Yahoo26-05-2025

It's been a difficult start to the season for British Army Soldier and Bulford-based Superbike Racer Stephen 'Tommo' Thomas.
Competing within the Army Motorcycle Road Race Team, he started his attack on the 2025 Hel Performance British Supersport Cup championship on the weekend of May 17 – 18 at Donington Park aboard his brand new Triumph 765RS.
This is the main support class to the British Superbike main event featuring 2 free practice sessions, a qualifying, sprint race and feature race.
This event will come to our local circuit of Thruxton between August 8 – 10, 2025.
Setup issues during Friday Free Practice was subsequently followed by a crash at the start of the Saturday Sprint Race.

Despite huge efforts late into the eventing by the team, he was ruled out of any further competition that weekend due to bike damage. This was a missed opportunity for the Amesbury resident who had the pace to claim his first-ever Supersport Cup podium.
Tommo now has 4 weeks to regroup before the next event at Snetterton, Norfolk.
He would like to thank local companies JMF Heating & Plumbing, Signs in Motion & JP Autobodies for all their support, together with main supporters the Army Motorcycle Road Race Team & Black Onyx Concepts.
Being a privately funded sport, Tommo is searching for further partners to support racing activity in 2025.
If you'd like to know more about supporting Tommo and the related media and marketing opportunities, please contact him via Tommo21racing@gmail.com or visit www.tommo21racing.co.uk.
It's a long season with plenty more opportunities, good luck Tommo.

Abdullah Mason vs. Jeremia Nakathila live results, round-by-round updates, ring walks after Keyshawn Davis' weight miss

Abdullah Mason vs. Jeremia Nakathila headlines Saturday's event after Keyshawn Davis massively missed weight for his fight against Edwin De Los Santos. () Uncrowned has Abdullah Mason vs. Jeremia Nakathila live results, round-by-round updates, highlights, ring walks and start time for the Mason vs. Nakathila fight card on Saturday night at the Scope Arena in Norfolk, Virginia. Mason vs. Nakathila is the new main event after Keyshawn Davis vs. Edwin De Los Santos was canceled Friday evening. Davis was more than four pounds over the 135-pound lightweight championship limit at the official weigh-in and was thusly stripped of his WBO lightweight world title. Advertisement Davis' and De Los Santos' teams then attempted to negotiate a deal, which would've allowed the fight to take place. The teams discussed a rehydration clause and a six-figure financial penalty but ultimately could not reach an agreement, so the fight was called off at the eleventh hour. With Davis losing his title, the stakes have been raised for Mason's bout with Nakathila. Mason, the WBO's No. 2-ranked lightweight contender, will likely be ordered to face WBO No. 1 Sam Noakes for the vacant title later this year. However, Nakathila could snatch that position with an upset win. It is the third bout for Mason (18-0, 16 KOs), Uncrowned's runner-up for 2024 Prospect of the Year, in the first half of 2025. Mason, 21, stopped Manuel Jaimes in February and then retired Carlos Ornelas in his first regional title bout in April. Nakathila (26-4, 21 KOs) is on a three-fight win streak after back-to-back second-round knockout defeats at the hands of Raymond Muratalla and Ernesto "Tito" Mercado in 2023. Nakathila extended Shakur Stevenson the 12-round distance in their 2021 WBO interim super featherweight title bout. Advertisement In the night's co-feature, Kelvin Davis (15-0, 8 KOs), brother of Keyshawn, steps up to 10 rounds to face Nahir Albright (16-2, 7 KOs). Keyshawn defeated Albright by majority decision in October 2023, but the result was changed to a no-contest after Davis tested positive for marijuana. Now, Albright takes on a second Davis brother on Saturday. Mason vs. Nakathila begins at 6 p.m. ET on ESPN+, with the main card starting at 10 p.m. on ESPN and main event ring walks expected at 10:45 p.m. ET. Man City and Wolverhampton Wanderers reach full agreement for long-term Man United target Rayan Ait-Nouri

Long-term Manchester United defensive target Rayan Ait-Nouri is set to complete his move to cross-town rivals Manchester City, who have reached a full agreement with Wolverhampton Wanderers. Ait-Nouri has been linked to United at various points of his career but needless to say, a transfer never materialised. Advertisement After Ruben Amorim took over as head coach, there were suggestions that United might target Ait-Nouri, who is highly familiar with the demands of the wing-back role—a position he has consistently impressed in at Wolves. However, United's January signing of Patrick Dorgu from Lecce made a move for Ait-Nouri highly unlikely, especially with other positions taking priority in the club's plans to strengthen the squad. Still, rumours linking Ait-Nouri to United never completely faded. However, as the Red Devils hesitated, City stepped in and swiftly made the Algerian their top transfer target. Earlier on Saturday, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano revealed that Ait-Nouri successfully completed his medical tests. Advertisement Romano indicated that the next step was for the 24-year-old to put pen to paper on a five-year contract until 2030. Now, Ben Jacobs has reported that Wolves and City have agreed a deal worth an initial €37m fee plus a further €6m in add-ons for Ait-Nouri. Jacobs also confirms that the player has done his medical. City will be hoping to announce Ait-Nouri's signing before they jet off to the United States to take part in the FIFA Club World Cup later this month. For United, it will be a bitter pill to swallow that their long-term target has ended up joining one of their biggest rivals. Ait-Nouri played 135 times for Wolves across the last five seasons in the English top-flight. Last term, he scored four goals and provided seven assists in 37 league appearances. THREE Liverpool stars told they will be leaving

Liverpool are gearing up for a productive transfer window. They have already secured the signing of Dutch international Jeremie Frimpong - who joins from Bayer Leverkusen. Plans are in place for Milos Kerkez and Florian Wirtz too - with the Reds hoping to tie up those deals quickly. Adding just those three players will cost the club in the region of £200m - and that's before we consider a new centre-forward or midfielder. Advertisement It's clear that Liverpool need sales in order to finances a rebuild and Trent Alexander-Arnold and Caoimhin Kelleher have already left. But more outgoings will be required if a high-quality squad is to be assembled. There are plenty of players considered expendable - despite the club having just won the Premier League title. We could see Kostas Tsimikas, Joe Gomez, Jarell Quansah, Harvey Elliott, Federico Chiesa, Luis Diaz, Diogo Jota and Darwin Nunez all potentially leave. And fringe players aren't immune either. Bids could well be heard for Ben Doak - the 19-year-old Scotland international winger who was on loan at Middlesbrough last season. But Arne Slot might also opt to chop some of the other young talents he had in his first-team squad last season. Danns, Morton and McConnell to leave Liverpool have got a productive academy pipeline - and there are indications that they are ready to clear the decks. That move will make way for the next generation of first-team hopefuls as well as add cash to the club's transfer kitty. Advertisement And TBR Football's Graeme Bailey claims Jayden Danns, Tyler Morton and James McConnell will be leaving the club this summer. 'I know that Liverpool are ready to bring a batch through that can be like Arne's boys,' Bailey said. 'I've been told that they're expecting a new stream of youth talent as it were. 'The likes of Danns, Morton and McConnell are a few of them who are going to be moving on. 'So Liverpool are making room for a new batch of youngsters. I think Liverpool are excited about what's coming. 'I know there's a right-back at Liverpool who they really like.'
