Inside Taylor Swift's WILDEST 4th of July parties from drunken karaoke to THAT mortifying Tom Hiddleston shirt
From 2013 to 2016, the 14-time Grammy winner turned her New England home into a star-studded summer escape, complete with American flag bikinis, oversized floats, fireworks and famous friends.
Over the years, the guest list ranged from A-listers like Gigi Hadid, Karlie Kloss, Blake Lively and Cara Delevingne to her own childhood pals like Abigail Anderson and Brittany Maack.
The parties, affectionately dubbed Taymerica by fans, weren't just celebrations of Independence Day, they became a celebration of Swift's closest friendships and her love of making memories.
In honor of her favorite holiday, DailyMail.com is revisiting all of Swift's red, white, and wildly iconic Fourth of July parties.
This includes all the squad photos, drunken karaoke and, of course, her ex-boyfriend Tom Hiddleston 's legendary 'I ❤️ T.S.' tank top.
It is unknown how she'll celebrate this year, it is safe to assume she'll be spending the day with her boyfriend, Travis Kelce.
2013: Miss Americana
Back in her Red era, Taylor's first Watch Hill celebration felt more like a cozy and casual get-together.
Still, there were barefoot group hugs on the lawn and sparklers illuminating the beach as guests took in fireworks exploding over the ocean.
Her guests were mostly family, a few close friends and her backup dancers.
At this point, there was no press, no aerial shots and no matching rompers, just lots of face paint and patriotism.
It was the calm before the storm. And, in hindsight, a warm-up for her most epic parties to come.
2014: The start of an age
At this point in her career, Swift's 1989 era was still brewing and so was the concept of her iconic girl gang.
What had once been a laidback hang turned into a celebrity fever dream as her bash was attended by stars like Lena Dunham, Jaime King, Emma Stone and Ingrid Michaelson.
Activities included swimming, baking and posing for group photos, which were curated like a Vogue spread.
Swift even described one party shot as a 'family portrait' on Twitter.
2015: Squad Goals on steroids
In 2015, Taylor Swift turned the Fourth of July into a date Swifties looked forward to every year.
Those attending the backyard pool party included Ed Sheeran, Gigi Hadid, Joe Jonas, the Haim sisters, Nick Jonas and Martha Hunt.
To make it unforgettable, she purchased a multi-story inflatable slide that towered over her lawn and stationed countless floaties in the pool.
Gigi and Joe, who were dating at the time, apparently brought some incredible party favours for the guests, providing American flag-decorated onesies for everyone.
And, at the center of it all, was Swift, who somehow managed to take photos with every partygoer, grill and cuddle up to her man.
In one picture, Ed Sheeran posed proudly in a red military jacket, which resembled one that would be worn in the British army during the American Revolution.
'When Ed shows up in a red coat for the 4th of July because he just can't let it go,' Taylor cheekily captioned her post, at the time.
Taylor also shared a heartwarming snap of herself getting a piggyback ride from Calvin.
'Friendly relations between Scotland and America,' she wrote under the since-deleted photo.
2016: The 'I ❤️ T.S.' heard around the world
The year of 2016 saw the squad once again take to her $18 million mansion for another Independence Day celebration which lasted five days.
She pulled out all the stops to ensure her celebrity guests had a holiday they'll never forget - including a giant red, white, and blue inflatable water slide.
Her new beau, Tom Hiddleston, was in attendance, as well as pals Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Gigi Hadid, Karlie Kloss, Ruby Rose, Uzo Adubo, and Cara Delevingne.
Fireworks, karaoke, matching American flag swimsuits, and a performance from Ed Sheeran made for an unforgettable bash that social media was left reeling over.
The party also created the iconic moment where Taylor and Tom Hiddleston were photographed frolicking in the surf as he rocked a 'I Heart T.S' tank top.
Just in case that was too subtle, he also had his arm branded with a temporary tattoo of a love heart bearing Taylor's initials.
The infatuated duo could not seem to keep their hands off each other as they embraced and kissed in the water.
2017-2022: The disappearance
After 2016, the parties stopped, due to political reasons, and Taylor refrained from posting on Fourth of July.
In August, 2019, she explained she stopped hosting her 'Taymerica' soirées on account of her 'disillusionment' with American politics following Trump's first win.
'The thing I can't get over right now is gaslighting the American public into being like, "If you hate the president, you hate America." We're a democracy – at least, we're supposed to be – where you're allowed to disagree, dissent, debate,' she told The Guardian.
