Bush was sentenced to 20 years with the first 12 to serve in prison. Morgan was sentenced to 20 years with the first 15 to serve in prison.
Treadaway says that because they are repeat offenders, they will have to serve the full sentence.
Prosecutors say that in August 2023, Bush and Morgan broke into a home on Shoal Creek Road and stole a Smith & Wesson .44 Magnum revolver, Smith & Wesson AR-15 rifle, a Sig Sauer 9mm pistol, ammunition, six watches, a safe containing $8,000 in cash and landscaping equipment.

Investigators say the homeowner had previously given Morgan a job and let him live in the home.
'One of the most shocking elements of this case is that the defendants repaid kindness with the ultimate betrayal, breaking into an acquaintance's home to steal his possessions,' said Deputy Chief Assistant District Attorney Damion Overstreet, of the Gang and Organized Crime Unit, who prosecuted this case on behalf of the State. 'These criminals exploited someone's generosity, then afterwards showed no remorse for their actions.'

Julio César Chávez Jr. deported to Mexico for alleged cartel ties and drug trafficking
'I understand he was deported. I don't know if it was yesterday or this morning, but we were informed that he was arriving in Mexico,' Sheinbaum said. Chávez, 39, had a warrant for his arrest in Mexico for alleged arms and drug trafficking and ties to the Sinaloa cartel. Alejandro Gertz Manero, Mexico's attorney general, said the investigation into Chávez started in 2019. Get Starting Point A guide through the most important stories of the morning, delivered Monday through Friday. Enter Email Sign Up The boxer, who is the son of Mexican boxing great Julio César Chávez, was arrested July 3, days after his high-profile fight with Jake Paul in California. Advertisement Sheinbaum said after the arrest that she hoped the boxer would be deported to face his charges. Chávez's father was a massive celebrity in the 1980s and '90s who mixed social circles with drug dealers and claimed to have been friends with drug lord Amado Carrillo Fuentes. The iconic fighter defended his son following his arrest but has not spoken publicly since the deportation. The younger Chávez has battled drug addiction for much of his boxing career, failing drug tests, serving suspensions and egregiously missing weight while being widely criticized for his intermittent dedication to the sport. Advertisement Chavez won the WBC middleweight title in 2011 and defended it three times. He shared the ring with generational greats Canelo Álvarez and Sergio Martinez, losing to both. In 2012, he was convicted of drunken driving in Los Angeles and sentenced to 13 days in jail. In January 2024, he was arrested on gun charges. Police said he possessed two AR-style ghost rifles. He was later freed on a $50,000 bond and on the condition that he went to a residential drug treatment facility. The case is still pending, with Chávez reporting his progress regularly.

Day 3 of trial for alleged mastermind in Young Dolph murder
Hernandez Govan will be live in the courtroom at 9:30 a.m. in the video box above. MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Hernandez Govan, the man accused of orchestrating the death of rapper Young Dolph, is set to appear in court for day three of his trial Wednesday morning. On Tuesday, Angela Arnold, the girlfriend of Cornelius Smith, was the first witness to take the stand. She told the court that to her knowledge, Smith never had direct contact with Big Jook and that he would communicate with Govan to send and receive messages. She also testified she saw Govan at a carwash hours after Young Dolph's death, when Smith picked up a cellphone from Govan he had left in the white Mercedes used in the murder. Various Memphis Police Investigators were then called to testify in court, along with cell phone records. According to the investigators, they went over calls and text records of Goavn, Smith, and Big Jook in the months leading up to the murder and afterward. They say Smith appeared to have several outgoing calls to Govan. But in cross-examination, Govan's defense attorney explained the reasoning for their communication, saying, Govan supplied Smith with various types of pills, and Johnson talked with him because he was an aspiring rapper. Another investigator who testified said detectives went to the airport to execute a search warrant on Big Jook's phone and asked if they could speak to him, but he refused.
