Hyundai's 'beast of a machine' lawn mower sees £45 price cut
A highly-rated Hyundai lawnmower has been reduced on Amazon, taking the price to £94.99, down from £139.99. Reviewers describe Hyundai's Electric Lawn Mower as a 'beast of a machine', with many praising its effectiveness and ease of use.
It is built with a 38cm cutting width with grass combs for a close, tidy finish along walls and pathways. The gardening device also has a 40-litre quick-release grass box, a 10-metre power cable, a rear roller for a professional striped look, and a mulching function to naturally fertilize a lawn.
Hyundai's Electric Lawn Mower also has five height settings (from 20mm to 70mm) and a single lever for lawn customisation. It also has a foldable handle and a collapsible grass bag for minimal storage space.
The Electric Lawn Mower has more than 3,500 reviews and ratings on Amazon. One person said: "What a beast of a machine this is!" The same customer also noted a drawback, adding: "Only slight problem you still need to rake up as grass collector not 100% efficient."
Another user described it as a 'great mower', adding: "Used on long wet grass - no problem. Beasted through it. Lightweight, easily adjustable, cuts effortlessly and collects grass properly - unlike my previous nightmare mower. 12-meter cable, nice and long."
The same buyer continues: "Doesn't leave a mess behind. Compact for storage, foldable. The grass compartment/box is small-ish; it would be nice if it were a bit bigger. Assembly is simple, but not easy to understand (the) booklet. Just YouTube the model, and you'll find a video tutorial."
Prospective buyers concerned about the size of the grass box can choose from a variety of other options. For instance, Spear & Jackson's Corded Rotary Lawnmower (now £125, was £155) has a 50-litre grass collection box, seven cutting heights, and a 12-metre cable.
Homeowners with exceptionally large gardens might want to opt for this 60-litre collection capacity lawnmower from Mountfield, £299. However, this option is powered by petrol, which might be off-putting for some consumers.
Another lawn mower alternative is this Bosch Professional Cordless Lawn Mower, which is not powered by petrol. It has a 60-litre fabric grass collector and is designed for maintaining larger lawns.
Returning to the Amazon reviews on Hyundai's model, another person said: "This is the best value for money mower I've ever bought. It's light and easy to use.
"The collection bin is a decent size and an option for different length cuts. It is a cable-attach situation."

I am blown away! A really solid battery life as usual from Fitbit and lots of tracking features too! "Love the new workouts and Google Maps, and the obsidian black colour looks great. Car Deal of the Day: Hyundai Ioniq 6 offers sci-fi styling for under £250 a month
Eye-catching looks Good range £247.98 a month There aren't many family saloons out there that will match the Hyundai Ioniq 6 for its head-turning ability, but as with the Ioniq 5 which it sits alongside, it manages to combine great looks, driveability, efficiency and technology. And thanks to this deal we found on the Auto Express Find A Car service via Carparison, you can now add value into the mix, too. Based on a two-year agreement, this deal requires an initial deposit of £3,274 followed by monthly payments of just £247.98. There's a maximum mileage limit of 5,000, but you can extend this to 8,000, which would increase the monthly payments to £266. Advertisement - Article continues below Sitting on the same platform and using the same 77kWh battery as the Ioniq 5, the Ioniq 6 comes with some very impressive numbers. Range stands at a respectable 339 miles and thanks to its 800V architecture, a 350kW ultra-rapid charger would see a 10 to 80 per cent top-up in just 18 minutes. Then there's the design: the Ioniq 6 demands attention whether you're looking from the inside or out. While it might resemble something from a sci-fi film, it's easy to drive thanks to light steering and a quiet cabin. With the right combination of sound quality, comfort, and smart features, some models stand out, especially when there's a significant discount involved. Sony's high-performance over-ear headphones have received a major discount, with many reviewers describing them as 'amazing' and even calling them the 'best ever'. The Sony ULT WEAR Over Ear Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones are now available on Amazon for £99, down from their original retail price of £179, a saving of 45%. Finished in black, the headphones offer a premium listening experience packed with features including deep bass, advanced noise cancellation, and up to 30 hours of battery life. The headphones are powered by Sony's Integrated Processor V1 and 40mm driver units, designed to deliver what the company calls 'ULT POWER SOUND'. Users can adjust the bass through a dedicated button, which activates two sound modes: Deep Bass for extra low-end punch and Attack Bass for added energy. The result is a powerful, customisable sound profile particularly suited to bass lovers. Noise cancelling is handled by Sony's adaptive technology, with an ambient sound mode available for those who prefer to stay aware of their surroundings. For calls, the headphones use beam-forming microphones and precise voice pickup technology to ensure clear audio, even in noisy environments. Other features include multi-point Bluetooth pairing, support for Google Assistant and Alexa, and quick charging, with 1.5 hours of playback from just a three-minute top-up. The headphones are compatible with iOS and Android and come with a compact carry case. For those who want alternatives, Sennheiser's ACCENTUM Plus Wireless Headphones are currently £139, down from £199.99, while Soundcore's Space One model is £62.99 and offers adaptive noise cancelling and 40-hour battery life. Others praised the headset's premium feel, with one review stating: 'Extremely high value for money. The build quality is absolutely amazing and they come with so many features. Noise cancelling is absolutely fantastic.' However, a few users expressed concerns. One reviewer reported a crack forming on the side of the headphones after six months of regular use, suggesting they may not be the best choice for gym wear. Another wrote: 'Too much bass and not enough soundstage. Good noise cancelling and comfort, but not great for hearing background instruments.' The Sony ULT WEAR is currently available for £99 on Amazon, reduced from £179.
