungs, such as pneumonia. Kidney, bladder and other parts of the urinary system Digestive system Bloodstream Catheter sites Wounds or burns She added: "Bethan was reluctant to return [to] hospital due to her lack of confidence arising from earlier attendances. "When she collapsed at home, her mother called 999. A rapid responder was sent - but wrongly classed the case as non-urgent. Ms Morgan said: "The rapid responder identified Bethan was in need of admission to hospital and requested a back up ambulance at a non-urgent grade of P3, [but] Bethan's condition warranted an emergency response." "There was no pre-alert issued to hospital to make them aware of the seriousness of her condition." "Bethan was transferred to the UHW majors area of the department when she should [have been] admitted directly to resus." "There was an extended transfer between ambulance and hospital and a delay in recognising Bethan's critical condition once she was admitted." "This delayed the escalation of her treatment and the input of specialty doctors into her care." "Bethan sadly went into cardiac arrest and died." The coroner offered her condolences to Steve and Jane James, who sat through every day of the inquest.

Jazwell Brown repeatedly stabbed 38-year-old Jo Pearson 31 times at home in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, in an unprovoked attack. He also stabbed his partner's dog Tilly multiple times before battering Jo to death with a baseball bat. Brown then turned his attention to neighbour Teohna Grant, 24, after bursting into her home. When her boyfriend Bradley Latter desperately tried to help her, he was also stabbed during the horror on December 25 last year. Brown then left Teohna with five fatal sharp force injuries - including a deep wound to the neck - before he fled the gruesome scene in his car. The double killer made a string of chilling remarks to police, telling officers: "Not self-defence, murder. It's plain murder." He also described his chilling actions as him going "bloody loony". The monster has now been jailed for life after pleading guilty to two counts of murder and attempted murder. Brown also admitted possession of a knife blade or sharp pointed article in a public place and causing unnecessary suffering to a protected animal, a Staffordshire bull terrier. The court heard he has 10 previous convictions for 15 separate offences - including attacking a former partner for which he was convicted in 2009. Prosecutor Deanna Heer KC told the court: "The evidence suggests that the assaults were wholly unprovoked, committed by the defendant whilst he was under the influence of cocaine." The horror unfolded at around 6.30pm on Christmas Day inside in a flat in the Bletchley area of Milton Keynes. Brown and Jo had been in an "unhealthy" relationship for several years, with both taking Class A drugs and the pair regularly heard arguing by neighbours. Jake had visited the flat on Christmas Day when Brown became "suspicious", the court heard. Ms Heer said: "The defendant then picked up a screwdriver and a kitchen knife from the table in the living room and approached Pearson, who asked him what he was doing and tried to walk away. "Without saying a word, he began to stab her with the knife repeatedly in a frenzied attack. "Jake Brown tried to pull his father away from her, only for the defendant to turn to him and stab him in the chest." The teen, who described his dad as completely expressionless" as he attacked them, then hid in the bathroom to call police. He later described the scene like "watching a horror film" as Brown burst into the bathroom and hit him with the bat. The killer then went into the communal landing to the flat next door, where Teohna and her partner were sitting in the living room enjoying a quiet Christmas day. Brown stabbed both victims multiple times with a "blank" face, Ms Heer said. Teohna was seen by a neighbour on the balcony of her flat clutching her throat and screaming: "Help! I can't breathe". Police discovered Brown's DNA on a baseball bat in the kitchen and knife recovered from his car. Blood from some of the victims was also found on his trainers and clothing. Following his arrest, Brown said: "Oh Jesus, what happened tonight What happened tonight, boy? Pure f***ing madness. Pure madness. "I've gone f***ing crazy guys. Just gone crazy." In a victim impact statement read in court, Teohna's partner said: "We both thought of you as our neighbour and close friend for a number of years. "The impact your crimes have had on me are never-ending. My whole world and future was heinously taken away by you." While Jo's mum Susan Pearson said: "We can only imagine how horrific her final moments were at the hands of Jazwell Brown. "Our own wellbeing has also been seriously compromised. Our faith in humanity has been seriously rocked. We don't think we will ever understand." Lawyer Celia Mardon of the Crown Prosecution Service said: 'Our thoughts today are with Jo and Teohna's families and loved ones who have suffered such unimaginable loss. 'We worked closely with Thames Valley Police to build a case to secure justice for all of those affected by Jazwell Brown's inexplicable and violent actions. 'Compelling evidence in our case included the accounts of eyewitnesses which were supported by forensic evidence. "Given the overwhelming evidence against him, Brown admitted to his crimes, thankfully sparing the victims' families and friends the ordeal of a trial.
