The tornado caused significant damage to Steve Agee's home, tearing off part of the roof.
Despite the destruction, no one was hurt.
'A lot of racket in the back. So I was like, 'Oh, I need to put my awnings down on my gazebo,'' Agee said.
Agee and his wife were listening to the rain when they heard a strange noise.
'Here comes something flying through the air. Realized later it was a trampoline,' he said.

After closing the door, the family heard a boom and lost power as they headed to the basement for safety.
'Got to the first step, it was completely quiet, just like dead silence,' Agee said. 'I was like 'well, that's passed.''
When he opened his front door, Agee saw that part of his roof was missing.
The wind lifted it and caused damage to the ceilings in three rooms.
He said in the 13 years he had never experienced a tornado here. He was surprised by the help they received.
'I had never seen that much of a reach out that quick in any community,' Agee said.
Agee said he is hoping to get a metal roof put on to prevent this from happening again.
We will continue to follow this story.

The National Weather Service has confirmed that a tornado touched down in Deckerville, Michigan, on Saturday, marking the state's 30th in 2025. Michigan's 29th tornado of the year touched down in Macomb County on June 18 and had a preliminary rating of EF-0. Heat is on the way for Southeast Michigan with forecasted highs in the low 90s on Sunday and Monday.

Colorado heat wave expected for several more days before cooldown

The heat impacting Colorado will continue for two more days before some slight relief arrives on Tuesday. Sunday will top out in the upper 90s across the Front Range. The record for the day is 98 degrees, set back in 1964. Monday could be another day of record-tying or breaking heat. The current record is 100 degrees. Several towns and cities on the Eastern Plains are expected to see triple-digit heat both Sunday and Monday. Tuesday, some slight relief arrives, and temperatures will return to normal for this time of year. Overnight Tuesday, a front will drop into the state, dropping temperatures into the 80s and upper 70s. The biggest change we will see is rain showers across the state. Some of the rain could be heavy at times, and localized flooding is possible. The rain is highly needed for the western half of the state, where high fire danger and drought continue.
