A ONE-of-a-kind Mercedes G-Wagon once used by Dubai royalty is going under the hammer for a jaw-dropping £135,000.

The 2013 Mercedes-Benz G 500 turns heads with its fresh terracotta paint job and extravagant chestnut suede interior, complete with glossy walnut trim.
Packed with top-of-the-range features, it boasts heated seats, an electric sunroof, side steps, blind spot assistance, parking sensors and a reversing camera.
Under the bonnet, the beast houses a powerful 5.5-litre V8 engine, capable of hitting speeds up to 135mph, according to Luxury Auto News.
It's barely been driven too, clocking just 1,800 miles.
To protect the luxury finish from desert dust, the carpet was even fitted with a special leather overmat.
Originally delivered in Palladium Silver Metallic, the G-Wagon was later resprayed in a stunning terracotta shade to stand out even more.
The rare motor is being sold through Shift Online's Europe and Middle East auction, with bidding opening tomorrow and closing next Monday.
A spokesperson for RM Sotheby's, which is handling the sale, said: "With its stunning body colour and lavishly specified Chestnut leather interior, this G-Wagen presents an exciting opportunity to acquire a unique version of an iconic Mercedes-Benz model."

Walmart is selling a $80 dash cam for just $36, and shoppers say it's a ‘great bang for your buck'

Autoblog aims to feature only the best products and services. If you buy something via one of our links, we may earn a commission. As much as vehicles today have improved when it comes to safety, it goes without saying that the potential for collisions still remains. Since accidents can happen to even the most attentive of drivers, we recommend that everyone install a dash cam in their vehicle. Fortunately, one of Walmart's best sellers, the Nexpow T7J6 HD Dual Dash Cam, is currently marked down to $36 from its usual $80 list price. A dash cam (dashboard-mounted camera) is designed to capture footage through your windshield in the event of an incident. Drivers and insurance companies alike promote dash cams as a way to expedite claims when another vehicle is involved but no witness was present. In other words, it's your word against theirs, and a dash cam ensures the truth is documented on camera. Nexpow T7J6 HD Dual Dash Cam, $36 (was $80) at Walmart This one from Nexpow stands out because it features two cameras — front and rear — a rarity at this price point. While the front camera records in 1080p full HD with a wide-angle lens and an f/1.5 aperture, the rear camera captures video at 720p with an f/1.5-aperture lens. Both are equipped with an onboard G-sensor, which tells the camera to start recording automatically when a collision is detected. It also works as a 24-hour parking monitor. This deal is being offered exclusively online for a limited time. So, head to Walmart to grab the Nexprow T7J6 HD Dual Dash Cam while it's only $36! About the Author Gabe Carey View Profile

Disaster struck for the former F1 driver, 53, as he was competing in the Royal Rally of Scandinavia in Sweden. 4 Max Verstappen's father Jos suffered a nasty crash on Friday but emerged unscathed Credit: 4 Jos' rally car rolled after his rear wheels dipped in the gravel Credit: 4 He cracked the windscreen of his car and caused other damage, being forced to retire Credit: The rollover crash brought Jos and his navigator Renaud Jamoul's day to a halt earlier than expected last Friday. The pair started well - they were 18th overall and best out of the Master classification - but came unstuck on stage nine. Verstappen admitted they entered a corner "too quickly" before ending up in a ditch after their rear wheels dipped in the gravel. It caused the Skoda Fabia RS Rally 2 to do a 360, suffering damage in the process, with newly released video painting a grim picture. READ MORE SPORT NEWS NOW WE'RE BOTH POSH! Verstappen said: "I went a little bit too quick into the corner and then I missed the apex, the inside of the corner. "I was in the loose gravel, on full grass and I couldn't make the corner. Very easy to happen in this kind of rally. "It was a typical Sweden roll. I flipped it and I was back on the four wheels. Every crash should be a lesson. "I must say I really enjoyed it, the way of driving. Obviously these people from these countries they used to that, the only driving they do is on these kind of stages." Lewis Hamilton hit with grid penalty at Monaco Grand Prix after blunder saw him forced to apologise to Verstappen It was Verstappen Snr's third-ever start on an unfamiliar gravel surface. He didn't manage to travel to Barcelona to watch his son Max compete in the Spanish Grand Prix on Sunday. The Red Bull ace endured a weekend to forget after a 10-second penalty dropped him from P5 to P10, and a hefy 49 points behind championship leader Oscar Piastri. The 27-year-old also picked up three-penalty points after "deliberately" colliding with George Russell on Lap 61, when asked to let the Mercedes driver through after using an escape road. The punishment moves the Dutchman to 11 penalty points – one point away from a race ban.

Valtteri Bottas on Cadillac talks and 'plan B' which would involve shock switch

He returned to Mercedes after losing his Formula 1 race seat but Valtteri Bottas doesn't plan to stick around for long, eyeing a 2026 seat elsewhere – or possibly an F1 exit altogether Valtteri Bottas insists "I've got a good few years in me" as he eyes a return to the Formula 1 grid. The Finn, 35, lost his place on the grid last December after three years at Sauber, with new parent company Audi wanting to pick its own racers. So he returned to Mercedes, where he previously spent five years as Lewis Hamilton's team-mate and won 10 races, as a reserve. But Bottas is already fed up of being on the sidelines. "The first race was probably the hardest," he told Mirror Sport at the start of our conversation in the Mercedes motorhome. ‌ "I miss giving it all out there in the qualifying, being on the limit. I miss the racing as a whole and seeing the starting grid just before the race. It's like, 'Damn, I just want to be out there'. ‌ "But I think it's natural. I think also to me that confirms that I still feel like I've got a good few years of racing in me. And I still love it. I never doubted that I wanted to continue racing, but it just confirms that I still have a big hunger for it. I want to be back on the grid next year, basically. That's the target." Sign up to our free weekly F1 newsletter, Pit Lane Chronicle, by entering your email address below so that every new edition lands straight in your inbox! To that end, Bottas and his team have been assessing their options and one of them is clear and obvious – the newcomers. F1 will have 22 drivers on the grid next year with Cadillac joining as the sport's 11th team and Bottas has been heavily linked with one of the two new seats available. He confirms he has held talks with the American outfit: "The new team joining the sport is also exciting. I think Cadillac, what we've seen so far, looks a really cool and interesting project. As a driver, you can kind of start from scratch. Everything is new, so you can actually make a really big impact and, for me, that's quite interesting. There's been some [discussions]. But they are not in a rush and neither am I, really." Around a dozen drivers are thought to be keen on one of the Cadillac seats, but Bottas isn't one to shy away from competition. He smiled: "My strength is still experience. I've been in three different teams, I've been part of winning five constructors' championships. So I think that's my strength, that I've been in an environment and seen what it actually needs for a team to be winning." ‌ If he doesn't get onto the 2026 grid, he'd rather race elsewhere than stay on the fringes of F1. Bottas said: "F1 is the priority, but then I've got to have a plan B. And one solid option would be IndyCar – I've had some discussions, yeah. I think just over the years in this sport, I've learned you need to have a plan B. Until pen hits the paper here, nothing is confirmed and I saw it last year, how things went. So I'm not doing that mistake again." Bottas has had an F1 career most could only dream of, with five teams' title wins and 10 race victories – only Hamilton, Max Verstappen and Fernando Alonso have better records on the current grid. But if he doesn't get another shot, he admits he won't be satisfied that he has done all he can in the sport. He said: "No, [I'm] never happy. I mean, yes, if I look at the big picture, yes, I've achieved some cool stuff. But there's still this hunger in me that I still want something more. That's why I'm still here."
