Justin Baldoni's 'It Ends With Us' body double is sharing insight into his experience working on the film.
Thomas Canestraro alleged that there was a 'tense' atmosphere on the set of Baldoni and Blake Lively's 2024 movie.
'There was some discomfort from everybody,' he claimed to the Daily Mail in an interview published Sunday.

Canestraro said that he was supposed to be on set in New Jersey for only five days, but due to production issues, he was there for two weeks.
The stunt double further claimed that Lively — who is suing Baldoni for alleged sexual harassment — appeared 'closed off' during the final weeks of filming in early 2024.
He explained that he 'had an extremely easy time' working with Lively, 37, on 2018's 'A Simple Favor,' but he noticed that her behavior changed when they shot 'It Ends With Us.'

Additionally, Canestraro noted that while he thought it was 'cool' that Lively's husband, Ryan Reynolds, came to the set, he realizes the 'Deadpool' actor's visits may have been connected to Lively's emotional state at the time.
A source close to Lively told TMZ that it shouldn't be surprising she was 'closed off' given the sexual harassment allegations she made against Baldoni, 41.

Canestraro told the Daily Mail that Baldoni, who also directed the film, was 'extremely friendly' on the set, but they haven't stayed in touch.
The Post has reached out to reps for Baldoni and Lively for comment.

'It Ends With Us,' which came out last summer, and is based on a novel by Colleen Hoover, is about a domestic violence relationship between Baldoni and Lively's characters.
In December, Lively filed a lawsuit alleging that Baldoni sexually harassed her during filming. She also accused him of 'a coordinated effort to destroy her reputation' after the movie was released.
The 'Café Society' actress said the alleged smear campaign caused harm to her business and led to her family experiencing 'severe emotional distress.'

Baldoni denied the allegations and countersued Lively and Reynolds, 48, for $400 million over alleged defamation and extortion.
In her lawsuit, Lively alleged Baldoni improvised kissing scenes and wanted to add sex scenes to the film. In his countersuit, Baldoni alleged that Lively agreed to shoot their intimate scenes without meeting with an intimacy coordinator beforehand.
The 'Jane the Virgin' actor also released raw footage of a dancing scene wherein Lively claimed that Baldoni made her feel uncomfortable. Baldoni denied Lively's claims and accused the 'Gossip Girl' alum of trying to take over the direction of the scene.

Taylor Swift was subpoenaed as a witness by Baldoni's legal team amid the court battle, but his side dropped the subpoena in a bombshell move late last month. A spokesperson for Lively told The Post they were 'pleased that Justin Baldoni and the Wayfarer Parties have withdrawn their harassing subpoenas to Taylor Swift and her law firm.'
'We supported the efforts of Taylor's team to quash these inappropriate subpoenas directed to her counsel,' they told The Post, 'and we will continue to stand up for any third party who is unjustly harassed or threatened in the process.'
'The Baldoni and Wayfarer team have tried to put Taylor Swift, a woman who has been an inspiration for tens of millions across the globe, at the center of this case since day one,' the spokesperson added.

In response to the original subpoena filing, a representative for Swift, 35, said, 'Taylor Swift never set foot on the set of this movie, she was not involved in any casting or creative decisions, she did not score the film, she never saw an edit or made any notes on the film, she did not even see 'It Ends With Us' until weeks after its public release, and was traveling around the globe during 2023 and 2024 headlining the biggest tour in history.'
Lively and Baldoni's ongoing legal battle is heading to trial in March 2026.
Lively's lawyer confirmed she will testify.

