M&S launches 3 chunky loaded cookies including viral pistachio flavour - we tried them, here's our verdict
Launching in M&S Food stores across the nation today are three new Chunked N'Loaded cookies - raspberry cheesecake, chocolate hazelnut and pistachio.
According to M&S' official Instagram, each cookie is: "Hand finished and baked daily, each bite reveals a delicious hidden centre and is LOADED with yumminess, crafted from an all-butter recipe using Wildfarmed flour, and topped with extra drizzles and delights - think melt in your mouth with a satisfyingly crisp and gooey bite!"
We tried all three earlier today and were very surprised by which one was our favourite. First up was the pistachio, which was loaded with pistachio nibs on top and a white chocolate drizzle, in the centre was a pistachio paste. We're big fans of pistachio flavours (it's literally everywhere this summer) but this cookie had more of a lemon flavour to it than a pistachio, leaving us quite disappointed.
Next up we tried the chocolate and hazelnut, which is meant to have a oozy chocolate centre however we found our one wasn't that gooey. It had a really nice strong hazelnut flavour and wasn't too sweet which we liked.
And finally we tried the raspberry cheesecake which had a strong raspberry flavour combined with the cheesecakey filling.
Easily our favourite one was the chocolate and hazelnut, with the raspberry cheesecake coming in a close second.
Overall the cookies are very different to the OG M&S cookies which are much thinner and chewier, whereas these new cookies have a denser crumblier texture to them.
They come in solo packages and so they're great for grabbing on the go, but at £2.50 per individual cookie, we'd probably pick the traditional five pack of cookies for value for money next time.

Margot Robbie May Be Our New Attacking 50 Foot Woman
In 2024, we learned Tim Burton was being eyed to direct a remake of Attack of the 50 Foot Woman for Warner Bros. from a script by Gillian Flynn. Now, the director may have found his lead in fellow WB alum Margot Robbie. Per Variety, the Barbie actress is in 'early conversations' to headline the film, which tells the story of a wealthy heiress who becomes giant-sized after meeting an alien. Her next move, upon realizing her new stature, is to enact some payback on her cheating husband. Should she take on the role, Robbie will also produce the film through her production company LuckyChap. The remake would also reunite Warner Bros. with Robbie and Burton after Barbie and Beetlejuice Beetlejuice hit big for the studio in 2023 and 2024. The original Attack of the 50 Foot Woman released in 1958 by director Nathan Hertz, and Hollywood has thought about remaking it several times over the decades. Only one actually came to fruition—a TV version for HBO in 1993 from Christopher Guest starring Darryl Hannah—but the concept has been parodied or referenced by filmmakers and pop artists like Beyonce and Lana Del Ray. (For the millennials, Dreamworks' Monsters vs. Aliens had a giant woman named Ginormica who was 49'11.) We'll have more information on this Attack of the 50 Ft. Woman remake as it comes out. Margot Robbie in talks to star in remake of 1950s classic Attack of the Fifty Foot Woman
Margot Robbie is in discussions to star in Tim Burton's remake of 1950s sci-fi classic, Attack of the 50 Foot Woman. News of the project broke last year, with Gone Girl writer Gillian Flynn reportedly eyed to write the film's script. However, she has since dropped out due to other commitments. Originally released in 1958, Attack of the 50 Foot Woman follows the story of a troubled and wealthy heiress Nancy Archer (Allison Hayes), who has an encounter with an alien that turns her into a giant. It was directed by Nathan Juran and also starred William Hudson and Yvette Vickers. Robbie is in talks to play the lead role in the new version, according to reports in Variety. However, her involvement will be dependent on the film's final script and writer. The new remake will be created for Warner Bros and could see Robbie produce the movie with her company LuckyChap, along with partners Tom Ackerley and Josey McNamara. The company has been behind some of the most talked-about and successful movies in recent years including Barbie (2023) and Saltburn (2023). The Independent has contacted Warner Bros and representatives of Robbie for comment. LuckyChap are also set to release Wuthering Heights, directed by Emerald Fennell, next year. Burton, known for his eccentric films and whimsical visuals, previously explored the 1950s sci-fi era in his 1996 comedy Mars Attacks!, which featured an all-star cast including Jack Nicholson, Glenn Close, Annette Bening, Pierce Brosnan, Danny DeVito, Martin Short, Sarah Jessica Parker and Michael J Fox. In 2023, Burton told The Independent that working on his Beetlejuice sequel had reignited his love for making movies. 'That's why it is hard for me to watch the movies afterwards, because I still feel the emotional whatever of it,' said Burton. 'I don't get a release from that. But I do enjoy all the people I've worked with. 'On this last one, Beetlejuice 2, I really enjoyed it. I tried to strip everything and go back to the basics of working with good people and actors and puppets. It was kind of like going back to why I liked making movies.'

‘Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake' Continues To Look Really Lovely
The upcoming Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake still continues to impress and look lovely in its latest trailer. While the Western version of the Nintendo Direct omitted any mention of Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake, the Japanese version covered the game quite a bit. Thankfully, Square Enix uploaded the trailer to their channel and in English, too. Unlike the Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake, this new instalment combines the first two games into one package. This makes sense, as the first two games were a lot shorter than the third game in the series. Moreover, Dragon Quest III was the narrative start of the original Erdrick trilogy, before Dragon Quest XI came along at least, and it makes sense storywise that the first two Dragon Quest games would follow the third for these remakes. It's also important to point out that in the first Dragon Quest, you only play as one character, that of Erdrick. Or, more accurately, the descendant that gets to use that name. FEATURED | Frase ByForbes™ Unscramble The Anagram To Reveal The Phrase Pinpoint By Linkedin Guess The Category Queens By Linkedin Crown Each Region Crossclimb By Linkedin Unlock A Trivia Ladder The second game includes more characters for your group, but the first Dragon Quest is a more solitary endeavor, and it will be interesting to see how that plays out in this new remake. I am also loving the very British voice acting and dialogue. It fit really well for the Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake, and this looks to be just as good, if not better. The other big news is that Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake will also be released on Switch 2, as well as the original Switch, which I think is great. Dragon Quest has a very Nintendo-specific heritage to it, and it just feels right that Nintendo's latest console would also be supported for a game like this. Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake will be released on October 30 for Switch, Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, via Steam. Follow me on X, Facebook and YouTube. I also manage Mecha Damashii and am currently featured in the Giant Robots exhibition currently touring Japan.
