2025 Super Bowl Parlay: Our experts make the picks and prop bets to win the weekend

Fox Sports07-02-2025

The Super Bowl is here.
The Chiefs are taking on the Eagles in the big game, which also means there are several ways in which you can wager and make some extra cash this weekend.
But what are the best bets to make? What are the experts saying?
And is there a way where you can turn a couple of these picks into a reasonable parlay?
Well, we've got you covered, as our FOX Sports betting analysts have laid out their favorite bets for the Super Bowl, creating a five-leg parlay that could win big.
The parlay below currently has odds of +4781 or just about 48/1. That means a $20 wager could churn you a healthy profit of $956.12, and a $10 bet could earn you $477.96.
So what did the experts have to say? Here's our Super Bowl parlay: Bear: Saquon Barkley's first rush under 4.5 yards (-130 at DraftKings)
Barkley's 60-yard TD run on the Eagles first play from scrimmage vs. Washington is fresh on everyone's mind, so I think there will be a good bit of recency bias from those who bet this prop, and a majority of the bets will be on the Over.
Yes, he also had a 16 yard gain on his first carry against Green Bay, but I'd expect the Chiefs to load up against the run and force Jalen Hurts to beat them. Barkley has been boom or bust in the postseason, with a single carry or two accounting for a healthy chunk of his yardage total. Geoff: Travis Kelce over 6.5 receptions (+118 at DraftKings)
This number is one more than usual, but that doesn't scare me away.
As I wrote before the Texans divisional-round playoff game, the best opportunity to wager on Kelce in the postseason is games after a bye. This would qualify, with the Chiefs having a week off before Super Bowl week began.
Kelce has been in this position nine times since 2020, and he's been targeted at least six times with six catches in all nine of those games. He's also coming off a game with only two catches against the Bills man coverage scheme, a game in which his age was showing.
After not getting a single target in last week's AFC title game, do we really think Gray will suddenly get a bunch of looks from Patrick Mahomes in the Super Bowl?! I could certainly see a 8-yard touchdown catch on a broken play or something like that, but I'll be surprised if Mahomes goes to the Gray well multiple times. This is Travis Kelce's time to shine and Mahomes tends to look for familiarity on this stage. Some sportsbooks in Las Vegas are as low as O/U 11.5 yards on Gray, so please get the best number. Every yard matters in this racket. Jason: Chiefs over 2.5 field goals (+256 at at FanDuel)
You have to go all the way back to the Chiefs-Eagles Super Bowl in February 2023 to find the last time Harrison Butker missed a field goal in the playoffs. He's 15-for-15 in the last two years. The Eagles' red zone defense is formidable; it was ranked fifth this season. And Butker's range is excellent. Will: Chiefs ML (-116 at FanDuel)
The spread has been around either 1 or 1.5 for most of the time, since the moments right after the Chiefs beat the Bills in the AFC Championship Game. It's pretty much split at the time that I'm writing this at either 1 or 1.5, and some people might think the spread won't matter when it's that low — and they're probably right.
However, keep in mind that in the playoffs, both teams get the ball at least once if the game goes to overtime. And if the team who starts with the ball scores a touchdown, the other team will very likely go for two if they're able to match it with a touchdown of their own, in order to avoid the sudden death format that would follow. That is a long-winded way of saying this game ending with a 1-point margin is perhaps more likely than some might think.
Anyway, I'm going with the Chiefs. My reasoning won't win any awards for creativity or originality, but that doesn't mean it's wrong. And it's because I just can't go against Patrick Mahomes .
And furthermore, in what's expected to be a close game, I'd rather have Mahomes and coach Andy Reid as opposed to Hurts and Nick Sirianni.

