Adam Levine and wife Behati Prinsloo celebrate 11th wedding anniversary years after his 'sexting' scandal

Daily Mail20-07-2025
Adam Levine and his wife Behati Prinsloo celebrated their 11th wedding anniversary on Saturday with sweet Instagram posts.
The Maroon 5 frontman, 46 - who recently whisked themselves away for a lavish summer trip - tied the knot with the Namibian supermodel, 37, back in 2014 and the pair have since welcomed three children.
It comes nearly three years after the singer's 'sexting' scandal which first came to light in September 2022. Levine notably denied having an affair, but admitted that he had 'crossed the line' amid the controversy.
Behati uploaded an assortment of throwback photos of the pair that have been taken over the years.
She captioned the carousel of images with: 'My person for life!!! 11 years today! @adamlevine deep sea baby….'
In one snap, the two stars could be seen lovingly embracing while another showed them taking a selfie in bed.
The model snapped a picture as they cruised in a car with Adam in the driver's seat - while one photo was taken as Levine gave his wife a kiss as they spent time on the sandy shore of a beach.
Adam and Behati made funny faces as they looked towards the camera in one throwback picture.
She additionally included more snaps of the pair that were taken from photo booths and one showed the two stars holding a drawing while strolling along the streets of New York City.
Lastly, the mom-of-three uploaded a sweet image as she shared a kiss with Levine while enjoying a boat day.
The Payphone hitmaker also jumped to his own Instagram page over the weekend in celebration of the special milestone.
He shared a picture of Prinsloo as she sat outside and wrote in the caption: 'Happy anniversary to my favorite person in the world.'
The model could be seen keeping it casual while sporting a dark green hoodie as well as a cowboy hat on top of her locks. She sipped on a bottle of beer while an adorable dog was propped up on her lap.
Levine and Behati were first introduced by a friend via email in 2012 - where a romance quickly sparked up.
The beauty recalled during an interview with Net-a-Porter in 2019, 'Adam was looking for a girl for a music video that could do some action stuff, and our friend was like, "You should meet Behati because she's a total tomboy and down for anything."'
While Prinsloo ended up not taking the job, her communication with the music artist continued.
In May 2013, it had been reported that the pair had split - but soon rekindled their romance and became engaged two months later.
The singer was also seen that same year cheering on the model as she strutted on the catwalk for the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.
Behati and Adam said 'I do' during a romantic ceremony that took place in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico - with his close pal Jonah Hill officiating the nuptials.
The couple have since welcomed three children together: Dusty Rose, eight, Gio Grace, seven, and another son, two - whose name has yet to be revealed.
When the model was pregnant with their third child, Levine was involved in a 'sexting' scandal in September 2022.
It began when he was accused of having an affair with media personality and model, Sumner Stroh.
She opened up about the alleged infidelity on her own TikTok account in a video that has since been deleted, along with showing messages that she claimed were between her and the singer.
Not long after the clip was shared, Adam denied that he cheated on his wife, but admitted that he had, 'crossed the line.'
The Animals singer shared a message on his own Instagram account where he admitted, 'I used poor judgement in speaking with anyone other than my wife in ANY kind of flirtatious manner.
'I did not have an affair,' he stated, adding, 'Nevertheless, I crossed the line during a regrettable period in my life. In certain instances it became inappropriate.'
Adam later wrote, 'My wife and my family is all I care about in this world. To be this naive and stupid enough to risk the only thing that truly matters to me was the greatest mistake I could ever make.'
A source close close to the couple told E! News at the time that, 'Behati is upset but she does believe him that there was no physical affair.
'They have been together this entire time. She feels they are happily married and is shocked to find out what was going on behind her back.'
The insider continued, 'He's disappointed in himself and upset that he has hurt his family like this. It's a wake-up call and has made him realize that he has a lot to work on.'
The insider continued, 'He's disappointed in himself and upset that he has hurt his family like this. It's a wake-up call and has made him realize that he has a lot to work on'
Following the controversy, Adam and Behati have continued to put on an united front.
They have appeared on each other's media pages and the duo have also walked a number of red carpet events.
Maroon 5 is also preparing to drop its eighth studio album titled Love Is Like - which will be released next month on August 15.
One of the tracks called Priceless was written by Levine for his wife Behati and he opened up about the song during an interview with People in April.
'It was the first song that I wrote for the album. It's just this really fun, summery, chill vibe song that always felt really good.'
He added, 'The song kind of, you know, being about my wife, was the first song out the gates that felt good, felt positive, really positive, and fun. It's hard to explain, but it just instantly hit me.
'I thought, well, if it instantly hit me, obviously it could hit everybody else,' the performer further expressed.
Levine is set to embark on a tour with Maroon 5 later this fall in support of the LP - which was announced on June 25.
The band will make stops in a total of 23 U.S. cities throughout October and November, with the first concert taking place in Phoenix on October 6.
Adam was also one of the coaches for the 27th season of The Voice, which aired the finale back in May.

