Curtain raiser for JITO Connect 2025 unveiled

The Hyderabad Chapter of Jain International Trade Organisation (JITO) hosted a vibrant and prestigious Curtain Raiser event for JITO Connect 2025, its flagship national summit scheduled to be held from October 3rd to 5th, 2025, at HITEX and HICC, Hyderabad. This power-packed evening witnessed the official launch of key summit verticals and the glamorous unveiling of The Bridal Story, a luxury wedding exhibition curated by the JITO Ladies Wing.
JITO Connect 2025 is projected to be the biggest edition to date, spanning over 8 lakh sq. ft., hosting more than 1,000 business stalls and attracting over 2 lakh visitors. The summit will bring together more than 50,000 changemakers from across India and the globe, including entrepreneurs, policymakers, and innovators. It promises an enriching mix of global speaker sessions, startup showcases, business networking platforms, cultural presentations, and sectoral focus zones such as Artificial Intelligence and innovation-driven enterprises (JIIF and JITEM).
The Curtain Raiser was held in the presence of JITO Apex leadership: Chairman Prithviraj S. Kothari, President Vijay Bhandari, and Secretary General Lalit Kumar Dangi, along with vertical heads, zonal leaders, and chapter representatives from across the country. The event witnessed the formal unveiling of the summit blueprint and opened bookings for stalls and sponsorship opportunities.
One of the highlights of the evening was the launch of Biz-Connect under the JITO Business Network (JBN), the announcement of the JITO Golf Cup, and the introduction of the Jain Pavilion – all designed to foster youth empowerment, innovation, and future-ready leadership.
Adding glamour to the evening was a vibrant fashion show, setting the stage for the official launch of The Bridal Story. Promising to be one of the most extravagant and unique wedding exhibitions, The Bridal Story will travel across cities and countries showcasing opulent bridal fashion. Designers Deepthi Reddy, Wrickie Angrish, Rosy Ahluwalia, and Pallavi Jaipur showcased their creations, offering a taste of the luxurious experience in store.
The event was driven by the spirited JITO Hyderabad team led by Chairman Rohit Kothari, Chief Secretary Lalith Chopra, Treasurer Vishal Anchaliya, Vice Chairman & TNAPTS Zone Convenor B. L. Bhandari, Co-Convenor Sushil Sancheti, and Event Coordinators Ronak Singhi and Ankit Bhutoria.
With its focus on Aarthik Sudradhata (economic empowerment), Shiksha (education), and Seva (service), JITO continues to foster sustainable business practices and community development. JITO Connect 2025 is set to be a landmark event celebrating entrepreneurship, innovation, and collaborative growth on a grand scale.

Ramu, senior Journalist and Journalism educator, who presided over the programme, reflected on the significance of World Public Relations Day, highlighting the need of ethics, truth and transparency in PR practice in the highly polarized world. Dr. K. Yadagiri, Chairman of PRSI Hyderabad Chapter, spoke about PRSI's nationwide footprint and its professional development initiatives aimed at enriching PR knowledge and capabilities across sectors. Smt. Aparna Rajhans, Secretary of PRSI Hyderabad Chapter, appreciated the support extended by NMDC in co-hosting professional development programms, underlining the importance of such partnerships in elevating public relations as a strategic discipline. The celebration saw the presence of several distinguished PR practitioners, Office Bearers, Executive Committee Members National Council Representatives, Patrons and Advisors of the Chapter as well as PR & Journalism faculty and students from leading institutions. In a heartfelt felicitation, the Chapter honoured Dr. S. Ramu for his dedicated service and leadership as Chairman during the previous term. Bhopal, July 14 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav held wide-ranging discussionS in Dubai today with representatives of the Jain International Trade Organization (JITO) on investment and collaborative opportunities. The chief minister shared the government's vision of positioning the state as a leader in global investment, skilling and technology. He invited the JITO community to be a part of the state's industrial growth journey. Yadav stated that Madhya Pradesh has now emerged as the most favourable investment destination in India due to its strong logistics connectivity, political and economic stability, skilled human resources and investor-friendly industrial policies. The government, he added, is not only attracting investors but is also actively assisting at every stage — from land allocation to project implementation, it was officially learnt. Several potential areas of collaboration between Madhya Pradesh and JITO were discussed during the meeting, including the proposal to establish an annual MP-JITO Investment Forum in Dubai. The forum would serve as a global platform to showcase Madhya Pradesh's key projects in logistics, industrial parks, electric vehicles, food processing and semiconductors. The Chief Minister invited JITO representatives to participate in the upcoming investment forum. He highlighted that the state's new Logistics Policy not only incentivises exporters but also includes provisions that benefit infrastructure developers. Yadav invited corporates associated with JITO from the textile and food sectors to participate in greenfield projects in areas such as Ujjain, Mandsaur and Basai. The Chief Minister proposed that Dubai-based skill development institutes collaborate with Madhya Pradesh's Global Skill Park to launch joint training programmes that would supply skilled manpower to industries. He further emphasised that under the One District, One Product initiative, the state is prioritising coordination with JITO entrepreneurs to export agricultural products such as pulses, oilseeds and processed foods to international markets. The meeting also included discussions on future-forward sectors like renewable energy and drones. The Chief