Realme 15 Pro 5G key features and design tipped online ahead of launch
Realme 15 Pro 5G: Design and Key Features (Leaked)
The leaked images show that the Realme 15 Pro 5G will have a design distinct from its predecessor, the Realme 14 Pro 5G, which was introduced earlier this year. Notably, the back of the device displays a dual-camera system arranged vertically, with each camera enclosed in a separate ring. Next to these lenses is a third circular space housing the LED flash. The main camera is reported to feature a 50MP sensor, though details about the secondary camera remain under wraps.

On the front, the device offers a flat display with narrow bezels surrounding it. The selfie camera sits in a centred punch-hole cutout at the top of the screen. Physical buttons for volume control and power are placed on the left side of the phone. The fingerprint sensor does not appear on the frame, which suggests that it might be integrated under the display.

Furthermore, the Realme 15 series is expected to include advanced AI features. Two features confirmed for this lineup are AI Edit Genie, which allows users to edit photos using voice commands, and AI Party. The Realme 15 Pro 5G is likely to come in various RAM and storage configurations, including 8GB with 128GB or 256GB storage, and 12GB with 256GB or 512GB storage. Though Realme has not yet confirmed the official launch date, the frequent leaks indicate the announcement is on the horizon.

Realme 15 Pro 5G vs iQOO Z10R: Pick the one that suits you best
Choosing a powerful phone today is not just about price. It is about the right mix of speed, battery, camera and display. The Realme 15 Pro 5G and the iQOO Z10R are two phones that aim to offer great performance without breaking the bank. Both come packed with premium features and have gained attention for different reasons. Let us compare them in detail. Compare Realme 15 pro 5g and iQOO Z10: Performance, display, and battery showdown Display and Build Realme 15 Pro 5G offers a 6.8 inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 2800 pixels and 6500 nit peak brightness. It supports a refresh rate of 144 Hz, which means scrolling and gaming feel smoother. The iQOO Z10R comes with a 6.77-inch Quad Curved AMOLED and a resolution of 1080 x 2392 pixels, supporting 120 Hz refresh. While both deliver crisp visuals and fast response, Realme's slightly larger screen and IP65 rating for dust and water resistance give it a slight edge in build quality. Performance and Speed iQOO Z10R runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor, designed to handle demanding apps, high-end games, and heavy multitasking. It ensures lag-free performance and improved power efficiency. Realme 15 Pro 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, which is also reliable for day-to-day tasks and mid-range gaming. However, if raw power is your top priority, both phones compete closely on speed and multi-tasking. Camera and Battery In terms of camera, Realme comes with a 50 megapixel main camera as well as a 50 megapixel front shooter. iQOO matches this with its own 50 megapixel primary sensor and a slightly higher 32 megapixel front camera. For selfie lovers, iQOO is a better option. When it comes to battery, while the Realme variant offers a massive 7000 mAh unit, the iQOO is equipped with a 5700 mAh battery. Under Rs 30,000: From Nothing to iQOO, top 5 mid-range smartphones
Earlier, people had to spend quite a lot to get an Android phone that performs well and also has good cameras. Now, Rs 30,000 is a solid budget for those eyeing an Android smartphone that excels in photography, gaming, or offers a flagship-like experience. If you've made it halfway through the year still undecided, here's a list to help you choose a solid mid-range smartphone under this budget. Realme's latest flagship is the first in India to feature the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chip, capable of running 7-billion parameter generative AI models. It offers 128GB or 256GB of internal storage and is available exclusively on Amazon. The phone features a 6.78-inch 1.5K display with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 6,000 nits. It runs Realme UI 5 based on Android 14 and has an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance. Realme also touts its advanced cooling system, which includes smart power tuning and a 10014 mm² 3D tempered dual vapour chamber. The rear sports a dual-camera setup with a 50MP main sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide lens, while the front has a 32MP selfie camera. It supports 4K video recording and houses a large 5,500 mAh battery with 100W fast charging. The iQOO Neo 10R features a 6.7-inch flat 1.5K resolution display with 2.5D curved glass and a 120Hz refresh rate. It's powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip, paired with 12GB RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of UFS 3.1/4.1 storage, making it a