Fulham announce the release of 13 players including Willian and Carlos Vinicius as captain Tom Cairney is offered a new deal

Daily Mail04-06-2025
Fulham have announced Willian and Carlos Vinicius will leave the club following the expiration of their contracts at the end of the month.
Willian, who rejoined the Cottagers earlier this year on a free, will end a third spell at Craven Cottage having made 79 appearances for them since his debut in 2022.
Striker Vinicius also bids farewell having been surplus to requirements in west London, with him being third choice behind Raul Jimenez and Rodrigo Muniz.
Captain Tom Cairney was linked with a free transfer to newly-promoted Sky Bet Championship club Wrexham.
However, he has been offered a new deal by the club alongside Kenny Tete, who manager Marco Silva is interested in keeping at right-back.
Youth players Luc De Fougerolles, Callum Osmand and Lemar Gordon have also been offered deals to extend their time at Fulham.
A Fulham statement read: 'the club can confirm that Willian and Carlos Vinicius will depart Fulham upon the expiry of their respective contracts at the end of this month.
'Tom Cairney and Kenny Tete have been offered new contracts, as have Luc De Fougerolles, Callum Osmand and Lemar Gordon.
'Willian departs after a third spell at Craven Cottage, bringing his total number of appearances for the Club to 79.
'Over the last three years, the experienced winger scored 10 times and laid on seven assists, playing a valuable role in helping Fulham record three consecutive mid-table finishes.
'His immaculate strike against Nottingham Forest in 2022/23 ended up winning Goal of the Season, while he also netted incredibly memorable goals against Leeds, Chelsea and Wolves.
'Carlos Vinicius arrived on deadline day at the beginning of our first season back in the Premier League.
'His first goal in black and white will forever be fondly remembered by fans, as his header clinched a 2-1 victory over Chelsea in January 2023 – our first victory over our neighbours in 17 years.
'Another key contribution followed the next season when he bagged the winner against Luton Town within minutes of coming off the bench, before he joined Galatasary on loan for the second half of the campaign.
'Vini – a lively presence around the Training Ground – departs with 11 goal involvements (8G, 3A) in 52 Fulham appearances.
'We would like to thank all the players leaving us this summer for their efforts during their time at the Club, and wish them all the very best of luck in their next chapters.'

Pandora charms could be about to get more expensive. Here's why

Pandora reported a 9 per cent decline in its UK sales, attributing the downturn to price increases implemented due to soaring silver and gold costs. Globally, the Danish jewellery brand saw its total revenues climb by 3 per cent on a like-for-like basis, reaching 7.1 billion Danish kroner (£820 million). The company is bracing for a 450 million Danish krona (£52 million) financial impact next year as a direct result of US tariffs. To mitigate the tariff costs, Pandora is exploring measures such as switching sources of supply and shipping jewellery directly to Canada and Latin America, bypassing its US warehouse. Pandora has already implemented several price rises since October 2024 in response to higher prices and is considering further increases to offset the impact of tariffs.

7 best kids' tables and chairs that will encourage learning and creativity

Table and chair sets are a place for kids to unleash their creativity, but not all sets are created equal. So with assistance from my mini testers, I have tried, tested and selected some of the most beautifully designed, practical and easy to care for kids' furniture sets. Something I noticed during trialling these sets is that their sizes vary enormously – make sure the one that you choose will fit your child. Ideally, kids' feet should be planted firmly on the ground. Consider a chair with a backrest if your child will be sitting for any length of time, too. My testers and I were enchanted by the Great Little Trading dandelion toddler set (114.40, The animal design is cute, and it's easy to assemble and large enough to see kids through their early years. Below, you'll also find furniture for younger and older kids, including a set for less than £40. How I tested With assistance from my mini testers, I spent hours testing these chairs and tables, putting them through their paces as my children used them for eating, crafting and playing. While paying attention to how my kids naturally interacted with the furniture, I was also assessing the chairs by the following criteria: Durability: I noted the materials used and the sturdiness of the furniture. Cleaning: Where there are children, there is probably mess, so I made sure to check how easy each of the tables was to wipe down. Practicality: I made a note of how easy the sets were to assemble (for instance, how many people did it take to set the furniture up, and how long did it take us?). I also factored in features that made the sets easy for my testers and me to use. Some of the best chairs had rubber feet to stop chair legs from scraping across the floor, and adjustable elements. Extras: I paid attention to any innovative design features that made the sets stand out, from those that would help to spark creativity and learning, to extra storage. Size: I examined the sizes and storability of this furniture, and the age range for which they were best suited. Enlisting little testers to help her put each of the products she reviews through their paces in real-world conditions, Zoë's verdicts are thorough, honest and fair. After many hours spent checking materials, wrestling with chair legs and wiping down table tops, she has only recommended the furniture sets that passed her tests.
