This marks the third era in which LFC has worn adidas' iconic three stripes—first between 1985 and 1996, and again from 2006 to 2012—each period delivering landmark moments, including three top-flight league titles and three FA Cup victories, all accompanied by memorable kits.
The latest kit collection blends adidas' advanced performance technology with a strong nod to LFC's heritage, offering a reimagined vision of what it means to wear the Liver bird.
Both jerseys will be available in short-sleeve and long-sleeve options, offering fans more variety than ever.
The new home shirt presents a clean all-red look, highlighted by crisp white adidas stripes along the sleeves and a modern crew-neck collar.
The away kit takes inspiration from classic LFC away designs, with an off-white base and striking black and red accents. The Liver bird emblem sits within a shield, echoing the shape of Anfield's Main Stand from 1906.
Ben Latty, chief commercial officer at LFC, said: "This is more than just the launch of a new kit – it marks the beginning of a 10-year relationship for LFC and adidas. Since announcing the partnership in March, there's been a huge sense of anticipation and excitement. This first collection sets the tone for seasons to come."
Sam Handy, GM at adidas Football, added: "The return of adidas to Liverpool FC is a momentous occasion for us.
Seeing our iconic three stripes adorning Liverpool FC kits again is something we're incredibly proud of.
"The home jersey is a true representation of the Liverpool DNA – classy and understated – while the away jersey pays homage to the club's rich history. I speak on behalf of everyone at adidas when I say this is just the start of an incredible journey and we're extremely excited for what's to come."
The men's team will debut the home kit during their pre-season double-header at Anfield against Athletic Club on Monday, while the new away kit will feature in the FA Community Shield clash with Crystal Palace on August 10.
Liverpool FC Women will wear the away kit in their pre-season fixture against Aston Villa on August 9, and the home kit the following weekend during their match against Durham at the AXA Melwood Training Centre.

He returned to red-ball cricket after a strong 18-wicket IPL campaign with Mumbai Indians, using the tournament to prepare himself post an injury layoff, having previously sustained a back fracture during his 32-wicket haul in the Border-Gavaskar series against Australia. In the final Test at The Oval, England won the toss and opted to bowl first. India were reduced to 153/6 before a 58-run partnership between Karun Nair (57 off 109 balls, 8 fours) and Washington Sundar (26 off 55 balls, 3 fours) added some stability. India were eventually bowled out for 224, with Gus Atkinson claiming a five-wicket haul and Josh Tongue contributing with 3/57. In reply, England were limited to 247 thanks to four-wicket hauls by Siraj (4/86) and Prasidh Krishna (4/62), despite a fiery 92-run opening stand between Zak Crawley (64 off 57, 14 fours) and Ben Duckett (43 off 38, 5 fours, 2 sixes), followed by a half-century from Harry Brook (53 off 64, 5 fours, 1 six). by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Mix 3 Kitchen Ingredients, Wake Up Thinner Every Morning Get Fit Today Click Here Undo England took a narrow 23-run lead. Sundar also played a crucial role in a last-wicket stand with Krishna, where he scored all the runs while Krishna held his end. IND vs ENG: Mohammed Siraj reflects on memorable win at The Oval India posted 396, setting England a daunting target of 374 runs. India made early inroads, reducing England to 106/3, but the game swung back with centuries from Harry Brook (111 off 98, 14 fours, 2 sixes) and Joe Root (105 off 152, 12 fours), who added 195 for the fourth wicket. At 317/4, England looked set to pull off a historic chase. However, a stunning late burst from Siraj (5/104) and Krishna (4/126) turned the tide as England were bowled out for 367 — falling just six runs short. Tim David fined for showing dissent during fifth T20I against West Indies
Tim David (AFP Photo) NEW DELHI: Australia batter Tim David has been fined 10% of his match fee for showing dissent during the fifth T20I against the West Indies in St. Kitts on July 28. The ICC confirmed that David violated Article 2.8 of its Code of Conduct, which pertains to 'showing dissent at an umpire's decision during an international match.' Go Beyond The Boundary with our YouTube channel. SUBSCRIBE NOW! The incident occurred in the fifth over of Australia's innings when a delivery from Alzarri Joseph down the leg side was not called a wide. David reacted by stretching out his arms in protest and walking toward the umpire with his arms still extended — an action deemed inappropriate under ICC regulations. Since this was his first offence within a 24-month period, David was handed one demerit point in addition to the fine. He admitted the offence and accepted the sanction proposed by match referee Reon King, avoiding the need for a formal hearing. The charge was brought by on-field umpires Zahid Bassarath and Leslie Reifer, with third umpire Deighton Buttler and fourth umpire Gregory Brathwaite also involved. Under ICC rules, Level 1 breaches can result in an official reprimand, a fine of up to 50% of the match fee, and one or two demerit points. Accumulating four or more demerit points within 24 months leads to suspension points, which can result in bans. Two suspension points equate to a ban from one Test or two limited-overs matches, depending on which format comes first. Demerit points remain on a player's record for two years. David's action was the only disciplinary incident reported during the match, and while the punishment was minor, it reinforces the importance of upholding the spirit and conduct expected in international cricket.
