Hayek made it to the album release party in NYC but did not walk in the Sports Illustrated Runway Show to close out Miami Swim Week on May 31. The other three cover models did, as well as models from the issue including Jena Sims, Alix Earle, Ellie Thumann and Penny Lane.

Tristan Rogers, ‘General Hospital' Star, Dies at 79

Tristan Rogers, a longtime star of ABC's daytime soap General Hospital, has died. He was 79. Rogers died early Friday after a battle with lung cancer, though he had never been a smoker. He played Robert Scorpio on General Hospital over several stints for some 45 years and also had a run on CBS' The Young and the Restless. More from The Hollywood Reporter Dan Ziskie, Actor on 'Treme' and 'House of Cards,' Dies at 80 Lorna Raver, Actress in 'Drag Me to Hell,' Dies at 81 Danielle Spencer, Sassy Young Star of 'What's Happening!!,' Dies at 60 'The entire General Hospital family is heartbroken to hear of Tristan Rogers' passing,' said executive producer Frank Valentini in a statement. 'Tristan has captivated our fans for 45 years, and Port Charles will not be the same without him (or Robert Scorpio). I would like to extend my deepest sympathies to his family and friends during this difficult time. Tristan was a one-of-a-kind talent and will be greatly missed. May he rest in peace.' A native of Melbourne, Australia, the blue-eyed Rogers appeared on several TV series in his home country early in his career. He joined General Hospital in 1980 as Scorpio, a colorful character who quickly became a fan favorite. In one of the character's most notable early storylines, Scorpio teamed with Luke and Laura (Anthony Geary and Genie Francis) to rescue the world from the Ice Princess weather machine in 1981. He was initially set to work for only two days on General Hospital, 'to beat up the hero — Luke — and then disappear,' he recalled in a 2022 interview. 'I then was called into [executive producer] Gloria Monty's office and told, 'We really like what you're doing, would you like to stay?'' Rogers remained on General Hospital through 1992, when Scorpio was killed — though his dead body was never seen onscreen — in an explosion in South America. He returned briefly three years later as Scorpio's spirit, who comforted his daughter Robin (Kimberly McCullough), though in subsequent returns the character was alive. Rogers reprised the role for several brief stints in the 2000s and 2010s, along with a role on the spinoff General Hospital: Night Shift, before rejoining the show in a recurring rule from 2019-24. His final appearances on General Hospital came in an unannounced guest appearance in July. Rogers also played the character of Colin Atkinson on The Young and the Restless from 2010-19, appearing in about 180 episodes of that CBS soap. His credits also included voice work on Batman Beyond and The Wild Thornberrys, along with roles on the web series The Bay and Studio City. He won a Daytime Emmy for his role on the latter and was nominated for his work on The Bay. Rogers is survived by his wife and two children. Mike Barnes contributed to this report. Jenna Ortega's Gothic-Glam Givenchy References an "Integral Part" of Her 'Wednesday' Season 2 Style Journey

But nothing awakens the 22-year-old's inner goth quite like Netflix's Wednesday. Season 2 of the Addams Family spinoff drops on August 6, meaning Ortega is back in method dressing mode. On the first day of Ortega's Wednesday press tour, Ortega channeled her character's all-black attire in fresh-off-the-runway Givenchy Fall 2025. She and stylist Enrique Melendez sourced Look 32 from Sarah Burton debut collection as Givenchy's creative director before anyone else. "Every other week since it showed in March, I asked team Givenchy if it had been worn in a non-editorial placement," Melendez told me over email. "Luckily, by the time our fitting for the Wednesday Season 2 press tour came along, it hadn't been worn." Complete with a leather balconette bra and matching gloves which stretched beyond her shoulders, "the look played an integral part in styling this tour," Melendez says. As seen on the catwalk, each puff sleeve was ultra-padded, giving them a balloon-like blow out. For extra shine, she layered chain link cuffs on her wrists, also from Burton's Givenchy. Just like the model, Ortega juxtaposed the voluminous bodice with a super-sleek pencil skirt, hemmed with raw wool edges. The midi stopped above her calves to reveal her sky-high platform pumps from Jimmy Choo. During the Fall 2025 show, the model kept the grunge theme going with patent leather ankle boots. By choosing Jimmy Choos, Ortega gave the avant-garde set a classic finish. On the Wednesday Season 1 press tour, Melendez dressed Ortega in one noir number after another, "but you can only do so much [black] with out being too predictable and monotonous," the stylist says. To maintain the shock factor this time around, he "played around with sub-categories, such as shape and fabrication of a look," as evidenced by this Givenchy get-up. In the five short months since Givenchy Fall 2025 premiered, everyone from Kaia Gerber and Anne Hathaway to Tracee Ellis Ross and Elle Fanning has gotten their hands on the unreleased designs. Hathaway, for one, secured nine Burton looks for her Vogue August 2025 feature. On the cover, The Devil Wears Prada 2 star turned heads in Look 41, a white, high-neck number covered in florals from head to toe. Most recently, on July 25, Fanning attended Comic Con in a cutout-heavy suit set from Givenchy Spring 2026, which will debut during Paris Fashion Week in October. Even her lime green pumps are from the upcoming collection. A round of applause for Fanning, and her stylist, Samantha McMillen. Just two years into Burton's takeover, Givenchy's new group of It girls is already star-studded, with Ortega leading the charge. This look might've earned her an invite to the Spring 2026 show in October, so stay tuned. Solve the daily Crossword

Jenna Ortega's Wide-Brimmed Hat and Sunglasses Are a Monday Mood

When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. I've never been more proud to be Gen Z. Between Olivia Rodrigo, Marsai Martin, and Jenna Ortega, fashion girls my age have solidified our generation as the one to watch on the style scene. At just 22 years old, Ortega's fashion prowess rivals that of red carpet veterans, showcased in spades on the Wednesday Season 2 press tour. Last week, Ortega (and her stylist, Enrique Melendez) hypnotized fans with gothic glamour from Ashi Studio, Givenchy, and Vivienne Westwood. The overall theme for week one? Haunting yet haute. Week two, however, is off to a tailored start. On August 4, Ortega arrived at Good Morning America in a structured skirt suit, complete with a shoulder-padded blazer and a calf-length pencil skirt. The oversize lapels and plunging neckline gave Morticia Addams energy, if she worked a corporate 9-5. The cherry on top of this Morticia-ish moment was a black fedora, which covered most of her sightline. It featured the flat, cylindrical crown of a top hat, while the elongated brim mimicked a sun hat's floppiness. Occasionally, Ortega's oval-shaped Dezi sunglasses peeked out from underneath the hat's low-hanging ledge. Perhaps this paid homage to Wednesday's signature fringe, which, similar to the hat, swoops below her eyebrows. At just 5'1", Ortega is always on board for sky-high stilettos. This morning, she debuted her highest heels yet for Wednesday Season 2: Christian Louboutin's Cassia Pumps. The $995 red bottoms originally debuted in the Spring 2025 collection, alongside fellow ballet-inspired silhouettes. Ortega's square-toe style mirrors traditional pointe shoes, minus the lace-up ribbons seen on other models. View Deal Ortega's bleached brows have been a focal point of her Wednesday tour, so she's opted out of hats until now. During the Season 1 circuit, though, the actor attended the Netflix hit's premiere wearing a sheer veil, adding even more allure to her lacy Versace gown. Looking back, Ortega's suit set is by far the easiest set to copy from herWednesday run—if you're cool with going full fall mode ahead of schedule.
