While Samantha Ruth Prabhu has not reacted to Liver Doc's claims yet, it should be noted that this is not the first time that the latter has called out the actress openly.
Samantha Ruth Prabhu is facing criticism once again. Dr Cyriac Abby Philips, popularly known on social media as The Liver Doc, recently took to his Instagram handle and lashed out at the actress for allegedly promoting a supplement brand that claims to contain NMN (Nicotinamide Mononucleotide). Promoting the supplement, Samantha wrote that 'NAD+ declines with age, leading to lower energy, slower recovery, and reduced focus," and claimed that NMN can help reverse this.
However, The Liver Doc lashed out at Samantha and accused her of spreading misinformation. He called her a 'science illiterate" and slammed her for promoting 'fraud" supplements. 'How science illiterate movie celebrities defraud their millions of followers by selling supplements that do not work at all," he wrote.

Interestingly, Samantha Ruth Prabhu is the co-founder of this supplement brand. 'The results spoke for themselves. So I did not just keep taking it. I joined the mission. While Samantha has not reacted to Liver Doc's claims yet, it should be noted that this is not the first time that the latter has called out the actress openly. Last year too, the doctor called Samantha a 'fraud" and lashed out at the actress for recommending the use of hydrogen peroxide nebulisation.
