But the paper-thin material meant that Leotta was on full view to the world.
She didn't seem to mind though as she smiled for the camera while on a night out.
The ace also shared several more snaps on Instagram, including some of her wearing a leopard-print bikini while chilling in a swimming pool.
In another picture, Leotta posed with a friend while wearing a floral dress.
And some final snaps showed the Italian living her best life with her daughter, who she shares with former Premier League goalkeeper Loris Karius.
Fans were quick to react online, with one saying: "The most beautiful."
Another declared: "Fantastic."
One noted: "Goodness gracious."
Another added: "What a show you are."
Leotta's outrageous see-through dress moment comes after she and fellow DAZN presenter Eleonora Incardona were slammed for their 'vulgar' fashion sense while on TV.

Incardona had already appeared to clap back by wearing another saucy black dress.
And this may have been Leotta's answer to the critics too.
Fellow presenter Valentina Maceri had caused a stir when she said this month: 'Personally, I would say that the way female reporters present themselves on the sidelines in Italy is sometimes borderline.
'I think women should be sexy but always with style and class. That's sometimes lacking in Italy. Here. the principle that sex sells applies strongly.
'If you want to speak on an equal level with players and officials, it's not conducive.
'Incardona mainly deals with DAZN BET — meaning she presents the betting odds. And she does it very sexy. Sometimes vulgarly.'

Burnley close in on deal for £25m-rated forgotten Chelsea star as Blues look to finance Alejandro Garnacho and Xavi Simons moves
Chelsea striker Armando Broja is closing on a move to Scott Parker 's Burnley. The 23-year old is set to undergo a medical ahead of a permanent move to the newly-promoted side. Chelsea have been looking for £25million for Broja, who graduated from the club's academy after initially joining their youth setup in 2009. The Albania international spent last season on loan at Everton. His spell on Merseyside was curtailed by injuries however, and Broja was unable to find the net in his ten Premier League appearances for the Toffees. Burnley have also been looking at Norwich City striker Josh Sargent but talks over Broja are at an advanced stage. Chelsea are in a phase of selling fringe players and are hoping to generate funds ahead of their next recruitment stage where they intend to add the likes of Manchester United's Alejandro Garnacho and Xavi Simons from Red Bull Leipzig. Nicolas Jackson could also leave the club before the end of the month.

Ruben Amorim plots two more signings after Benjamin Sesko with Man Utd frontrunners
Manchester United have been linked with a move for Benjamin Sesko, but it appears Ruben Amorim will not be satisfied if they only sign the young Slovenian Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim will have his eye on signing two more players, even if they secure a deal for Benjamin Sesko. The Red Devils are pursuing the RB Leipzig forward, who is also wanted by Newcastle United, and are said to be the frontrunners for his signature. Amorim has already been busy in the transfer window, wrapping up a deal for £62.5million Wolverhampton Wanderers forward Matheus Cunha, before forking out a furthe r £71m on Brentford attacker Bryan Mbeumo. However, with United's form on the floor since he took over from the sacked Erik ten Hag, Amorim is still looking to bolster his squad. Sesko, 22, could cost United as much as £70m, which would take their spending past the £200m mark. Nevertheless, recent reports indicate Amorim wants to add more depth to his squad. According to the Sun, if the Red Devils do secure Sesko's signature, Amorim will still want to add two more players to his squad. One of those will be a back-up goalkeeper to Andre Onana. It's understood Antwerp's shot-stopper, Senne Lammens, is in their sights at this current moment. However, Onana's future as No. 1 was also thrown into doubt when United were linked with a surprise move for Paris Saint-Germain No. 1 Gianluigi Donnarumma. The Italian only has one year left on his deal at the Parc des Princes, but talks over a new deal in the French capital recently hit a wall. While the Manchester Evening News recently stated Onana has been informed his position as United's No. 1 is still intact, the shot-stopper has often left plenty to be desired. Onana, 29, was signed from Inter Milan by Ten Hag in the summer of 2023 for £47m. While there have been some positive moments, the Cameroonian has been largely inconsistent. Meanwhile, second-choice goalkeeper Altay Bayindir has mainly featured in the League Cup and the FA Cup. Despite being handed the No. 1 shirt when he signed from Fenerbahce for £4.3m in the same summer, the Turkish international has only made four Premier League appearances. However, it is clear that a move for Sesko has taken priority over everything else. Fabrizio Romano recently claimed United will send a "formal bid" to Leipzig, if or when the player indicates he wants to move to Old Trafford. Newcastle have still been linked with him and recently rejected a £110m bid from Liverpool for Alexander Isak. But in and amongst the rumours, current United forward Rasmus Hojlund pledged to remain a red and compete for his place. The Dane recently said: "I think my plan is very clear and that's for me to stay and fight for my spot, whatever happens. Competition is fine with me, it sharpens me. "I'm more than ready. I'm feeling sharp, so I'm welcoming everything that comes. I think it's good with competition and it only sharpens the team. 'I'm still very young. I think people forget that sometimes. I'm only 22. Obviously, not every striker is scoring 100 goals at the age of 22. But I've learned a lot, I think you can see in my game." Thomas Frank can't hide true feelings on Son Heung-min after emotional Spurs departure
Tottenham icon Son Heung-min confirmed his decision to leave the North London club ahead of the new season and new boss Thomas Frank has now spoken out on his exit Thomas Frank claims he would still 'love to work' with Son Heung-min but claims his upcoming exit is a 'perfect ending'. The 33-year-old forward confirmed his intention to leave the club after ten years in an emotional press conference in South Korea. He has yet to confirm where his next stage will be, albeit has been strongly linked with a move to MLS side LAFC. New Spurs boss Frank was alongside Son as he made his announcement - and was asked for his thoughts. While the Dane would have relished the chance to coach the forward, he believes that the timing is now right to bid farewell. He said: 'For me personally, I would love to work with him. He is a fantastic person and player. 'I've had the opportunity to watch him from a distance. He has been here 10 years at Spurs, not just 10 years but 10 amazing years. He is a truly Spurs legend in every aspect. I actually think one of the best players who has ever played in the Premier League as a winger in my opinion. 'I like the club has been open to it because it is never easy to find that perfect timing and me coming in a little bit from the side I think it's probably the perfect timing going out on a high. Been here for 10 years, won a well deserved trophy. Been a key player for many seasons. It's almost the perfect ending to a happy family.' And it appears that Frank is set to give Son the perfect chance to say goodbye to Spurs. The former Brentford boss has confirmed that the forward will captain the side in their pre-season friendly against Premier League rivals Newcastle in home country Saudi Arabia. He added: 'I think it's very clear. It's no secret that Sonny will start and will lead the team out as captain. So I'm looking forward to that in many ways and if it is to be the last game for Sonny, what a place to do it in South Korea, his home country in front of his home fans. 'That could potentially be a beautiful ending. First and foremost with the biggest respect to Sonny and what he's done for the club.' Where will Tottenham finish in the Premier League this season? Share your thoughts in the comments below With a month of the transfer window left to go, attention will now turn to potential replacements that could be brought in ahead of Son's exit. But Frank has claimed that he already has a few candidates already at the club. He said: 'First and foremost, when a great player is leaving a team other players have a chance to shine. Brennan Johnson is a player who could play on the left. 'Also I think that Wilson Odobert did well against Arsenal and can play on the left and also Mathys Tel is a flexible player. I think we have some young promising players that hopefully can step up and take over from Sonny in the future.'
