LIAM Payne's sister has paid an emotional tribute to the late star by visiting the site of a One Direction video.
Ruth Gibbins made her way to heritage site Clevedon Pier where the group filmed the video for You & I in 2014.

A small plaque commemorates the recording while another remembers Liam, who died after falling from his hotel balcony in Argentina last October.
Ruth shared two pictures from the location in Somerset, alongside poignant lyrics from the song which read: "I figured it out, nothing can come between you and I."
Last month Ruth paid another tribute to her brother after watching his new Netflix show, Building The Band.
Liam's final TV project, which sees him working as a talent show judge, features a host of music stars including Kelly Rowland and AJ McLean of the Backstreet Boys.
It was filmed just months before Liam fatal fall and his family was given the final sign-off on how he appeared in the show.
Liam appears from episode seven, and the series will be released this Wednesday.
Ruth, 33, watched Building The Band ahead of its release, and took to Instagram to share how "proud" she is of her beloved brother.
She said: "I didn't know whether to share this but it felt weird when I've raved about Liam's work and achievements for the last 15 years.
"I'm heartbroken he never got to see how great he is in this show.
"He knew he had done a good job, we all told him this when we were at filming, but watching it back, wow!
Continuing the emotional message, Ruth said: "You're a star Liam, you always were and always will be.
Building the Band: First Look, Netflix
"There are a range of emotions I felt watching this, but one of the main ones is immeasurable pride, always.
"Miss you more every day."
LIAM'S LAST SHOW
In the trailer, Liam tells one act: 'You've got a lot of work to do vocally — I need to feel that connection between you guys.'
In another scene he is seen seemingly referring to his own One Direction past when he says: 'How these bands are put together is not normal — we were not put together that way.'
The show brings together 50 musicians who have to form six bands, without ever seeing each other in person.
They perform in individual booths and have to pick one another based on singing ability and compatibility alone.
It shares similarities to how Liam's band One Direction was formed on The X Factor in 2010.

The actor, 22, who is leaving the soap, spoke publicly for the first time about the 20-year-old — who is at the centre of an impending family legal fight over his welfare. 3 Brothers Bobby and Freddy with their dad Jeff Brazier Credit: Instagram/katebrazierpr 3 EastEnders star Bobby is set to leave the soap Credit: BBC He said: 'Freddy's very sensitive and wants to please. And when he grows up a little bit that will serve him well. 'There are things I don't like about him and there are things about me he doesn't like. Freddy will be OK, I don't know if he looks up to me, but I look up to him in many ways, but he's a good boy.' It comes after the Sun on Sunday revealed the brothers' TV host dad Jeff, 46, has a court date in his bid to stop Freddy seeing maternal gran Jackiey Budden, 68 — mother of late Big Brother star Jade Goody — amid concerns over his well-being. Freddy teamed up with his dad last month to present This Morning's competition segment from Malta. The pair previously competed in BBC One's Celebrity Race Across the World last year Meanwhile, Bobby is to leave EastEnders in September. He said: 'It's mixed feelings, it's been a wonderful three years and I've learned so much, so it feels like home. It's like a family there.' Last month, we revealed he had received a wave of work offers after being a runner-up on Strictly Come Dancing in 2023. It led to him winning Best Supporting Actor in a TV Series for his role in Paramount+ drama Curfew, at the National Film Awards in West London on July 3. Speaking to The Sun on Sunday, Bobby said he now has his sights on Hollywood. He said: 'I'd like be around people who've mastered what they do and absorb as much of that as I can. I'd love to work with Joaquin Phoenix, I think he's incredible. Even to watch him on set would be amazing.' Oasis plan huge £200k party after Wembley shows to celebrate success of first part of reunion tour with celebs pals

