Of this number, 7,479 families or 28,500 individuals were served inside evacuation centers, while 265 ECs and 11,957 families or 40,597 persons were served outside evacuation centers, the NDRRMC said in its situational report. The reported death toll meanwhile, remained at 37, with five already validated and 32 still for validation. Injuries were still numbered 32, with 24 validated and eight still to be validated. "A total of 108,375 damaged houses are reported in Region 1, Region 2, CAR, Region 3, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, Region 5, Region 6, NIR, Region 7, Region 9, Region 10, Region 11, Region 12, CARAGA, BARMM," the NDRRMC said. Meanwhile, the road sections affected were still at 815, and bridges damaged were 43. Damage to agriculture was still at P3,159,733,667.11 representing production loss, and 98,307 farmers and fisherfolk were affected. Infrastructure damage was still pegged at P16,506,257,464.1, with affected regions as follows: Region 1, Region 2, CAR, Region 3, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, Region 5, Region 6, NIR, Region 10, Region 12. —KG, GMA Integrated News

This is equivalent to 2,599,712 families, the NDRRMC said in its situational report. Of this number, 7,524 families or 28,703 persons were served inside 273 evacuation centers, while 12,004 families or 40,729 persons were served outside evacuation centers. The reported death toll due to weather disturbances' combined effects was at 37, with five already validated and 32 still for validation. Injuries numbered 32, with 24 validated and eight still to be validated. Meanwhile, of the eight reported missing, four have already been validated, while four others are still for validation. The NDRRMC also said 815 road sections and 43 bridges were affected. There were 88,492 houses damaged in Region 1, Region 2, CAR, Region 3, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, Region 5, Region 6, NIR, Region 7, Region 9, Region 10, Region 11, Region 12, CARAGA, BARMM. Reported death toll due to Crising, Dante, Emong, Habagat now 40 — NDRRMC
The reported fatalities due to the impact of Tropical Cyclones Crising, Dante, Emong, and the Southwest Monsoon or Habagat have increased to 40, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) said Wednesday. In its 6 a.m. report, the NDRRMC said most of the fatalities were reported in Metro Manila with nine, followed by Calabarzon with eight and Western Visayas with six. Three deaths were reported each in Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Negros Island Region, and Northern Mindanao. Two fatalities were reported in Central Luzon. One death was also reported each in Mimaropa, Davao Region, and Caraga. According to the NDRRMC, only three fatalities have been confirmed so far. The validated deaths were due to drowning and falling debris incidents. The NDRRMC also said 33 people were reported injured and eight were reported missing. A total of 8,641,010 people and 2,379,904 families have been affected by the bad weather in all regions except Eastern Visayas. The region with the most number of affected individuals was Central Luzon with 2,851,050. Floods, landslides, collapsed structures, and tornadoes were reported in the affected areas. Of the total affected population, 86,428 people or 23,142 families were staying in evacuation centers, while 108,160 people or 27,861 families were taking shelter in other places. Damage The extent of damage was reported at P15,464,320,692 for infrastructure, P2,984,143,362 for agriculture, P1,216,247,570 for irrigation systems. A total of 73,059 houses were damaged—64,593 partially and 8,466 totally. Interruptions of power supply, water service, and communication lines were reported in the affected areas. Some airports and seaports also became non-operational leaving many passengers stranded, according to the NDRRMC. Classes in 1,047 areas and work schedules in 934 areas were suspended due to the threat of the bad weather. A state of calamity was declared in 255 cities and municipalities.
