Loved ones to gather for missing cop
Detective Inspector Jay Notaro went missing in March, with alarm bells raised after he failed to show up for work on March 25.
His car was found parked and unattended at the Broken Head Beach carpark in NSW's Northern Rivers region at some point the morning of March 25, while his surfboard was later found by someone walking along the beach about 500m north of where his car was found.
The surfboard was not damaged and the leg rope was fully in tact.

Reports have also since emerged Mr Notaro was a surfing buddy of Aussie actor Chris Hemsworth.
The search for Mr Notaro was called off after crews spent days looking for him.
His body was never found.
Inspector Notaro previously headed the Gold Coast Water Police before he was officer in charge at Coomera Police Station, Today reported.
He then moved to Ipswich as Detective Inspector.
Mr Notaro's uncle and former police officer Phil Notaro earlier said the situation had left a 'hole' in his family's lives that would 'never be filled', The Courier Mail reported.
'We are heartbroken,' he said.

A memorial is set to be held to celebrate Mr Notaro's life on May 16, more than two months after he went missing.
Blue Hope, a mental health support service for current and former police officers, shared details of the memorial to Facebook.
Inspector 'strong swimmer', experienced surfer
Inspector Zimmer earlier said conditions were 'calm' when Mr Notaro, who was a 'very strong swimmer' and experienced surfer, went missing.
'So he would be extremely capable of managing those conditions due to his experience, (he is an) extremely fit man as well,' Inspector Zimmer said.
'The inspector's also a very highly regarded and very well respected member of the Queensland Police Force — our thoughts are with his family and colleagues.
'The family of the inspector would like me to extend their gratitude and thanks to the emergency services and volunteers who have been part of this search operation.'

Investigations in California are continuing after a man allegedly bashed a woman unconscious during a concert at the Rose Bowl Stadium on Sunday. Footage has emerged of a man allegedly throwing punches at a helpless woman and her friends during a concert by Australian dance group, Rufus Du Sol, in Pasadena, California. Shelby Elston, 33, was preparing to watch the Aussie band perform, until the stranger attacked her. The unidentified man was seen throwing punches at Ms Elston, as another woman attempted to hold him back. She was with her fiance, Cain Webb, at the time. '(I'm) still trying to find the words to describe exactly what happened to us last night,' Ms Elston wrote on Facebook. She explained: 'As soon as we got into the venue … (we) grabbed a drink and sat down in our seats in the stands. 'The boys … went to the bathroom. When they came back, Cain accidentally knocked his drink over that was sitting next to my leg and splashed a little bit onto that man in front of us. 'We immediately apologised, but this man started screaming in our face that we did it on purpose. 'He ran off into the crowd leaving his girlfriend behind. 'We again apologised to her for the drink incident and left it at that.' However, 30 minutes later, the man returned fuming. Ms Elston said he got into her fiance's face, allegedly telling him he would 'kill him' if it happened again. 'That is the last thing I remember before waking up in the medical tent an hour later,' she wrote. 'This man PUNCHED ME IN THE FACE! I was completely knocked out and there was blood pouring from my face. He continued to attack Cain while Ralph attempted to block him from the hits.' The man ran off into the crowd and was not seen again. His identity has not yet been revealed, as Pasadena Police continue the investigation. Rufus Du Sol, consisting of Tyrone Lindqvist, Jon George and James Hunt, later released a statement on Instagram. 'Delivering moments for our fans to gather and celebrate safely is what we live for," the band wrote. 'We have been heartbroken to hear of the act of violence that took place during the opening act on Saturday. 'This type of behaviour is completely unacceptable anywhere and the fact that this happened at one of our shows was devastating to learn about.' Anyone with information should contact the Pasadena Police Department. Some LA concertgoers were left disappointed over the overcrowding of the show at Rose Bowl Stadium. 'Dangerously oversold venue with real potential for tragedy,' one commenter wrote. 'Amazing show, but a nightmare of a venue. Please look into the reviews of fans that felt unsafe in the stands and couldn't sit down for the entire show due to poor security conditions,' another added. 'Great performers but horrible experience!! Never ever would go back to Rose Bowl. Unorganised and unsafe! Got crushed in the tunnels and feared for my life. Traumatic experience !!!' a third said. Rufus Du Sol are currently on a world tour. They have finished their North American leg, following the horrible incident. The Grammy Award-winning band are set to tour Australia in November.

Netflix star's $10k offer for crash survivor
An Aussie reality television star offered the family of his paraplegic pilot $10,000 to help during his recovery in the wake of a catastrophic chopper crash, a court has been told. The mother of Sebastian Robinson has accused Netflix and Apple TV reality star Matt Wright of pressuring her 28-year-old son to manipulate flight records after the helicopter crash on February 28, 2022. Mr Robinson was the sole survivor after a Robinson R-44 crashed into a paperbark swamp over the King River, Arnhem Land during a crocodile egg collecting mission, killing his friend and 34-year-old father, Chris 'Willow' Wilson. Ms Chellingworth's diary included an entry on March 13 alleging it was Mr Wright who asked her to re-invoice the bill with less detail for her son's egg collecting season. 'Matt doesn't want days on his invoice, only monthly totals,' Ms Chellingworth wrote. She denied Mr Edwardson's accusations she forged that diary note and only filed the second invoice to Mr Wright 'in the hope that you might be able to claim workers' compensation under his insurance policy'.
