Four arrested on second night of TRNSMT including one in 'possession of knife'
Four people have been arrested on the second night of TRNSMT - including one person who allegedly brought a knife to the Glasgow festival.
Cops confirmed that the revellers were apprehended in connection with various offences in and around the area of Glasgow Green following the event's second night on Saturday.
The offences included breach of the peace, possession of a knife, drugs offence and breaching curfew.
A statement from Police Scotland reads: "Four people were arrested following the second night of a festival at Glasgow Green on Saturday, 12 July, 2025.
"The offences included breach of the peace, possession of a knife, drugs offence and breaching curfew.
Seven were arrested and charged following the music event's opening night on Friday. The offences included police assault, assault, hate crime and outstanding warrants. One man was charged under suspicion of terror offences outside the festival.
The man, 55, was arrested for wearing a T-shirt allegedly showing support for the proscribed group Palestine Action.
The activist had allegedly been leafleting near TRNSMT festival, in Glasgow, when police charged him.
He was also alleged to be wearing a T-shirt from the Scottish Palestine Solidarity Campaign (SPSC) which read: 'Genocide in Palestine. Time to take action.' Police are understood to have confiscated the top.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: 'A 55-year-old man was charged in connection with an offence under the Terrorism Act for wearing a T-shirt expressing support for a proscribed organisation.
"A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."

Police appeal after woman assaulted and dog stolen in Highland robbery
Police are appealing for information after a woman was assaulted and had her French bulldog stolen in a robbery at her Highlands home. The 37-year-old victim was attacked at a property in Macrae Crescent, Dingwall, at about 4.40pm on Saturday before the dog was taken, Police Scotland said. The suspect is described as a white woman in her 50s with dark, shoulder-length hair. Last sighting of missing Renfrew pensioner revealed
Officers in Renfrewshire are continuing to search for Henry Nicol. We reported how cops initially said the 76-year-old was last seen shortly after 8am on Saturday, July 12, on Dee Avenue in Renfrew. However, it has now been revealed that the OAP was last seen at around 7.50pm on Friday, July 11, in the Dee Avenue area. He is described as being 5ft 9 inches tall, of medium build, clean shaven or with light stubble, with grey/white hair.