performance powerhouse, especially for gamers. It scored approximately 150,000 on the AnTuTu benchmark, a strong number for this price segment. It features a 50MP primary and 8MP ultra-wide rear camera combo, and a 32MP front camera capable of 4K recording at 30fps. A large 6,400 mAh battery supports the entire system. With its robust performance, sharp display, and great battery life, the iQOO Neo 10R stands out as a top gaming phone under Rs 30,000. The Nothing 3a Pro offers a standout design with a transparent back and functional Glyph LED lights that also act as notification indicators. It features a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and runs on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset. Its triple-camera system includes a 50MP main sensor, 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. It packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 50W fast charging and runs a clean, bloat-free Nothing OS 3.1 based on Android 15. With a distinctive look, balanced performance, and user-friendly software, it offers strong value at this price. A recent choice, the Motorola Edge 60 Pro combines performance, battery life, AI experiences, and high-end construction. With a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a remarkable peak brightness of 4,500 nits, the 6.7-inch quad-curved pOLED display ensures vivid images even in direct sunlight. The gadget manages multitasking and gaming with ease thanks to its MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Extreme CPU and up to 12GB of RAM. This Edge series phone is priced at Rs 29,748. A smartphone comes equipped with a triple-camera configuration that features a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 10MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. A 32MP front camera allows for excellent selfies. In addition to 15W wireless charging, the 6,000mAh battery enables 90W TurboPower fast charging. The phone offers an Android 15 operating system and Motorola's Hello UI. The Poco F7 will sport the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset and come with a huge 6.83-inch flat LTPO AMOLED screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate, 1.5K resolution, and 1,800 nits of brightness. The phone will be running on HyperOS 2 based on Android 15. It will also come integrated with 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. If you could stretch your budget by a pinch, you could avail yourself of this phone at Rs 31,999. But with bank offers and exchange offers, you squeeze this phone under 30,000. Since this is a mid-range device that focuses on performance rather than camera, we might see a dual camera setup that consists of a 50MP Sony LYT-600 primary sensor and an 8MP ultrawide lens. All will be backed by a 7,550mAh battery that supports 90W fast wired charging and reverse charging of 22.5W. This device will be exclusively sold on the Flipkart website and app.

Realme 15 Pro Review: Delivers a balanced and practical package
The last series from Realme made the mid-range segment quite interesting. At the start of the year, I reviewed the Realme 14 Pro+, whose cold-sensitive colour-changing technology impressed the users. Now, the company has unveiled the 15th series, and featured here is the Pro variant. As a successor, the phone gets its basics right in terms of upgrades, like the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 and a jump in battery power reaching 7,000 mAh. But one persistent question remains - Can the new Realme 15 Pro justify its price tag of ₹31,999? Let's find out! Design In terms of aesthetics, Realme continues to evolve, and the 15 Pro is a testament to that progress. The Silk Purple variant (review unit) feels sleek, modern, and surprisingly light at just 187 grams, despite packing a huge battery. The phone is also available in Flowing Silver and Velvet Green, all featuring subtle textures that elevate the in-hand feel. The matte finish adds grip without compromising on premium vibes. The camera layout sees a change too, ditching the circle of the 14 Pro+ for a rectangular module. Ports and buttons are ergonomically placed with satisfying tactile feedback. You get a dual SIM tray (but no microSD card support), USB Type-C at the bottom, and stereo speakers that deliver punchy sound. The front is dominated by a stunning curved display with ultra-slim bezels, lending the phone an immersive look. And yes, Realme didn't skimp on durability, there's IP69 dust and water resistance. In comparison, the 14 Pro+ felt slightly thicker (7.73mm vs. 7.69mm) and heavier, making the 15 Pro more ergonomic of the two. Display The Realme 15 Pro comes with a 6.78 inch flexible AMOLED panel. The 1.5K resolution (2800x1280) ensures razor-sharp visuals, while the 144 Hz adaptive refresh rate delivers buttery-smooth transitions whether you're gaming or scrolling Instagram. What truly makes this panel stand out, however, is its insane peak brightness