Two arrested after pursuit of suspected stolen Jeep ends in Hawthorne
LOS ANGELES - Two people were taken into custody after a brief pursuit in Los Angeles.
In South LA, police began pursuing a black Jeep that was believed to be stolen.
SkyFOX was over the chase as the suspect drove through parts of Inglewood and Hawthorne. They were seen recklessly driving on the wrong side of the road, narrowly dodging traffic.
The pursuit came to an end when the driver stopped the vehicle in the area of Fonthill and Rosecrans avenues in the Moneta Gardens area of Hawthorne.
A female driver and male passenger exited the car and were taken into custody without incident.

Under the Biden administration, the U.S. unwittingly became a government sponsor of child trafficking, according to Health and Human Services whistleblower, Tara Rodas. She claimed thousands of reports of migrant child human trafficking were left uninvestigated until President Donald Trump returned to the White House. On "Fox & Friends Weekend" Sunday, Rodas thanked host Rachel Campos-Duffy for bringing light to "what we now know was the Biden-Harris administration government-sponsored, taxpayer-funded child trafficking." Data from the Health and Human Services shows the Biden administration failed to investigate more than 7,000 reports of migrant child human trafficking, bringing the total backlog of reports to more than 65,000. Rodas went on to explain that the prior administration's push to quickly process migrant children who entered the U.S. led to many being placed with sponsors who were not family and some who were active threats. "The New York Times, if you can imagine, even revealed that, in some zip codes, less than 10% of the kids went to family members. This is unacceptable," she said. "When I raised my hand to help the Biden administration with this crisis, I believed I was going to help place children in loving homes." "I had no idea that we were sending children to criminals, to traffickers, and to members of transnational criminal organizations. … The Biden-Harris administration turned vulnerable children over to high-level criminal actors." Rodas attempted to take action on the issue in 2023, warning Congress that the U.S. had become the "middleman" in a transnational human trafficking operation. She detailed a process that begins with children being recruited in their home country, then smuggled to the U.S. border, and ends with the U.S. government placing the children with sponsors who are criminals and traffickers. But Trump, Rodas said, "will not stand for that." "The new administration under President Trump has taken unprecedented action to find these children," she said. "The Trump administration, miraculously, in just a four-month period, has gone through about 28% of that backlog." Rodas admitted there is more work to be done in locating and helping children that have been placed with criminals, but she expressed confidence that the Trump team will be successful. "They are out there using every mechanism that they have," she said. "They are going to find these children."

President Donald Trump shared a post on social media this weekend claiming that President Joe Biden died in 2020 and was replaced with clones. Trump shared a link to the post from his personal account on Truth Social on Saturday. The post originated from a small account on the platform responding to discussions about Biden's health. "There is no Joe Biden – executed in 2020," the post says. "Biden clones, doubles and robotic engineered soulless, mindless entities are what you see." "Democrats don't know the difference," it adds, before listing a litany of hashtags. Trump added no words of his own to the post, merely sharing the link on his personal account. Speculation has exploded in the days since Biden announced he has stage 4 metastatic prostate cancer, a diagnosis that typically takes years to develop. The nature of the diagnosis has led to speculation that members of the previous administration were aware of the cancer but withheld information about it from the public, even as they attempted to run Biden for a second term. Trump said he and first lady Melania Trump were "saddened" to learn of Biden's diagnosis and wished him a "fast and successful recovery" in a post on social media this weekend. "Melania and I are saddened to hear about Joe Biden's recent medical diagnosis," Trump wrote. "We extend our warmest and best wishes to Jill and the family, and we wish Joe a fast and successful recovery."

Celebrations after PSG's Champions League win turn deadly as 2 fans killed, cop in coma
Two fans died and a police officer was placed under an induced coma after celebrations around France, to mark Paris Saint-Germain's historic Champions League victory, turned violent Saturday night, French authorities said Sunday. The Champions League is Europe's biggest soccer prize. In addition, at least 559 people were arrested nationwide during the mass celebrations, including at least 491 in the capital, the French interior ministry said, according to AFP. The fatalities marred what started as a night of exuberance after PSG clinched its first — and long-awaited — Champions League title, in a 5-0 win over Inter Milan. The Eiffel Tower glowed in team colors, and fans partied through the night in celebrations that were largely peaceful but degenerated into violence in some areas. At one point, motorbikes loudly revved their engines and the crowd cheered as they did laps around the column. There were no police nearby and, by 1 a.m., the atmosphere was upbeat with no tensions and plenty of singing. Nunez blamed the scattered troubles on ″thousands of people who came to commit acts of violence″ instead of watching the match. He noted similar unrest on the sidelines of prior celebrations in the capital, such as after France's World Cup win in 2018.