‘Feeling rejuvenated': Davante Adams fitting in well with Rams

Davante Adams lined up on the right side, ran a short slant pattern to the middle of the field, and then caught a pass from Matthew Stafford and sprinted up the middle toward the end zone. A few players later, Adams crossed the field left to right and then extended his 6-foot-1 frame while leaping high to grab a pass over the middle for another significant gain. It's only organized team activities, conducted without pads, but Adams demonstrated on Tuesday that he has quickly immersed himself in the Rams' offense and culture since the three-time All-Pro receiver signed a free-agent contract in March. 'It's been exactly what I needed,' said Adams, a 12th-year pro. 'Feeling rejuvenated. … It feels like I've been on the team for a couple years just based on how open and receptive the guys have been to me.' Adams, 32, is expected to provide Stafford and coach Sean McVay another weapon for a team that will open the season among teams regarded as Super Bowl contenders. Adams played eight seasons with the Green Bay Packers before playing two-and-a-half seasons with the Las Vegas Raiders and half a season with the New York Jets. Adams said the Rams' 'college-type camaraderie' and the 'vibe and the aura' in and around Rams facility in Woodland Hills makes the game fun. 'Everybody's in a good mood,' he said. 'It's not like a dark cloud is over the building. And I've experienced that quite a bit over the last few years. 'So it's a glaring difference when you come into a building like this.' Adams has brightened the outlook for a team that was already confident after finishing with a 10-7 record and advancing to the NFC divisional round last season. After releasing longtime star receiver Cooper Kupp, the Rams added Adams to a receiver corps that includes young star Puka Nacua, Tutu Atwell and Jordan Whittington. Adams, who has played in the NFL with passers such as Aaron Rodgers, Derek Carr and Jimmy Garoppolo, sees the game 'through a quarterback lens,' McVay said. 'He's got so many experiences,' he said. Playing with Stafford will be a new one. Stafford and Adams were on opposite sides of the field for years when Stafford played for the Detroit Lions while Adams caught passes from Rodgers with the Packers. 'I've played against him a bunch, so I kind of know what he's about,' Stafford, 37, said at the start of organized team activities in May. 'Obviously, I've grown to have even more appreciation just being in the room with him and working with him. So, he's got a great career going and I'm just happy to be a part of it.' Adams and Stafford said they are constantly communicating before, immediately after and sometimes into the night after a series of plays. 'Those are the best relationships I've had with the receivers and the most success that I've had is guys that want to talk to you on what they felt, what they were doing,' Stafford said. 'I can also say, 'Hey, this is what it looks like from my angle,' and go from there. 'But he definitely has that feeling, he has that understanding and that's a huge positive.' Said Adams: 'He makes it easy for a guy like me. … As long as he's throwing the ball, I will figure out a way to get it.' Offensive coordinator Mike LaFleur said it was 'cool to watch,' Stafford and Adams, 'two vets north of 30' years old develop a connection on and off the field. 'Those two have got a lot of wisdom,' LaFleur said. 'They played a lot of good football, a lot of meaningful football, a lot of productive football. … I think it's been fun for both those guys.' Nacua and Atwell already have learned from Adams. 'From the moment he walked in,' Nacua said, 'he's been willing to offer information, to have new drills, to have a completely different mindset of somebody who's played in various offenses, very different schemes and stuff like that. 'So it's been exciting to hear from him.' Kupp is gone, but Adams has stepped in as a veteran mentor, Atwell said. 'Just pretty much pick his brain,' Atwell said, before adding with a chuckle, 'seeing what I can steal and take and put in my bag that I can use.' The Rams will conclude organized team activities this week and then travel to Maui for a minicamp. With McVay, Stafford and a young nucleus of talented players, Adams is eager for the upcoming season. 'Just knowing how hungry this team is,' he said, 'and seeing the work that they're still putting in after having a year like last year, it just kind of confirms that I'm in the right place.' McVay was asked about the Rams' interest in signing two-time Pro Bowl cornerback Jaire Alexander, who was released by the Packers. 'Nothing but respect for the player, but I don't know if that's a direction we would go,' McVay said. He said there was 'no news' regarding the Rams continued interest in possibly trading for Miami Dolphins cornerback Jalen Ramsey. … The Rams announced that they will celebrate former star defensive lineman Aaron Donald during their Nov. 23 game against Tampa Bay. The first 60,000 fans in attendance will receive a Donald bobblehead.

Full details of Aaron Rodgers' contract with Steelers revealed — including performance inventives

The details have emerged about Aaron Rodgers' contract with the Steelers, including the milestones that the 41-year-old quarterback has to hit in order to reach his performance-based incentives. Rodgers' contract is worth $13.65 million for the one year, with $10 million guaranteed, but his deal could reach as high as $19.5 million with the incentives. According to Sports Illustrated's Albert Breer, Rodgers would have to play 70 percent of the Steelers' regular-season snaps in order to be eligible for any of his incentives. Getty Images The future Hall of Famer would receive an extra $500,000 if the Steelers qualified for the postseason, Breer said. A wild-card round victory in which he played 50 percent of the game or his team earned a first-round bye would mean a $600,000 bump for Rodgers. Advertisement If Rodgers leads the Steelers to a divisional round win and he is on the field for at least half the snaps, he would earn $750,000 more. The incentives hit the millions when it comes to leading the Steelers to victory later in the playoffs, with a win in the AFC championship game in which he plays half percent of the game would trigger a $1 million contract incentive. A Super Bowl win would trigger a $1.5 million incentive. Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers (8) stretches during minicamp at their South Side facility. Philip G. Tuesday marked Rodgers' first day on the field with the Steelers after he signed his new deal with the team over the weekend, ending a long offseason saga over where the QB would end up playing — if at all – in 2025. Speaking with reporters after practice on Tuesday, he described the feeling as similar to 'the first day of school.' Advertisement 'I don't know a lot of guys' names,' Rodgers told reporters. 'They don't have names on the back of their jerseys yet. They don't have names on the meeting rooms. I literally walk out of the locker room lost. I have to grab somebody and say, 'Hey, where am I going?' 'But I'll get the feel of it. I'm excited about making this home.'

Rachaad White Says Tampa Bay Buccaneers Are 'Starving' in 2025

Rachaad White Says Tampa Bay Buccaneers Are 'Starving' in 2025 originally appeared on Athlon Sports. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are engaged in the initial stages of their mandatory minicamp, and easing into the offense of new coordinator Josh Grizzard while also working on a retooled Todd Bowles defense that boasts new stars on the roster with his unit. Advertisement On Tuesday, the team worked out and then players had a chance to speak with the media. A newly slimmed-down Rachaad White answered questions about his weight loss and the offense under Grizzard. When asked about the team's current state of hunger for meaningful wins and a Super Bowl, White's answer was telling. "I would say we're starving. ... I mean, look at us right now," White told JP Peterson of Fan Stream Sports - Tampa Bay. "We're hungry coming out of practice. We're very hungry. We're starving. We want it. We want it for each other. We want it for our vets, our older guys, looking where they are in their careers. The young guys want it for them and as a collective, we want it. White is certainly hungry as he enters the final year of his contract without an extension in place. After splitting carries with then-rookie Bucky Irving early last season, Irving eventually became the primary back. Advertisement But they both still complemented each other well. Irving posted 1,122 yards on 207 carries and eight touchdowns in his rookie campaign last season, while White was utilized mostly in the passing game. The 26-year-old registered 613 yards and three touchdowns on the ground, while catching 51 passes for 393 yards and six touchdowns through the air. Irving didn't catch his first TD of the year until the postseason game against the Washington Commanders. There is a place in Tampa Bay for White and Irving next season, and he's lost 10 pounds this offseason to make himself quicker out of the backfield. And so far, he looks good.
