Perched above the windswept Rhode Island coast, Taylor Swift 's $17 million Watch Hill mansion played host to the most iconic Fourth of July weekends of the summer. From 2013 to 2016, the 14-time Grammy winner turned her New England home into a star-studded summer escape, complete with American flag bikinis, oversized floats, fireworks and famous friends. This includes all the squad photos, drunken karaoke and, of course, her ex-boyfriend Tom Hiddleston 's legendary 'I ❤️ T.S.' tank top. It is unknown how she'll celebrate this year, it is safe to assume she'll be spending the day with her boyfriend, Travis Kelce. 2013: Miss Americana Back in her Red era, Taylor's first Watch Hill celebration felt more like a cozy and casual get-together. Still, there were barefoot group hugs on the lawn and sparklers illuminating the beach as guests took in fireworks exploding over the ocean. Her guests were mostly family, a few close friends and her backup dancers. At this point, there was no press, no aerial shots and no matching rompers, just lots of face paint and patriotism. It was the calm before the storm. And, in hindsight, a warm-up for her most epic parties to come. 2014: The start of an age At this point in her career, Swift's 1989 era was still brewing and so was the concept of her iconic girl gang. Swift even described one party shot as a 'family portrait' on Twitter. 2015: Squad Goals on steroids In 2015, Taylor Swift turned the Fourth of July into a date Swifties looked forward to every year. Those attending the backyard pool party included Ed Sheeran, Gigi Hadid, Joe Jonas, the Haim sisters, Nick Jonas and Martha Hunt. To make it unforgettable, she purchased a multi-story inflatable slide that towered over her lawn and stationed countless floaties in the pool. Gigi and Joe, who were dating at the time, apparently brought some incredible party favours for the guests, providing American flag-decorated onesies for everyone. And, at the center of it all, was Swift, who somehow managed to take photos with every partygoer, grill and cuddle up to her man. In one picture, Ed Sheeran posed proudly in a red military jacket, which resembled one that would be worn in the British army during the American Revolution. Taylor also shared a heartwarming snap of herself getting a piggyback ride from Calvin. 'Friendly relations between Scotland and America,' she wrote under the since-deleted photo. 2016: The 'I ❤️ T.S.' heard around the world The year of 2016 saw the squad once again take to her $18 million mansion for another Independence Day celebration which lasted five days. She pulled out all the stops to ensure her celebrity guests had a holiday they'll never forget - including a giant red, white, and blue inflatable water slide. Her new beau, Tom Hiddleston, was in attendance, as well as pals Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Gigi Hadid, Karlie Kloss, Ruby Rose, Uzo Adubo, and Cara Delevingne. Fireworks, karaoke, matching American flag swimsuits, and a performance from Ed Sheeran made for an unforgettable bash that social media was left reeling over. The party also created the iconic moment where Taylor and Tom Hiddleston were photographed frolicking in the surf as he rocked a 'I Heart T.S' tank top. Just in case that was too subtle, he also had his arm branded with a temporary tattoo of a love heart bearing Taylor's initials. The infatuated duo could not seem to keep their hands off each other as they embraced and kissed in the water. 2017-2022: The disappearance After 2016, the parties stopped, due to political reasons, and Taylor refrained from posting on Fourth of July. The pause lasted, which also coincided with her relationship with Joe Alwyn, which lasted between 2017 and Spring 2023, lasted until 2023. 2023: The return of Taymerica Fortunately for her fans, Taymerica was not shelved indefinitely. In July 2023, a few days after the Fourth, Taylor posted a casual Instagram carousel, featuring her pals, popsicles and a subtle reference to her split from Alwyn. 'Happy belated Independence Day from your local neighborhood independent girlies,' she captioned her post, seemingly alluding to her brief, single relationship status. In attendance at the Rhode Island beach house were members of the singer's girl gang, including bestie Selena Gomez, the Haim sisters, and Sydney Ness, and stylist Ashley Avignone. The group were pictured sprawled across the grass in swimsuits as they celebrated the national holiday. Taylor also shared some Polaroid snaps, which included one of her lovingly hugging Selena, and another of the group dancing around in her kitchen.

Gruesome Find Near Taylor Swift's Rhode Island Home Raises Alarm
A chilling discovery of human remains near Taylor Swift's Rhode Island mansion has raised some alarm, as residents fear a possible serial killer is targeting the region. On the morning of Wednesday, May 14, NBC10 reported that Westerly police were called to Everett Avenue in the Watch Hill neighborhood, a mere 0.3 miles from Swift's lavish property, after reports of suspected human remains. When officers arrived, they found what appeared to be a human leg bone. According to the outlet, the remains were collected and sent to the Rhode Island Medical Examiner's Office for further examination. The case is currently being investigated by the Westerly Police Detective Division. Local resident Taylor Day, who drove past the scene as police were arriving, described the situation as 'alarming' and unusual for the typically quiet town. 'It's just something very out of the ordinary for Westerly. I would never expect anything like that — especially not in Watch Hill.' Day told NBC10. While police have insisted there is no indication of foul play, Day remains skeptical. "Finding a leg is very suspicious," she said. Recent discoveries of human bodies and remains across multiple Northeastern states have led to growing fears of a serial killer targeting women. Despite the concerning pattern of discoveries in the New England area, authorities maintain there is no confirmed link between the cases, and no known public threat. As for 35-year-old Swift, she's yet to comment on the whole ordeal. However, the singer has spent significant time at her Rhode Island estate, otherwise known as 'Holiday House,' over the years, including hosting a number of outings, specifically for 'Taymerica' and Fourth of July, at her mansion. The pop star purchased the home in 2013 for $17.75 million. It spans over 11,000 square feet and has its own private beach, among other things.