THERE may be a lack of cigarettes and alcohol on their tour rider. But that is not going to stop Noel and Liam Gallagher from throwing the ultimate bash in September to celebrate the completion of the first part of Oasis' reunion tour. 12 12 12 I have been told the band are planning to splash £200,000 on a huge party following their shows in London. The lads are set to kick off the first of their seven dates at Wembley Stadium this month. And following their final UK show in September, the band will be able to catch up with celebrity pals before heading to South Korea in October. A source told me: 'Liam and Noel are staying away from the booze and parties during the tour to protect their voices. 'They are looking forward to catching up with pals in September following the success of the tour. There will be no expense spared and guests with an invitation can expect to be given the VIP treatment.' On Friday, Oasis returned to Manchester for the first of five homecoming gigs. Man City fans Noel and Liam held hands as they came on stage at Heaton Park in front of 80,000 fans, then later paid tribute to the team's boss. Before performing D'You Know What I Mean?, Liam said: 'I'd like to dedicate this next tune to the greatest manager of all time, the one and only Pep Guardiola.' There was even a life-size cut-out of Pep in a Man City scarf on stage as the band performed. Before the gig, Pep posed with Liam's sons Gene and Lennon, Noel's daughter Anais and his teenage boys Donovan and Sonny. Pep Guardiola and stunning daughter Maria belt out Oasis classic as Man City boss parties with Gallagher family at gig Gene wrote: 'Pic of the century alright, now everyone else f*** off.' Pep's daughter Maria also posted a sweet vid with her arm around her dad, singing along to Don't Look Back In Anger as the sun set over Heaton Park. Elsewhere, celebrities including The 1975's Matty Healy, Radio 2 host Vernon Kay, and Happy Mondays singer Shaun Ryder, pictured with Corrie actor Andy Whyment, packed into the crowd in 30C heat. Fans unable to get their hands on tickets made the most of the night, singing along to Wonderwall and Little By Little on a hill outside the park. But those attempting to scale the fence to get in the stadium were stopped in their tracks. Footage on TikTok showed one fan climbing a ladder to get into the concert before being stopped by police. Greater Manchester Police confirmed six arrests were made, but the event passed without any serious incidents. While hogging the limelight with the huge shows, Oasis also have a monopoly on the Official Albums Chart. Their greatest hits compilation Time Flies . . . 1994-2009 is currently at No1, with albums What's The Story Morning Glory at No2 and Definitely Maybe at No4. Oasis summer is well and truly here to stay. BRANDS BATTLE LIAM and Noel are in a legal dispute with fashion chain Oasis. The rockers have applied to trademark the band's classic logo – with white writing and a black border – for a merch range including clothes, jewellery, toys and cards, computer games and cosmetics. But the application submitted to the Intellectual Property Office hit a snag, as the clothing company of the same name has officially opposed it. The brand, now owned by online retailer the Debenhams Group, has black writing and a white background. MAN City forward Jack Grealish had a good night watching the band. And he got emotional while talking about his love for the club afterwards. Stopping to chat to a fan in a Man City shirt, Jack, attending with partner Sasha Attwood, said: 'You know what? Bro, I love City more than anything. And do you know what I love more than anything? City fans. They're the best fans in the world.' His future at the club is still uncertain. Whatever happens Jack, don't look back in anger. LIAM'S ex-wife Patsy Kensit is recovering from a broken shoulder, after falling off a treadmill while training with a weighted backpack in the gym for Channel 4's Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins. IT'S ELO AND GOODBYE FROM JEFF JEFF LYNNE was devastated last night after being forced to cancel ELO's last-ever live show due to illness. Tonight's farewell performance in London has been called off. The rockers were due on the Great Oak stage at Hyde Park's BST – for their final date on The Over and Out Tour. Fans were told in a statement: 'Jeff Lynne is heartbroken to report he will not be able to perform. 'He has been battling a systemic infection and is currently in the care of a team of doctors, who have advised him that performing is simply not possible at this time, nor will he be able to reschedule. 'The legacy of the band and his long-time fans are foremost in Jeff's mind. 