I very hesitantly ask... is Marcus Semien back?

Against the Cardinals, Semien went seven for eight with three walks and a homer.
It had been obvious, and Bruce Bochy pointed it out too, Semien's slump was not for lack of trying. It was very clear he was trying, too hard. He was reaching for pitches clearly trying to go the other way, doing almost anything to break the slump. Clearly he got stuck in his head.
Going four for four in the opening game of the Cardinals series felt like a sigh of relief, for the fans, Semien, and Bochy.
Next on the list to get out of their own head? Adolis Garcia.
He did not play at all in the weekend series against St. Louis and was not in the lineup on Tuesday opening in Tampa. That is six days of rest, which I understood a few mental days, six days has me wondering if it's potentially something more?

Overall, I think Garcia has improved on his offense and defense from last season. Granted the offensive numbers don't necessarily show that but he seems to be a little more patient at the plate and seeing pitches just a tad better, trying to go the other way, and striking out a lot less.
Obviously his defense has improved tremendously with the amount of highight plays he has made thus far.
Corey Seager is once again back from an IL stint and hopefully that hamstring is nice and rested and gives no other issues. The lineup is just much stronger with him
Nathan Eovaldi has been moved to the injured list with tricep tightness, which seems to not be a huge concern which is excellent news for a team that is still heavily relying on their starting rotation.

ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) — Josh Smith homered and scored all three Texas runs in his fifth consecutive two-hit game to help the Rangers beat the Chicago White Sox 3-1 on Friday night. The leadoff hitter had a single in the first and scored on Corey Seager's sacrifice fly. Smith's seventh homer was a 396-foot drive to right-center in the third, then he walked ahead of Marcus Semien's RBI double that made it 3-0 in the fifth. Smith was 2 for 3 with a walk and is hitting .435 (10 for 23) during a career-best streak of five multihit games. Jacob Webb (4-3), the second of seven pitchers in a bullpen game for the Rangers, worked two innings for the victory as they won for the fifth time in six games. Robert Garcia loaded the bases in the ninth before closing out his fifth save in seven chances. White Sox starter Adrian Houser (2-2) allowed three runs and six hits over five innings. He struck out two and walked four. Shawn Armstrong started for Texas and struck out five while retiring all nine batters the first three innings. His season highs before Friday were seven batters faced and three strikeouts. Luis Robert was the first White Sox hitter to reach base, on an infield single with two outs in the fifth when he was initially called out before a replay challenge. He also had an RBI double in the seventh. Key moment The White Sox had a run in and two on in the seventh when Texas reliever Chris Martin retired the only two batters he faced. Key stat Seager is 4 for 45 (.089) with 15 strikeouts in 13 games since returning from the injured list May 28. But he has drawn a walk in a career-best eight games in a row after two more free passes. Altuve and Melton each have 3 RBIs as Astros beat Twins 10-3
HOUSTON (AP) — Jose Altuve and rookie Jacob Melton drove in three runs each as the Houston Astros jumped on Chris Paddack early and cruised to a 10-3 win over the Minnesota Twins on Friday night. Paddack (2-6) tied career highs by allowing 12 hits and nine runs — eight earned — in just four innings for his third straight loss. Houston rookie starter Colton Gordon (2-1) gave up six hits and two runs with five strikeouts in a career-high six innings. Jeremy Peña tied a season-high with four hits and rookie Cam Smith had two hits and two RBIs as the AL West-leading Astros won their third straight. Willi Castro, Royce Lewis and Ty France all hit solo homers for the Twins, who were blown out for the third time in four games after losing to Texas 16-4 Tuesday and 16-3 Thursday. Lewis, who missed the start of the season with a hamstring strain, pulled up as he was running to first base on a single in the ninth inning and was replaced by a pinch-runner. There was no immediate word on his injury. The Astros got to work early in this one. The bases were loaded with two outs in the first when Smith hit a two-run single to center field to make it 2-0. Melton followed with a single to right field to drive in another run. There were runners on first and third with one out in the second when Altuve's double scored two to make it 5-0. The Twins loaded the bases with two outs in the third but Carlos Correa grounded out to end the threat. Melton hit a two-run triple with no outs in the bottom of the inning to push the lead to 7-0. A sacrifice fly by Mauricio Dubón made it 8-0. The Twins got on the board with Castro's two-out homer in the fourth inning. Altuve homered to left-center to start the bottom of the inning and make it 9-1. Key moment Smith's two-RBI single in the first that gave Houston the lead for good.
