El Le'ba Season 5 to Begin Filming in July Ahead of September Release

Director Moataz El Tony has announced that filming for the fifth season of the comedy series El Le'ba will begin in July 2025, with its release scheduled for September on digital platforms. The original cast - including Chico, Hesham Maged, Ahmed Fathi, Mohamed Tharwat, Mai Kassab, Mirna Gamil, Sami Maghawry, and Arefa Abdel Rasoul - will return for the new season.
The series is written by Ahmed Saad Wali, Ibrahim Saber, and Mohamed Salah Khattab, and directed by El Tony.
El Tony also achieved notable success during Ramadan 2025 with his series El Captain, starring Akram Hosny, and is currently preparing for a new film project, Zawgat Ragol Mesh Mohem, featuring Akram Hosny and Yasmine Abdel Aziz.

"Pershama" Wraps Production
Yara Sameh Production has wrapped up on Egyptian actor and screenwriter Hesham Maged in the comedy film "Pershama". The cast also stars Riham Abdel Ghafour, Bassem Samra, Taha Desouky, Moustafa Ghareeb, and more. Khaled Diab directs the pic from a script by Ahmed El-Zaghbi and Sherine Diab. During university, he created the Tamr Hendi production company with his friends which produced films that ridiculed famous Egyptian films. They created film 'Men who do not know the impossible', a project that attracted the attention of Mohamed Hefzy, who at the time was trying his hand at production. Hefzy produced their first TV series 'Afeesh wa Tashbeeh' that tackled Egyptian classics in a cynical way in each episode. He also produced the trio's 2008 film "Waraqat Shifra" which was a big hit at the box office. Maged starred and scripted the film which familiarized his face to the audience. Ahmed Abd El Wahab Guest Stars in Upcoming Film Ahmed W Ahmed
Ahmed Abd El Wahab. Ahmed Abd El Wahab makes a special guest appearance in the upcoming film Ahmed W Ahmed, which he also co-wrote alongside Karim Sami Kimz. The film is set for theatrical release on July 2. Starring Ahmed El Sakka, Ahmed Fahmy, and Ahmed Abd El Wahab, the film boasts a star-studded cast and is directed by Ahmed Nader Galal. Aya Samaha to Star Alongside Ahmed Fahmy in TV Series "Ibn El Nady"
Yara Sameh Egyptian actress Aya Samaha is set to star alongside actor and screenwriter Ahmed Fahmy in the comedy TV series "Ibn El Nady." Karim Saad is directing the series from a script by Mohab Tarek. TVision is the studio behind the drama. "Ibn El Nady" is a Shahid original content that focuses on the world of Egyptian football through the life of Omar El Sheshtawy, a spoiled rich kid with a unique kind of smarts whose life takes a wild turn. The drama marks Fahmy's comeback to the small screen after two years of absence. He made his last appearance in the 2023 TV shows "Safah Al Giza" and "Sero El Batea". Samaha, meanwhile, made her last appearance on the small screen in the social-comedy TV series " El Captain ". Samaha, born on March 31, 1992, started her acting career with the 2016 film "Hepta: The Last Lecture" and received more onscreen time in the 2016 mystery TV series "Grand Hotel". In 2020, she starred in Netflix's series "Paranormal", based on Ahmed Khaled Tawfik's supernatural novel "Ma Waraa Al Tabiaa".
