Who is Elsie Hewitt? Pete Davidson and model expecting first child together

7NEWS17-07-2025
Pete Davidson has dated some of the most sought-after women in the world, leaving behind a trail of exes that includes Kim Kardashian, Ariana Grande and Emily Ratajkowski.
But after announcing he's expecting his first child with girlfriend Elsie Hewitt, exactly who is the woman poised to convince the serial dater to finally settle down?
Let's start with the couple's pregnancy pics.
Posting a carousel of candid photos to her Instagram feed on Wednesday, Hewitt, 29, revealed she and the former Saturday Night Live alum were much more than just a fling.
'Welp now everyone knows we had sex,' she captioned the post, which included an ultrasound of the couple's unborn child, a shirtless Davidson embracing the covered stomach, and several other glimpses into the couple's relationship.
A quick peruse of the high profile well-wishers suggests she mixes with models, influencers, and creatives — all of which describe her own carefree yet carefully-curated content.
The New Yorker, who was born in London, is regularly seen flaunting her enviable figure in beachy photo shoots and travel jaunts that fall conveniently between her podcast and TV appearances.
Named Playboy's Miss June in 2017, and with several big-name fashion collaborations under her belt, Hewitt has been quietly building her own brand since she was just 15.
As it turns out, you don't have to eat like a model to look like one, or so it may seem, with Hewitt's side hustle as a 'food influencer' underscored by the 65k followers across her Elsie Eats accounts.
That's to go with the one million she boasts on her personal Instagram page, which is only set to grow as she and Davidson undoubtedly surge towards 'power couple' status.
So when did the pair actually start dating?
In March 2025, a source told Page Six that Davidson 31, had met someone 'very different from anybody else he's ever dated before'.
Hewitt was described as a 'non-celebrity' who made him 'very happy' following his split from actress Madelyne Cline last year.
The pair soon soft-launched their relationship online, and were even spotted French kissing in the Florida surf as they made little effort to mask their burgeoning romance.
In May, Hewitt gushingly told People Magazine that 'everyone deserves a Pete!'
'He is so incredible. Honestly, best person I've ever met, and I'm so grateful ...' she said.
Their first red carpet appearance as a couple followed at the Blossom Ball in New York on May 15, with the pair believed to have been living in NYC together for several months.
While Davidson's dating history has been far more publicised, his soon-to-be baby mama has also been linked to high-profile exes in Jason Sudeikis, Ryan Phillipe, and record producer Benny Blanco, who is now engaged to Selena Gomez.
Leaning further into her acting tool bag of late, Hewitt recently shot scenes alongside Blanco in the TV show Dave, based somewhat on the life of rapper Lil Dicky.
With her star on the rise, and a smitten Davidson by her side, expect to see much more of Elsie Hewitt on your screens and magazines.
Or will that be... Mrs Davidson?

Bob Odenkirk admits to being 'too hard' on Saturday Night Live

Bob Odenkirk "had a lot of attitude" when he joined Saturday Night Live. The 62-year-old star served as a writer on the long-running TV comedy series between 1987 and 1991, but Bob admits that his attitude towards the show has evolved over time. He told Entertainment Weekly: "I was too hard on the show. "I had a lot of attitude when I got hired there, like, 'This show could be better, this show could be Monty Python, this should be more cutting edge, this should be more dangerous.' And I was frustrated by it not representing purely my point of view. I wanted it to be me, my show." Bob now realises that his ambitions were unrealistic. He said: "It's not my show! It's a show that is shared by everyone who's in that cast, and everyone who's in that writing staff, and it's shared by generations, and not one generation. "Everybody in America watches it, and it's a reference point for everyone. I think the 50th just made me more aware [than] ever of the amazing work that's been done there." Bob's attitude towards Saturday Night Live has changed as he's aged, with the actor now more aware of what is and isn't possible. He said: "It's a bigger challenge than I thought it was when I worked there. "When I worked there I was 25, I was like, 'C'mon, dammit! We can do better! This is easy!' And it literally was the years since I've left that I went, 'Wait a second, that show is almost impossible to do at all.'" Bob would actually love to host the TV show one day. He shared: "I would love that opportunity. I have mad respect for the effort of that show, and I would dream of being able to host." Bob has already spoken to Saturday Night Live bosses about hosting the show, and he remains on friendly terms with the cast and crew. The actor said: "There's been conversation about it. They don't have me locked out. I'm friends with everybody there, and I know so many of the writers, and I know so many of the actors. It's just part of my life."

Derek Hough, from Dancing With The Stars, expecting first child

Bindi Irwin's Dancing With The Stars partner has announced he is expecting his first child. Professional dancer Derek Hough, 40, announced earlier this week that his wife Hayley Erbert Hough was pregnant in a video on Instagram. 'We can't believe the biggest thing to happen to us could be so small,' the caption read. In another post showing the couple holding ultrasound pictures, Derek said: 'Already so loved'. Hough won Dancing With The Stars alongside celebrity partner Bindi Irwin in 2015. Irwin congratulated the pair on their exciting news. 'Congratulations!!!!! Hugs from our entire family,' she said. Following in his sister's footsteps, Robert Irwin announced in April that he would also be putting on his dancing shoes and joining the show. 'Bindi, thank you for inspiring me to take on this next adventure. Dancing With The Stars, I'm so grateful for the life-changing experience ahead,' he said at the time. Hough was on Dancing With The Stars from 2007 to 2016, winning the show six times with his partners. His sister is actor and dancer Julianne Hough, who also appeared on the TV show for five seasons.

Dan Aykroyd watched Saturday Night Live special at home

Dan Aykroyd missed the Saturday Night Live 50th anniversary special because he wanted to watch the show from home. The 73-year-old star was a notable absentee from the anniversary special, but Dan still watched the show and he remains a huge fan of Saturday Night Live. Dan - who starred on the long-running comedy show between 1975 and 1979 - told Entertainment Weekly: "I wanted to be at home and I wanted to watch the show beginning to end. "I knew if I was there, I'd be in a dressing room, I'd be working. I wanted to see it live. I'm a fan of the show today, and I watch it all the time. "I love these new players; I think they're just great. I just wanted to see and live nostalgically with my family in my own home, eating my own popcorn." Meanwhile, Molly Shannon recently tipped Kenan Thompson to replace Lorne Michaels on Saturday Night Live. The TV comedy show was created by Lorne, 80, in the mid-70s, and Molly thinks he's done a remarkable job with Saturday Night Live. Molly, 60 - who was a cast member on Saturday Night Live from 1995 until 2001 - told People: "It's his show, his vision. "There's no one who could replace him. It would not be the same show. He's just a one-of-a-kind genius. Brilliant. Smart." Despite this, Molly believes that Kenan - who has been a cast member on Saturday Night Live since 2003 - could potentially replace Lorne as the showrunner one day. She said: "I love this idea. He's the greatest — I adore Kenan. "[Kenan is] so talented. That's an excellent idea." Kenan is widely seen as a central part of the Saturday Night Live cast - but he previously played down his own importance to the show. He told NPR: "I'm tough with self-praise, I guess, but I am definitely an ensemble-minded individual. And if that echoes across, you know, in a way that people want to consider me as a glue, great, you know? "But I just try to go out there and do my job and, you know, give showcase to these brilliant writers and brilliant minds and all of our departments - makeup and hair and directors and this, that and the other. You know what I mean?"
