Singer Jessie J hospitalized with an infection: 'Finding it hard to breathe in'

Jessie J is facing another health challenge. The 37-year-old singer, who underwent surgery for breast cancer six weeks ago, was hospitalized with an infection, she shared in a series of Instagram stories on Sunday, Aug. 3. Jessie J, whose real name is Jessica Cornish, said she has "a little fluid on my lungs," and although doctors "ran a lot of tests," she is "still trying to figure out" what kind of infection she has. Her symptoms pointed towards a blood clot on her lung, but this was determined to not be the case. "Finding it hard to breathe in, but I discharged myself last night (I hate being in hospital) and will continue the investigation as an outpatient," she added. The Instagram stories included a photo from what appeared to be a hospital bed showing Jessie J's arm with an IV in it. "How I spent the last 24 hours," she wrote on the picture. Jessie J shares positive update after breast cancer surgery The update comes after Jessie J announced in June that she had been diagnosed with "early" breast cancer. At the time, she told fans she had been in and out of tests, and she later underwent surgery. In July, the "No Secrets" singer announced she had received results indicating the cancer had not spread, though she said she still had "lots of healing to go" and needed to undergo another surgery. Jessie J reveals breast cancer diagnosis In her latest Instagram stories, Jessie J said her recovery has been "far from quick or easy, and mentally it's been the most challenging time for me." She also described her hospitalization as a reminder from her body that she needs to slow down. "This isn't a speedy recovery," she reflected. "And it isn't meant to be. ... That slow pace has been a hard reality to accept tbh. I love moving and working and being up and active but I can't be right now, and that's what it is." Later on Aug. 3, the Grammy nominee shared a playful update, joking that she "finally got a diagnosis" for what was wrong with her, and "apparently it's called ... dramatic?" She added, "My symptoms are the same and no idea what's wrong yet. But my sarcasm and sense of humor are holding on." Classic 'Star Wars' Movie Receives New Rating

The Star Wars franchise has a long history, going back to the 1977 release of the original film first titled Star Wars and later retitled A New Hope . While Disney now operates this franchise, it was originally still under the control of creator George Lucas for quite some time, and he was able to create a trilogy of prequels including The Phantom Menace , Attack of the Clones , and Revenge of the Sith . Now one of these Star Wars films has received a new rating in the UK several decades after its initial release. As shared via The Telegraph, the British Board of Film Classification issued the rating when revisiting this aforementioned Star Wars film alongside various other cinematic classics. Interestingly, this Star Wars movie was previously rated U – which stands for 'Universal' – and brought up to a PG. For those unfamiliar, a U is much like a G rating in the United States. With changing times, however, the British Board of Film Classification deemed it necessary to change the UK rating of this Star Wars film released in 1999 – The Phantom Menace . It seems that this decision was made as a result of the film's final lightsaber fight. It's often considered one of the strongest sequences not only in the film, or the prequel trilogy, but the saga as a whole. The sequence has young Obi-Wan and his mentor, Qui-Gon Jinn, battling Darth Maul. It's an impressive fight scene and one that really upped the ante following the original trilogy. The sequence ultimately ends with Obi-Wan slicing Darth Maul in half after his master is killed in battle, and while it isn't particularly gory, it's violent enough that the rating of the entire film has gone up. As mentioned, The Phantom Menace is far from the only title to receive a new classification by the British Board of Film Classification. It is interesting, however, to see one of the least serious Star Wars films receive a slightly heavier rating almost three decades since its initial release. Stay tuned to ScreenGeek for any additional updates regarding the Star Wars franchise as we have them. While the 'Skywalker Saga' that The Phantom Menace opens has come to an end, it's clear that the brand is far from over with many new films and shows currently in the works.

Oasis fan dies in tragic fall during Wembley Stadium show on band's world tour

Oasis band members were "shocked and saddened" by a fan's death at their latest Wembley Stadium show. Officers from London's Metropolitan Police force responded to reports of an injured person on Saturday night. Paramedics arrived at the scene just before 10:30 p.m. and discovered a man in his 40s "with injuries consistent with a fall," a spokesperson for the Met told Fox News Digital. The unnamed individual was pronounced dead at the scene. "The stadium was busy, and we believe it is likely a number of people witnessed the incident, or may knowingly or unknowingly have caught it on mobile phone video footage," authorities said. The band was "saddened" to hear of the fan's death in a statement provided to Fox News Digital. "We are shocked and saddened to hear of the tragic death of a fan at the show last night," the band's representatives said. "Oasis would like to extend our sincere condolences to the family and friends of the person involved." Three more concerts are scheduled at Wembley as part of an Oasis world tour. Noel and Liam Gallagher embarked on a comeback tour in July — a series of concerts marking the first time Oasis has performed together since the band broke up in 2009. The brothers announced their reunion and global world tour last year. "Oasis today end years of feverish speculation with the confirmation of a long awaited run of UK and Ireland shows," the band's website stated. "The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised." Oasis split in 2009 after many years of infighting, with Noel officially leaving the band just before a performance at a festival near Paris. Even before the dissolution, the brothers had long had an antagonistic relationship and reportedly did not speak to each other for years after the breakup. "People will write and say what they like, but I simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer," Noel, the band's guitarist and songwriter, wrote in a statement at the time of the split. In 2011, Noel told The Associated Press in an interview that he left the band after an incident where Liam started wielding a guitar "like an axe... and he's swinging this guitar around and he kind of you know, he took my face off with it, you know?" In 2019, Liam told the AP he was ready to reconcile. "The most important thing is about me and him being brothers," he said. "He thinks I'm desperate to get the band back together for money. But I didn't join the band to make money. I joined the band to have fun and to see the world."
