Rashford, 27, sealed a move to Barcelona on loan with an option to buy this summer, potentially bringing his 10-year stint in the Manchester United team to a permanent end. A video uploaded to TikTok showed Rashford signing autographs for Barcelona fans out of the window of his Range Rover, with Lucia alongside him in the passenger seat. SunSport understands that the Red Devils exile asked Lucia, 26, to help him settle in Spain to allow him to focus on football. She was present for Rashford's unveiling photoshoot at the Camp Nou last month. Rashford and Lucia have been in each other's lives since high school, attending Ashton-on-Mersey School in Manchester together as youngsters. They were in a relationship as Rashford made his stunning debut for Man United in the Europa League against FC Midtjylland in February 2016. The romance hit a rocky patch in 2021 during the Covid pandemic as they split, but only to reconcile the next year. In June 2022, Rashford proposed to Lucia with a £250,000 engagement ring after enjoying a romantic meal at Catch LA in West Hollywood, California. 7 Rashford and Lucia have had an on-again-off-again relationship Credit: Getty 7 The pair got engaged in 2022, but called the engagement off the following year Credit: However, their engagement ended in June 2023 after the England international was seen with a model outside a Miami hotel. At the time, SunSport exclusively revealed that they broke up because the relationship had "run its course". Since then the pair have stayed in touch, while Rashford has been linked to other romantic interests. But it appears they are both back in each other's lives as they spend time together in Barcelona. Rashford has said that his move to Spain has been about rediscovering the happiness in his football. The star, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Aston Villa, opened up on his first switch abroad in an interview with Sport. He said: "I need to be happy to play my best football. For me personally… Football is my life. You know? "It's been my life since I was very, very young. Actually, I don't know anything else. So the bond I have, not only with my career but with sport in general, is huge and I don't expect it to go away. "But yes, it's always good to be happy when you play football. It's the reason I started in this. "You never know for sure, but from the beginning I have felt comfortable. "On the pitch, of course I'll learn more with each game. But the starting point is very good. "The more matches that come, the more I'll learn. Barça is the easiest place to enjoy and learn football." 7 Rashford has joined Barcelona on a season-long loan with an option to buy Credit: Getty

Sad story of the ‘Mario Balotelli of darts' who had run-ins with the law and lost tour card when he couldn't get a visa
Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) IN the years before Luke Littler burst onto the scene, Corey Cadby was the young star tipped to be a future champion. The Australian had the world at his feet after beating legend Phil Taylor at the age of 21 in 2016. The former Manchester City and Liverpool striker was a maverick, capable of going from sheer brilliance to utter madness. Throwing darts at a youth-team player, letting off a firework in his house the day before scoring against Manchester United and being labelled "unmanageable" by Jose Mourinho, Balotelli was never far away from the headlines. Despite winning the Premier League with City and Serie A with Inter Milan, there will always be a feeling that Super Mario never met his potential due to off-field troubles. Nicknamed "The King", he announced himself to fans by beating Taylor and then becoming world youth champion nine years ago. A run to the UK Open final and a win over Rob Cross followed. But run-ins with the law saw him disappear from the darts scene by 2020. BEST ONLINE CASINOS - TOP SITES IN THE UK There were visa problems over him travelling to Europe for major events as Cadby reportedly had a criminal record. An arrest warrant was even put out after he missed a court appearance after an alleged driving offence. Luke Littler defeats Luke Humphries 8-4 to clinch the SkyCity New Zealand Darts Masters title The Darts Draait Door Podcast reflected on his career, with host Damian Vlottes seeing a similarity between him and Balotelli. Vlottes said: "That one has everything but brains. I feel the same about Cadby. Former pro Vincent van der Voort added: "Such a shame. He had everything to become a world-class player. "He had character and wasn't afraid of the big stage. "I really thought he was a very good player. "It's a real shame he ended up sabotaging himself. "He had multiple run-ins with the law and personal troubles in Australia that prevented him from entering England." Cadby once refused to play in a World Series of Darts tournament. Opening up in an old interview last year, he said: 'It is a disgrace, especially when I've been asked to go and represent the PDC. "I did let a lot of people down at the end and I'm totally ashamed of that. 'Each day was so hard and that obviously led to alcohol. I was never one bit happy, I was actually depressed every day. I didn't want to wake up and to be honest, there was thoughts of suicide on my mind.' Cadby made a brief comeback in 2023 and won back his tour card at Q-school. But he never participated in a PDC event and his card was eventually removed. As for Balotelli, he is currently a free agent after recent spells at Turkish side Adana Demirspor and Italian club Genoa.

Emma Raducanu and Carlos Alcaraz partnership 'in doubt' ahead of US Open
Emma Raducanu and Carlos Alcaraz could be forced to pulled out of the star-studded US Open mixed doubles tournament, according to reports. The revamped event at Flushing Meadows is set to get underway on Tuesday with the two tennis superstars one of the teams in the draw. But The Sun reports that Raducanu and Alcaraz's partnership is in 'doubt' ahead of the two-day knockout competition due to a 'logistical headache'. Spanish world No.2 Alcaraz has reached the singles final at the Cincinnati Open and is now 'likely' to have to travel on the same day he andRaducanu play their first match against Jessica Pegula and Jack Draper. It takes two hours to fly between Cincinnati in Ohio – where Alcaraz is currently in action – and New York, where the US Open is taking place. There is still hope that Raducanu and Alcaraz will feature in the US Open mixed doubles, though, which has a massive prize pot of $1m (£739k). Raducanu's team are 'hopeful' Alcaraz will still play after making contact with his camp following the five-time major winner's run to the Cincinnati final. talkSPORT, meanwhile, reports that Alcaraz 'seemingly still plans to play' with British star Raducanu in the US Open mixed doubles. There has long been rumours of a love interest between Raducanu and Alcaraz off the court – but that has never been confirmed by either player. Raducanu and Alcaraz were announced as a doubles pairing for the US Open – the fourth and final Grand Slam tournament of the year – in June. 'She's going to be the boss,' Alcaraz said about the partnership. 'I'm super excited about it. I think it's going to be great. 'It was an amazing idea for the tournament. I know Emma since a really long time ago. 'I have a really good relationship with her. It's going to be interesting. We are both going to enjoy, for sure. I will try to put my doubles skill on it. 'We will try to win. But obviously it's going to be really, really fun.' More Trending Raducanu laughed off rumours of a blossoming romantic relationship with Alcaraz earlier this summer, insisting the two stars are 'just friends'. If Raducanu and Alcaraz do feature in the US Open mixed doubles and battle their way past Pegula and Draper in their opener, the pair could then take on Novak Djokovic and his Serbian compatriot Olga Danilovic. There are only 16 teams taking part – meaning that whoever wins in the first round will progress directly to the quarter-finals. Wimbledon champion and world No.1 Jannik Sinner is also playing in the US Open mixed doubles having teamed up with Katerina Siniakova.