Minister invited clean-tech companies associated with JITO to initiate pilot projects in Madhya Pradesh and noted that the state's renewable energy policy actively promotes innovation in these fields. Yadav also highlighted that, following the historic investment proposals received during the recently concluded Global Investors Summit, the government is now moving swiftly toward effective implementation. He stated that investment in Madhya Pradesh is not only an economic opportunity but also a social responsibility, leading to new enterprises, employment and innovation. The meeting was attended by JITO office-bearers, technology experts and prominent entrepreneurs. They assured the Chief Minister of their active participation in skilling, technology incubation and social development projects in Madhya Pradesh. Dubai [UAE], July 14 (ANI): Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav held a meeting with the UAE's Minister of State for Foreign Trade Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi on Monday and discussed the investment opportunities in the state under India-UAE Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) and I2U2 collaboration. Mohan Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh offers a suitable industrial base, policy support and necessry infrastructure for UAE's investment in various sectors like textiles, pharma, smart manufacturing, renewable energy, and food processing. In a post on X, Mohan Yadav stated, 'Today, on the second day of the Dubai visit, I met with the UAE Minister of State for Foreign Trade, H.E. Dr. Thani Bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, and held extensive discussions on the immense investment opportunities in Madhya Pradesh under the India-UAE Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) and I2U2 collaboration.' 'Madhya Pradesh offers a suitable industrial base, policy support, and necessary infrastructure for UAE investments in sectors such as EV, textiles, pharma, smart manufacturing, renewable energy, and food processing. Additionally, there are vast opportunities for partnership in areas like mineral resources, tourism, healthcare, 'plug and play' industrial parks, and air cargo. This multidimensional collaboration based on CEPA and I2U2 will elevate India-UAE relations to new heights and prove significant in realizing the vision of a 'Developed Madhya Pradesh',' he added. CM Yadav is on an official visit to UAE. Earlier in the day, he held a high-level bilateral meeting with Chairman of the JAIN International Trade Organisation (JITO) group, Mukesh Vora, discussing the potential for industrial collaboration and investment in Madhya Pradesh. According to a post on the MP Chief Minister's Office on X, both leaders reached a consensus on establishing the MP-JITO investment platform in Dubai, aimed at deepening ties in advanced manufacturing, logistics, renewable energy, skill development, MSME promotion, and educational exchange. 'Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, during his Dubai visit, held a high-level bilateral meeting with Mr. Mukesh Vora, Chairman of the JITO (Jain International Trade Organisation) group. The meeting extensively discussed the possibilities of investment and industrial cooperation in Madhya Pradesh. During this, consensus was reached on establishing the MP-JITO investment platform in Dubai, encouraging joint ventures in advanced manufacturing, logistics, and renewable energy sectors, as well as strengthening partnerships in the areas of skill development, MSME promotion, and educational exchange,' the CMO stated in the X post. Mohan Yadav met with the Chairman of Emirates Airlines and the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum and the Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations for West Asia and the Indian Ocean at Emirates, Essa Sulaiman Ahmad. During the meeting, the two sides discussed strengthening aviation cooperation between India and the UAE and enhancing aviation ties, with a particular focus on promoting direct flight services from Tier-2 cities like Indore and Bhopal, developing a regional cargo hub in Central India, and exploring opportunities in aviation training and Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) infrastructure. He also held a crucial meeting with the CEO and Director of Grew Energy Private Limited, Vinay Thadani, and his delegation on the 3.0 gigawatt solar cell project in the state's Narmadapuram district, which is expected to create over 700 jobs and position Madhya Pradesh as a leader in the sustainable energy sector. Following the meetings, Yadav highlighted the broader investment dialogue, emphasising the positive responses from Dubai's industrial community regarding investments in air ambulance, civil aviation, and MRO sectors, as well as meaningful suggestions in wellness, healthcare, energy, and services. 'The investment dialogue of Madhya Pradesh in Dubai began this morning with various important meetings and discussions... Detailed discussions were held with the Consul General of India and Embassy officials, focusing on making business abroad smoother and more effective. Considering the potential in areas such as mineral resources, industrial infrastructure, and food processing parks, extensive dialogues took place with various business representatives,' Yadav said. 'One-on-one meetings were held regarding potential investments in air ambulance, civil aviation, and MRO sectors, which received positive responses from Dubai's industrial community. Additionally, meaningful suggestions emerged in the fields of wellness, healthcare, energy, and services. Investors showed keen interest in gold and diamond mining, as well as other mineral-based sectors, which will give a new direction to the state's development,' he added. He is scheduled to travel to Spain after concluding his visit to UAE. The aim of his visit is to bring global investment to Madhya Pradesh, encourage technology sharing, and create new job opportunities under the umbrella of 'Global Dialogue 2025'. (ANI)