Larsa Pippen details ‘draining' Marcus Jordan relationship: ‘Thank God made it out'
Larsa Pippen's last relationship threw her for a hoop. The 'Real Housewives of Miami' star, 50, and her ex-boyfriend Marcus Jordan were together for two years before going their separate ways in July 2024. Although the exes had broken up once before, this last split was for good — and for the betterment of Pippen. 'I honestly didn't date for like a year,' the mom-of-four confessed exclusively to The Post ahead of the show's Season 7 premiere on Wednesday. 'I just worked on I worked on my businesses. I was really spending time with my kids, my friends. I really did not want to date anyone just because I feel like my relationship was so public. Now, the influencer has found her other half in basketball star Jeff Coby — but she plays coy on if he will show up on future episodes. 'You know, I feel like if you date me, you kind of don't have a choice because I do film a lot,' Pippen teased to The Post. 'I do feel like he's open to it. We haven't really had that conversation — what type of role he would play if it would be big or small. It wasn't something that I was looking for,' she explained. 'I don't think he was looking to be in a relationship and it just kind of evolved to what it is now.' Her projects will play out on the upcoming season — along with the hardships of breaking up with a long term partner. 'I feel like this season was very emotional for me,' she stressed. 'I feel I'm normally not so emotional and I don't really share my downfalls sometimes or my darkest times. I feel like I'm more to share all the good things that I have going on more so than the negative things. But I feel this season I really relied on my friends. I feel that I really needed them. It was a hard time for me. I think when you are in a relationship and your kids are a part of it and it doesn't work out, it's just hard. 'On our show, because we've been friends and we're friends in real life, we see each other, we hang out all the time. It's like you could almost do anything to each other and be apologetic,' she continued. 'It's almost like your sister where you're gonna make up with the person. We have downfalls and we have problems, but at the end of the day, we really love each other. We come back.' Although not everyone had the dating app co-founder's back during her split from Jordan. 'I feel like when people break up, it's kind of a hard situation. I never want to be in a situation where I speak negatively about someone that was in my past. It's not a good feeling for me. I don't like to bash someone that I'm not with anymore. I feel when I break up with someone, it's like, I wish you nothing but the best. 'It was hard for me to move on because Lisa [Hochstein] kept bringing that person back into my sphere. That part was hard because I feel like when you're breaking up with someone, it's definitely better for your mental [health] to cut all ties, move forward and not have the person in your sphere. But when your friend is literally making it really hard for you — it was tough. I didn't want to show all the negative aspects of my previous relationship because of course there were good things. But I wasn't happy with how I couldn't just move on. I couldn't just cut the ties and move on.' 'I feel like when I don't get that reciprocated, it's hurtful. When you need someone and they're not there for you the same way, [and] you've been there for them for so long, it makes you feel bad.' As relationships ebb and flow in Pippen's life, co-parenting with her ex-husband, Scottie Pippen, is at an all-time high. 'We're friends, we've always been friends,' she said. 'I feel like we have a great relationship. We talk about our kids, what benefits our kids, what's best for our kids. We don't really talk about our personal lives. 'I have a couple of kids that are athletes and they don't want the limelight. The only attention they want is on the basketball court. And I have to respect that. I let them shine where they want to shine. And I've a couple kids that don't mind being on camera. Viewership For ‘And Just Like That' Is Down Again In Season 3

But viewership for the much-buzzed-about HBO Max program continues to fall. After the show saw sharp declines in season 2, season 3 has seen a much smaller but nonetheless notable drop, according to data crunched by Samba TV, a provider of TV technology for audience data and omniscreen measurement. It found that the season premiere of And Just Like That averaged 429,000 households during the live-plus-three-day viewership window. That's a decline of 7% from the season 2 premiere, which posted 463,000 households. Both season 3 and season 2 were off markedly from the series debut in December 2021, which drew 1.1 million households. Since then, consistent tune-in for the show has fallen by half. Samba found that Gen X households, those with adults ages 45-54, overindexed on viewership—they were 10% more likely than the average household to watch the show. This makes sense, as the stars of the program are themselves Gen Xers. And Just Like That is a sequel to the hugely popular series Sex and the City, which aired on HBO from 1998 to 2004. The show followed four then-single women and explored their sex lives, careers and friendships as they navigated New York City. The show became one of the pay cable network's signature hits. The series finale in February 2024 drew 10.6 million total viewers, according to Nielsen, making it HBO's second-most-watched show (behind mob drama smash The Sopranos). The program was pioneering in so many ways. In addition to talking frankly about women's sex lives, in a way no broadcast or basic cable show ever had, Sex and the City also became an Emmy favorite and catapulted series stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, Kristin Davis and Kim Cattrall. SATC became hugely popular among women 18-34, themselves just a bit younger than the series stars. The TV show spawned two movie spinoffs. Then, as a number of hit 1990s and 2000s shows began to make their way back to TV or streaming services, HBO greenlit an updated version of SATC, giving it an updated name (And Just Like That) that spoke to the new phase the women had entered with older children, aging parents and even, for one, widowhood. Parker, Nixon and Davis returned for the series. The show does remain a valuable property for HBO Max, as it draws a lot of attention and was one of its most high-profile launches of the past half-decade. And the streaming service did see a slight rebound in viewership for episode 2 of season 3, with 437,000 households watching—up 8,000 from episode 1. The bounce could indicate any number of things. It may be sustainable, it could reflect some people not getting a chance to watch the premiere within the live-three-day window, or it could be that this season is getting better buzz—controversial character Che, played by Sara Ramírez, was written out of season 3.