The pause lasted, which also coincided with her relationship with Joe Alwyn, which lasted between 2017 and Spring 2023, lasted until 2023.
2023: The return of Taymerica
Fortunately for her fans, Taymerica was not shelved indefinitely.
In July 2023, a few days after the Fourth, Taylor posted a casual Instagram carousel, featuring her pals, popsicles and a subtle reference to her split from Alwyn.
'Happy belated Independence Day from your local neighborhood independent girlies,' she captioned her post, seemingly alluding to her brief, single relationship status.
In attendance at the Rhode Island beach house were members of the singer's girl gang, including bestie Selena Gomez, the Haim sisters, and Sydney Ness, and stylist Ashley Avignone.
The group were pictured sprawled across the grass in swimsuits as they celebrated the national holiday.
Taylor also shared some Polaroid snaps, which included one of her lovingly hugging Selena, and another of the group dancing around in her kitchen.

‘Winning, winning, winning:' Trump signs his ‘big, beautiful bill' into law
Donald Trump strode onto the Truman Balcony in the evening sun, his glamorous wife, Melania, to his left, his recently passed 'big, beautiful, bill' waiting for him on the South Lawn. 'America's winning, winning, winning like never before,' he declared, the stars and stripes billowing behind him. It was the moment he had been waiting for. Against the odds, Mr Trump had managed to push his controversial legislative victory through Congress in time for the nation's birthday. The US president and Mrs Trump leant back and marvelled as fights and a B2 stealth bomber – which Mr Trump called a 'big, beautiful plane' – streaked the blue skies above the annual White House Fourth of July military picnic. Dressed in a long, white dress with white, blue and red detailing at the waist, her hair in loose curls, Mrs Trump, 55, made a rare appearance with her husband, standing beside him, her hands in her pockets, as he delivered a 30-minute speech. Occasionally, Mr Trump would reach out to touch her waist. The White House had also been styled: it was decorated with red, white and blue bunting for the festivities. The president thanked his beaming first lady for her contributions to the celebrations: 'She worked very hard to make this all work'. The United States Marine Band played patriotic marches interspersed with songs by 1980s pop icons Chaka Khan and Huey Lewis, as well as a rendition of the national anthem. 'We've, I think, had probably the most successful almost six months as a president and the presidency, I think they're saying it was the best six months, and I know for a fact they're saying the last two weeks, there has never been anything like it. 'As far as winning, winning, winning,' Mr Trump told the crowd of supporters, politicians and military families. America is the 'hottest country' in the world, Mr Trump added, as he wore a navy suit in Friday's 30-degree heat. 'It's only going to get hotter, I promise you that', he added. The festivities came after Mr Trump's bill passed the House on a largely party-line vote on Thursday, culminating a months-long push by the GOP to cram most of its priorities into a single budget bill that could be enacted without Senate Democrats being able to block it indefinitely by filibustering. The legislation extends Trump's 2017 multi-trillion dollar tax cuts and cuts Medicaid and food stamps by $1.2 trillion. It provides for a massive increase in immigration enforcement. Congress's non-partisan scorekeeper projects that nearly 12 million more people will lose health insurance under the law. Democrats condemned the package as a giveaway to the rich that will rob millions more lower-income people of their health insurance, food assistance and financial stability. Hakeem Jeffries, the House minority leader, said the assembly floor resembled a 'crime scene' due to the cuts to services in a record-breaking speech that delayed the bill's passage by more than eight hours. Responding indirectly on Friday, Mr Trump said: 'I just want you to know if you see anything negative put out by Democrats, it's all a con job.' He said his legislation was 'the biggest bill of its type in history'. 'We've never had anything like that before, nothing like that they thought would be possible to get passed', he said. It was a 'triumph of democracy on the birthday of democracy', he added. Following his remarks, Mr Trump walked down the steps to the South Lawn to finally greet his beloved bill. Republican legislators and members of cabinet crowded behind him as he signed the legislation. He then banged down the gavel, given to him by House Speaker Mike Johnson, that was used during the bill's final passage.