'And while he is so sorry that he cannot perform, he knows he must focus on his health and rehabilitation at this time.' It comes days after the band also cancelled their gig at Manchester's Co-Op Arena on Thursday. Last month Jeff, 77, had to perform with a broken hand and was not able to play his guitar during their first night in Birmingham. He told the audience: 'You might be wondering, I have had a guitar in my hand my entire life, but I was riding in a taxi in London that slammed on its brakes to avoid an accident and I broke my hand.' He added: 'Don't worry, but nothing could keep me away from you.' The band formed in 1970 and their hits include Mr Blue Sky, Don't Bring Me Down and Evil Woman. Ticket holders were urged to head to the BST website for details about refunds. RADIO 1 host Dean McCullough has revealed he would love to team up with new presenter GK Barry. YouTuber GK joined the station in the weekend afternoon slot this month. 12 12 Dean, who does the weekday early breakfast show and became pals with GK on I'm A Celebrity last year, told Biz on Sunday: 'I miss having a co-host on Radio 1. 'I would love to do it with GK – she is so brave. But I think they would have to pull us off air after just one show because of the s**t we talk about.' I would 100 per cent tune in for that. 'Tinie loved hearing the stories of entrepreneurs on the show and learned a lot from the experience.' In 2021, he invested in software company Gener8 after its founder appeared in front of the Dragons. Rita Ora says she still feels her 'great friend' Liam Payne's presence nine months after his tragic death as she reveals whether she'll watch his final TV appearance

Rita Ora has shared that she still feels Liam Payne 's presence nine months after his death, as she described him as a 'great friend'. The How We Do singer, 34, spoke candidly about the One Direction star in an interview on Elvis Duran and the Morning Show. Rita admitted she does still think about him from time to time, which keeps the memory alive, after he passed away in Argentina towards the end of last year. She is currently in New York after headlining an exclusive concert on Friday to mark the start of Wimbledon 's weekend-long US takeover for the fourth year running. The star has been getting around the Big Apple on the subway, pictured making her way to Brooklyn over the weekend. During her time in the states, she appeared on the radio show, where she was asked if she will watch an upcoming reality series that features the late singer. The singer tragically passed away in Argentina towards the end of last year (pictured) and his friend Rita says she still thinks about him from time to time Host Elvis asked whether she will watch Building the Band, a new show and Liam's final project - which wrapped filming shortly before he passed away. The first four episodes aired on Netflix earlier this week, with three more episodes due to drop on July 16. Rita responded: 'I 100% will watch it. That's a really great friend of mine. I still sort of feel him anyway, so it's fine.' She continued: 'I have the last song that I think we did together as a duo and I sing it all the time. And it just feels like he's just right there. And we always do a cute little moment of a photo of him and it feels fantastic to just feel like he's still around through music. 'That's why music is so powerful. It really does bring back a person, a memory, a feeling. 'So yeah, I have this incredible memory with him, with For You, our song together, and I'll always have that.' Liam died aged 31 on October 16, 2024, after falling from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and was found to have alcohol and cocaine in his system. Just a month after Liam's death, Rita hosted the MTV EMAs and paid a special tribute to her friend. Pop powerhouse Rita brought the energy to The Hill in New York on Friday night, headlining an exclusive concert In fun snaps she shared on Instagram, Rita playfully rummaged through her designer bag for some hand wipes, admitting in the comments she was reluctant to hold onto the subway's pole Fighting back tears, she emotionally said to the cameras: 'I just want to take a moment to remember someone that was very, very dear to us. 'We lost him recently, and he was a big part of the MTV world and my world, and I think a lot of yours at home and everybody in here tonight. Liam Payne was one of the kindest people that I knew. 'And, you know, there were so many ways that we were talking about honouring him, and I think sometimes just simply speaking is enough.' Rita showcased her toned midriff in a skimpy white top as she travelled on the subway while exploring Brooklyn earlier this week.
