Time of India21-05-2025

One of Them Days OTT Release Date: Los Angeles is a city of dreams, but in One of Them Days, it quickly turns into a nightmare. The buddy tragicomedy starring Keke Palmer and music sensation SZA is finally ready to make its OTT debut. After a successful theatrical run earlier this year, the film will be streaming on Netflix starting June 4, 2025. Here's everything you need to know!
What is One of Them Days all about?
Picture this: two broke best friends, one terrible boyfriend, and one very bad day. Keke Palmer plays Dreux, a struggling choreographer trying to make ends meet. SZA is Alyssa, a part-time nail artist with a sharp tongue and zero filter. Life is already chaotic when Alyssa's no-good boyfriend vanishes along with their rent money.
With just hours before eviction, the girls are thrown into a frantic race across Los Angeles to recover what's theirs. From dodging shady landlords and fighting off scammers to facing emotional meltdowns in gas station parking lots, Dreux and Alyssa's journey is wild, hilarious, and painfully real. Every misstep tests not just their friendship, but their sanity.
Meet the team behind One of Them Days
Directed by Lawrence Lamont and written by Syreeta Singleton, One of Them Days is powered by the creative vision of Issa Rae's production company Hoorae Media. The film boasts a supporting cast that includes Vanessa Bell Calloway, Lil Rel Howery, Katt Williams, and Maude Apatow. With a production budget of $14 million, the movie grossed over $51 million worldwide. It has been well-received by critics, earning a 93% positive rating on Rotten Tomatoes, with particular praise for the chemistry between Palmer and SZA.
So grab some popcorn, log into Netflix, and prepare to laugh, cringe, and maybe cry a little, because we've all had one of them days.