Blac Chyna ends engagement to Derrick Milano after 2 years together
Blac Chyna and Derrick Milano have broken off their engagement after two years of being betrothed. The rapper, 37, who now goes by her birth name, Angela White, shared a post to her Instagram Stories revealing the split on July 3. 'After much prayer and reflection, Derrick and I have decided to call off the engagement,' her post began. 'We love each other deeply and are good friends, but we both believe that God's guidance has shown us that this is the right path for both of us, as we each continue our journeys,' she continued. 'May we find peace and fulfillment in His divine will, trusting that His plan is greater than our own.' Milano, a Grammy-winning producer and songwriter, 31, posted a similar statement on his own Instagram Stories. Milano, who's real last name is Gray, proposed to White while she was performing on stage during Howard University's Yard Fest in 2023. Milano could be seen facing Blac Chyna who had joined him on the stage and after a few moments, he got down on one knee and pulled out a ring box. The crowd erupted into loud cheers and applause as she agreed to marry him. She flashed an excited smile as the couple kissed and fell into a loving embrace. She then held out her left hand as he placed the diamond sparkler on her ring finger as the audience continued to applaud the lovebirds. Derrick then picked up his microphone and asked, 'Angela, will you marry me?' In response, Blac Chyna simply held up her left hand to show off the eye-catching ring to the crowd. DJ Quicksilva typed out in the caption of the clip, 'Only @HowardU #YardFest can make MAGIC happen like this.' He added, 'My guy @DerrickMilano just popped the BIG question to the HomeTeam @BLACCHYNA. CONGRATS.' At the time, they made a statement to People announcing their engagement. The same month the couple went official with their relationship, she gushed 'You won't be able to say power couple without mentioning Angela White & Derrick Gray! 'They always say don't go looking for love, let love find you. In… this case love found us. I know that might sound cliché, but hey, it be like that sometimes.' She added that their relationship is based on 'friendship' as well as 'long talks, consistency, support, love, trust, and faith.' The star added that God's timing is, 'always right & when it comes to love, you have to have faith in GOD & each other. But always GOD first!' 'Being able to be around somebody in your most vulnerable state plays a huge role in a successful relationship. 'Not to mention how important communication is to express to each other feelings, emotions, & honesty.' Blac Chyna continued, 'As you know I'm very involved in my career & vision just as much as Derrick is. When I win "WE WIN" when He wins "WE WIN."' White has previously been engaged to ex, Tyga, and also Rob Kardashian. She and Tyga began dating in 2011 and welcomed their son, King Cairo, 12, in October 2012. But their engagement ended when they split in 2014 after he began a romance with Kylie Jenner. During an interview on The Viall Files podcast in 2023, she opened up about what led to their separation. 'I feel like it ran its course and then he started talking to Kylie at the time, which she was like 16 or something. Yeah, I was engaged and stuff, so that's kind of what ended it.' In 2016, Blac Chyna moved on with Rob Kardashian and the former couple share daughter Dream Kardashian, seven. That same year, the pair became engaged but their tumultuous relationship came to an end in 2017.

Civil war breaks out at ESPN as popular on-air personalities clash over 'credibility' in public spat
There's a civil war brewing at ESPN as two of its popular on-air personalities, Kirk Herbstreit and Elle Duncan, are clashing over 'credibility' in a public spat. The feud between the college football analyst and the host of the flagship edition of 'SportsCenter' began as Hebrstreit spoke on what he feels is the proper etiquette of a broadcaster. Duncan was not the only name Herbstreit dropped, but hers was the only one painted in a negative light by the longtime 'College GameDay' personality, with him taking exception with broadcasters who show fandom on-air. 'If you are a personality, like a Bill Simmons, or a Stephen A. (Smith), or a Pat McAfee … part of their schtick is kind of that,' Herbstreit said this week on 'Next Man Up'. 'But you watch SportsCenter and Elle Duncan is sitting there cheering for Georgia.' 'She's openly cheering. I'm not a fan of that personally. I think it hurts your credibility. When that team is playing other teams, fans are looking at you like… That's different.' Duncan took time away from her Independence Day celebrations to fire back at Herbstreit, with her response being anything but civil. Herbstreit's comments over how to act on-camera led to a clapback from Duncan on Friday 'Didn't have this on my bingo card for today but my fandom doesn't impact in any way what or how we talk about teams on air. Ever,' Duncan posted on X. 'I… Also **whispers** I'm not the only one. So why I get singled out?' Herbstreit was accused of being hypocritical after his comments were made, as he has been viewed as partial to Ohio State. Others have viewed the criticism of Duncan as fair, as they want the news of sports not to be given with personal opinions inserted without warning, Duncan and Herbstreit do cross paths on ESPN's airwaves, as SportsCenter's anchors are tasked with interviewing specialists from the network on their expertise. Herbstreit has done plenty of guest spots on ESPN's flagship show, and will likely run into Duncan again.