'Worst show on TV' is ending and its biggest critics are full of regret

And Just Like That… Sex and The City fans will no longer be tormented by its divisive revival. Creator Michael Patrick King has confirmed that And Just Like That, which has regularly been branded 'the worst show on TV',is coming to an end after its third and current season. In a statement shared on Instagram, King wrote: 'And just like that… the ongoing storytelling of the Sex and the City universe is coming to an end. 'While I was writing the last episode of And Just Like That… season 3, it became clear to me that this might be a wonderful place to stop. 'Along with Sarah Jessica Parker, Casey Bloys and Sarah Aubrey, we decided to end the popular series this year with a two-part finale and extended the original series order from 10 episodes to 12. 'SJP and I held off announcing the news until now because we didn't want the word 'final' to overshadow the fun of watching the season. 'It's with great gratitude we thank all the viewers who have let these characters into their homes and their hearts over these many years.' Despite the relentless backlash and calls for it to be over, viewers who have spent three seasons 'hate-watching' are still absolutely crushed. And Just Like That hater Tom Zohar wrote on X: 'PLEASE I DIDN'T MEAN ALL THE THINGS I SAID ABOUT YOU I LOVE YOU PLEASE DON'T LEAVE.' Another fan who loved to hate-watch, Felipe, tweeted: 'conflicted because the show is objectively terrible but i'd still watch 10 seasons of it.' Pop Culture Instagram account Deuxmoi commented: 'See what happens when you complain!!!!!' Others said they 'felt sick' and were 'devastated' but there was also a large sector of the And Just Like That audience who breathed a sigh of relief. Sex and The City was an instant movement when it launched in 1998, making Carrie Bradshaw (Parker), Miranda Hobbes, (Cynthia Nixon), Charlotte Yorke (Kristin Davis) and Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall) four of the most loved women of the decade. Their influence has hardly faltered almost 30 years later. In 2021 the girls were back – well, without Samantha due to Cattrall's fall out with the rest of the cast – in And Just Like That, the reboot so many longed for but never thought would happen. The excitement was unrivalled but soon fizzled out when Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte were criticised for being unrecognisable to the women fans adored and watching Che Diaz (Sara Ramirez) felt like a punishment when we'd all been so patient. The latest series was praised for getting back on track but it also came with bizarre misfires. In one episode, Lisa Todd Wexley's (Nicole Ari Parker) dad died from a stroke. Fans noted that she claimed he'd already died back in season one. Producers did explain the issue, insisting the father mentioned in season one was her stepfather but fans weren't satisfied with the response. Parker shared a series of iconic Carrie moments and said the columnist with the wardrobe worth millions 'dominated my professional heartbeat for 27 years. I think I have loved her most of all.' Davis, who starred as Charlotte for 27 years, wrote: 'I am profoundly sad. I love our whole beautiful cast and crew. 400 artisans working so hard on our show with deep love. 'And to our loyal fans, we love you forever and ever.' And Just Like That is available to stream on NOW. Got a story? The guerilla artist behind Glasgow's hilarious fake street signs reveals why he does it

The anonymous artist has placed spoof signs near Glasgow landmarks to make people smile and notice their surroundings A mysterious artist has been quietly placing spoof street signs across Glasgow, aiming to bring a moment of surprise and humour to those who stumble upon them. ‌ The anonymous creative, who goes by the name @ASignOfHumour, has installed dozens of handmade signs near city landmarks. The sites of some of his more prominent signs include the Barrowland Ballroom, the Finnieston Crane, and the Glasgow Science Centre. ‌ Each sign is intended to make people pause, laugh and take in their surroundings, and maybe even look up from their phones. What began as a light-hearted way to spark joy has become a larger project for the artist. ‌ He revealed to the BBC that his work has been inspired by a growing sense that many people were missing the beauty of Glasgow. 'The main goal is to spark joy,' he said. 'But it really started as a response to a lack of appreciation for Glasgow and its surroundings.' ‌ Though his real identity remains under wraps, the artist admits his children are in on the secret. 'The kids know because I will run designs past them to get their opinions and things, but they're very much under secrecy not to tell people about it,' he said. 'If it's done anonymously then it's about the sign, it kind of adds to the fun.' Made from painted plywood and topped with custom vinyl lettering, the signs are installed using cable ties so they can be easily removed without damage. ‌ Sustainability is a key part of the project, with materials chosen to be recyclable and reusable. Unlike traditional graffiti, the signs are placed in a way that avoids interfering with traffic or cluttering busy areas. Most are found on footpaths, near rivers, in quiet parks, or along cycle routes, where passers-by can take a moment to enjoy them without distraction. ‌ Glasgow has a long-standing reputation for public art and murals, and recently hosted the UK's first major exhibition of Banksy's work. While this new artist admires Banksy, he says his approach is different. 'I love Banksy's work, but this is more about subtle moments of silliness and connection,' he said. ‌ Among the signs already placed around the city, some of the artist's favourites include a Doctor Who-themed design beside a police box, a warning about pterodactyl nesting near the dome-shaped IMAX cinema, and a sign that depicts the OVO Hydro arena as a spaceship. A few have even appeared outside the city, in places such as Largs and Bonnybridge, the latter known as the UK's UFO hotspot. ‌ Some of his creations have gained attention online, with one in particular going viral on Instagram. He said: 'People post photographs of them on their own feeds and I noticed that one of them seems to have gone absolutely viral, so it's got people from all over the world commenting on it,' he said. Despite the guerrilla nature of the installations, he has never run into trouble. He says he would willingly remove any sign if asked. Looking ahead, the artist hopes to take his signs further afield, with plans to visit Edinburgh during the city's August festivals.
