Emmerdale fans beg for Dawn Fletcher to exit ITV show
Alongside that, she is the special guardian of Lucas' half-sister, Clemmie Reed.
She has been involved in some big storylines, including recently having an affair with Joe Tate, but viewers have seemingly grown tired of her.
A post was made on the r/Emmerdale Reddit page, with the caption: "OH MY GOD WRITE DAWN OUT PLEASE!!!!!"
The user added: "That's it really. Just that. Nothing more," with plenty of people agreeing with the sentiment.
Emmerdale fans criticise "unbearable" Dawn Fletcher
Plenty of Emmerdale viewers have found the character to be very unlikeable of late, and are keen for her to move on from the show.
One person said: "God, she is so unbearable. And her 'I'm just looking out for the kids' rubbish should be her new catchphrase from now on.
"Her logic makes 0 sense. If she really is looking out for the kids, like Billy said earlier, she'd leave Joe without a second thought.
"I actually wonder if we're meant to like Dawn or not at this point. I actually don't know anymore."
Another shared a similar view, commenting: "Billy was right to question whether or not she cares about her kids!
"Clemmie was terrified because of Joe, even to the point of calling social services to get away from him! but that doesn't stop Dawn lusting after him! Unbelievable!"
A third posted: "I skip EVERY SCENE WITH DAWN. Do not understand why she is on this show still....."
Some were making theories to understand the logic behind the character's actions.

One said: "At this point it's feel like the only "save" for her actions is if she really is covering for Clemmie and for some insane reason is lying to everyone about it. But even that, I think, falls flat at this point.
"The entire 'Joe got pushed plot' has been so poorly done I'm not sure what the writers are even thinking at this point."
Another shared: "She used to be on one my favourite characters but I can't stand her now! Just as shameless as her dad!"

Period drama hailed the 'best movie of the last 20 years' arrives on Prime Video
To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video A stirring World War II period drama has officially landed on Prime Video – and viewers are already flocking to revisit its emotional depth and historical impact. The Imitation Game (2014), starring Benedict Cumberbatch in one of his most acclaimed performances, is now streaming for subscribers. Based on the extraordinary true story of Alan Turing – the mathematician and cryptanalyst who helped crack Nazi Germany's Enigma code – the film blends historical gravitas with emotional intensity, making it a must-watch for fans of prestige cinema. Directed by Morten Tyldum and written by Graham Moore (who won the Oscar for Best Adapted Screenplay), the film also stars Keira Knightley, Matthew Goode, Rory Kinnear and Mark Strong. Upon release, The Imitation Game was nominated for eight Academy Awards, including Best Picture and Best Actor for Cumberbatch, and took home the Oscar for its script. Cumberbatch delivers a quietly devastating performance as Turing, a brilliant, socially awkward man whose groundbreaking contributions to modern computing were overshadowed by the tragic consequences of being prosecuted for homosexuality in 1950s Britain. The film balances the high-stakes drama of wartime codebreaking with intimate portrayals of isolation, injustice, and genius misunderstood. Viewers on social media continue to hail the film as a masterpiece, with one recent Letterboxd reviewer writing: 'WOW. Not sure why it's taken me 11 years to watch this film but an incredible story about an incredible man.' Another wrote: 'This movie is honestly one of my favorites. The soundtrack is beautiful, the cast is great, and the story is a devastating yet necessary one to tell.' Many viewers have noted the emotional impact of the film, with one posting: 'There are few movies I have sobbed this violently at…god it wrecked me.' One Reddit user said: 'Phenomenal. I don't hear it mentioned enough. I think it's the best movie of the last 20 years.' More Trending With a Rotten Tomatoes score of 90%, it isn't only beloved by viewers but also by critics. The film's arrival on Prime Video has reignited interest in both the real-life legacy of Turing – who received a posthumous royal pardon in 2013 – and the film's gripping portrayal of unsung heroism. Alongside its dramatic tension, The Imitation Game offers a thoughtful meditation on identity, secrecy and sacrifice, earning it a special place among the most powerful biopics of the last decade. Whether you're watching for the first time or returning for a rewatch, it's a poignant reminder of how one man's intellect and perseverance helped shorten the war – and changed the course of history. ‘So embarrassing' rant Love Island fans as they say couple ‘will split in days'
LOVE Island fans are convinced that it's just a matter of days before Lauren and Harrison call it quits after telling clue. The footballer, 22, was embroiled in a controversial love triangle with Lauren and Toni for most of his villa stay, breaking both their hearts along the way. 3 Love Island fans think Lauren and Harrison are set to split after telling clue Credit: Reddit 3 Harrison's still not gone official with Lauren - despite leaving the show for her Credit: Eroteme After Lauren was dumped, Harrison did some soul-searching and decided to leave to give things a go with her and quit the show. Shortly after Harrison reunited with Lauren and told her that he "wanted her to be his girlfriend" as they hugged in emotional scenes. On last night's finale, host Maya Jama quizzed the pair on whether they were finally boyfriend and girlfriend. Harrison admitted they were still dating but not official yet. When quizzed on their relationship status, Harrison told Maya: "Not yet, we're exclusive. I left the villa to be with Lauren. We are getting on really, really well. "We've both met each other's families. Going really, really well. "Not boyfriend and girlfriend yet but soon." Lauren then looked at Sophie and seemed unimpressed by Harrison's response. But viewers were left scratching their heads after Harrison vowed to make Lauren his girlfriend after - but now appeared to be "backtracking". One wrote: "I just went back and watched their little reunion. He straight up says 'And I want you to be my girlfriend'. I was under the impression the last two weeks that they were boyfriend and girlfriend. Now he's essentially backtracking and saying they're not even exclusive? Where do these two even stand?" A second posted: "Lmao this man is NOT going to commit to her. If he does it'll be out of pressure and it'll implode spectacularly shortly after. You absolutely do not meet someone you like enough to be in a relationship with only to run back to someone else then go back and forwards and act like a f*****g lunatic." Watch Love Island's Harrison roll his eyes and fake clap after ex Toni makes savage dig about him in live final A third commented: "Harrison says a lot of things, he then walks a lot of them back almost as soon as he's said them, we saw him do it for about six weeks on the show, he's not a serious person." "His reaction to Toni and Cach tonight was very telling. i don't think they'll last or even get to that point of being committed to Lauren," a fourth said. After leaving the villa, Harrison said his family would play a big part in whether he and Lauren progresses. Speaking on the Love Island: Morning After podcast, Harrison said: "I feel like we want to get to know each other a little bit more away from the villa. "Obviously the villa's a very secluded environment it's different on the outside so it's nice to get to know each other, go on a few dates without cameras and microphones." Looking cosy beside Lauren, he continued: "For me it was a big thing about her meeting my family before I made anything official. But I left the villa for Lauren and I do think a lot of her. I feel like we'll be boyfriend and girlfriend soon, no doubt." An extra spanner in the works is the fact Harrison is based in Miami, and he isn't sure if he wants to return to the UK permanently just yet.