of 6,500 nits, a figure that puts it ahead of the Realme 14 Pro+ (1,500 nits), iQOO Neo 10R (4,500 nits), and even Nothing 3a Pro (3,000 nits). (For top technology news of the day, subscribe to our tech newsletter Today's Cache) Despite being a curved screen, the hinge design and curvature are so refined that screen reflections are minimal, and there are no visible creases even when viewed from extreme angles. With HDR10+ certification, 10-bit colour depth, and 100% DCI-P3 coverage, the display is a treat for binge-watchers and mobile gamers alike. Whether under direct sunlight or in bed with the lights off, this screen doesn't falter. OS & AI Realme 15 Pro runs on UI 6.0 based on Android 15, offering a refreshed UI that's functional and fluid. While some pre-installed bloatware still lingers, something we also noticed on the 14 Pro+, you can uninstall most third-party apps to clean things up. New features include customisable app refresh rates, sleep mode, and screen colour temperature adjustment, giving users more control over their experience. What truly differentiates this device is its AI-powered suite, led by AI Edit Genie and AI Party Mode. The former helps edit images intelligently (perfect for influencers), while the latter adds custom glowing light effects and watermarks to party shots, giving them an edge over social media competitors. Compared to the AI Snap Mode and MagicGlow 1.0 on the 14 Pro+, these new tools feel more refined and purposeful. Performance The latest Realme 15 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, an improvement over the 7s Gen 3 found in the 14 Pro+ and Nothing 3a Pro. The 4nm-based chip delivers snappy, efficient performance. Paired with 12 GB RAM and 256 GB UFS 3.1 storage, it handles multitasking like a breeze. On Geekbench, it scored 1162 (single-core), 3548 (multi-core), and 4569 in the GPU score. Gaming is where the phone truly shines. Titles like BGMI, Call of Duty: Mobile ran smoothly without any noticeable frame drops. Thanks to the upgraded composite copper foil, VC vapor chamber and graphene cooling system, the device barely heated up even after 45 minutes of continuous gameplay. The 15 Pro feels responsive in daily usage, app launches are instant, animations fluid and even AI-based features execute without lag. Whether you're a gamer, multitasker, or a power user, the performance package here checks all the boxes. Camera Realme is clearly doubling down on camera performance, and the 15 Pro is proof. It features a dual 50 MP rear setup (with Sony IMX896 sensor and 2-axis OIS) and a 50 MP front camera, all capable of recording up to 4K at 60fps. Daylight images come out sharp with natural colours and excellent contrast. The Sony IMX896 sensor captures detailed textures, and the dynamic range is wide enough to handle harsh lighting. Compared to the iQOO Neo 10R and Nothing 3a Pro, the Realme 15 Pro's colour science leans toward realism rather than boosted saturation. Portrait shots are particularly impressive, with clean edge detection and pleasing background blur. Night photography benefits from AI MagicGlow 2.0, which minimises noise while retaining detail. Even without a dedicated telephoto or ultra-wide sensor, the phone delivers usable zoomed shots up to 20x digital, although anything above 10x starts to lose clarity. The MagicGlow dual-tone LED flash assists well in low light portraits, especially for capturing natural skin tones. On the selfie front, the 50 MP front shooter is a powerhouse. With eye-tracking autofocus, dual-video support, and beauty mode, it's built for vloggers and content creators. Whether in daylight or dim indoor settings, selfies were consistently sharp, well-exposed, and ready for Instagram. Battery The headline feature in 15 Pro is undoubtedly the 7,000 mAh battery, a first in such a slim form factor. Realme claims it to be the 'slimmest 7,000 mAh smartphone', and after days of testing, that claim holds water. On moderate usage, the phone easily lasted a day and a half without begging for a charger. Charging is handled by an 80 W SuperVOOC system, which takes the phone from 0 to 100% in about 60 minutes. The Realme 15 Pro also supports 10 W reverse wired charging, adding a layer of utility that many competitors skip. Verdict Starting at ₹31,999, the Realme 15 Pro cements itself as a well-rounded powerhouse. It improves upon its predecessor with a more efficient processor, brighter display, better camera software and a much larger battery. From performance to AI smarts, from design polish to everyday usability, this phone ticks all the boxes. While the iQOO Neo 10 might still hold the edge in sheer GPU muscle and the Nothing 3a Pro scores high on design uniqueness, the Realme 15 Pro delivers a balanced, practical package with genuine innovation where it counts. For users asking whether this is a worthy successor to the 14 Pro+ and a viable alternative to other 30K segment players, the answer is a confident yes.
