
Chivalrous Knight 3 begins 4th phase of well repairs in Gaza
In cooperation with the Coastal Municipalities Water Utility (CMWU), the project seeks to enhance the capacity of local municipalities to deliver water to Palestinian citizens. The initiative ensures the continuity of essential services such as water supply amidst the ongoing crisis.
Aiming to provide water to 700,000 people
The current phase of the project includes the repair of approximately 28 non-operational wells across various Gaza governorates. The goal is to provide water access to around 700,000 people, significantly improving their living conditions during this difficult period.
Support from UAE humanitarian organisations
Sharif Al-Nayrab, Media Director of Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 in Gaza, praised the efforts of UAE humanitarian organizations and charitable associations, including Sharjah Charity International, the Saqr Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi Foundation, and Dar Al Ber Society. Their continued support has been crucial in addressing the dire needs in Gaza.
Previous water-related projects
Mohammad Arbaei, Deputy Chairman of the Support Committee for Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 in Gaza, shared that this is the fourth water-related project under the initiative. The previous phases included distributing water tankers to thousands of citizens, drilling primitive wells along the southern coasts, and drilling submersible wells to improve water access for residents.
Impact of the initiative
Omar Shatat, Deputy Director General for Technical Affairs at CMWU, emphasized that this humanitarian initiative has been a lifeline for Gaza's population, with the fourth phase being one of the most impactful to date. The project continues to support all Gaza governorates, working to alleviate the hardships faced by residents and improve their access to vital services.

The UAE, in coordination with Jordan, has continued its humanitarian airdrop missions over Gaza under the 'Birds of Goodness' initiative. On Wednesday, July 30, the 57th airdrop was completed, marking the fourth consecutive day of operations, targeting hard-to-reach areas where ground access remains severely limited. These efforts are part of 'Operation Chivalrous Knight 3', reflecting the UAE's commitment to supporting the Palestinian people and easing the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. Since the start of the initiative, 3,775 tonnes of aid have been delivered via 196 aircraft. Alongside the airdrops, the UAE also sent 58 aid trucks into Gaza on Wednesday through multiple land crossings.
