Over two decades after sharing the screen in 13 Going on 30, the actress, 49, recently reunited in front of the cameras with her former costar on the set of The Last Thing He Told Me.
In late March, Greer was photographed hugging Garner, 53, as the two filmed a scene in Paris for the second season of the Apple TV+ thriller, which was adapted from Laura Dave's 2021 hit novel and stars the latter as a woman who forms an unexpected relationship with her stepdaughter while searching for her missing husband.
While reflecting on their reunion, Greer tells PEOPLE, "Well, we probably got in a lot of trouble on set for talking too much and laughing too much and not being focused. There were definitely times where we had to self-separate in order to get through a scene."

"It was really fun. It's really fun to get paid to hang out with people you love," the actress continues, explaining "that is something I feel like I worked a really long time to be able to do and we had a really good time doing it."
On the series, which was renewed for a second season in March 2024, Greer "will recur in an undisclosed role," according to Deadline, which reported in October that she'll be joining Garner as well as returning cast members Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Angourie Rice and David Morse, who will reprise their roles from season 1.
At the time of the renewal, Garner said in a statement, "I'm thrilled to get to tell more of Hannah's story — I couldn't have said yes more quickly to season two! These characters and their story mean so much to me, as I know they do to the many who have championed our show; we're excited to give audiences even more with this next chapter."
"The show's really great and obviously, she is the best," Greer gushes to PEOPLE about Garner. "She actually has superpowers I think."

While details about the second installment have not been disclosed, Greer can be seen in the new sports dramedy, Stick, which is led by Owen Wilson, who plays a washed up pro named Pryce Cahill who finds a second shot with the sport after betting his future on coaching a troubled 17-year-old golf phenom. Greer costars as his cautiously supportive ex-wife, Amber-Linn.
For Greer, it was an opportunity to work with another Wilson brother after previously sharing the screen with Luke in 2016's All We Had and Measure of a Man in 2018.
Reflecting on working with both stars, the actress says her experiences on set with them were "very different," while noting that "also all the jobs were very different and the times of my life were really different."
"But it's funny, I would love to see Luke again. I'm sure I will," Greer says, telling her costar, Owen, "you guys have really different energies to me."

Previously deemed a frontrunner, Bennett has always been positioned as a strong candidate but has just got his feet under the table at BBC Studios, initiating a major restructure in the past few weeks and bringing in several new lieutenants. He is the latest big name to exit the race, following the likes of Banijay UK boss Patrick Holland, Netflix's Anne Mensah and Apple TV+ executive Jay Hunt. In around a week to 10 days' time, Deadline understands the remaining candidates will be whittled down to two, at which point they will be grilled in front of an interview panel of senior BBC executives, likely including Director General Tim Davie. Unscripted supremo Phillips remains the one to beat, with BBC insiders and highly-regarded producers pulling for her to get the job. A Netflix-shaped spanner was thrown in the works earlier this week with a report in UK TV trade Broadcast that said she is being wooed by the streamer. Deadline revealed the exit of Netflix unscripted head Ben Kelly several weeks back. Netflix UK is on quite the tear and the Broadcast article dropped on the day the SVoD poached Channel 4's film and TV drama boss Ollie Madden. McGolpin is no less senior than Phillips but Phillips has the programme-making chops and has been acting up in Moore's place over the past few months. McDonald and Brindley are old friends from BBC commissioning, where they successfully ran the specialist factual and factual entertainment departments respectively for several years. The highly-rated McDonald has been touted as a possible Moore replacement since the contest began. He has handy experience working in the States as Disney-owned Nat Geo's EVP Global Factual & Unscripted and has worked with huge stars including David Attenborough and Idris Elba. He is known, however, to have built a life in America and is happy in his current role. Twofour's Brindley is thought to be one of the other contenders. He has been overseeing a successful period for the ITV Studios-owned indie that has included landing the £20M ($27M) contract to make Destination X for the BBC and NBC, new BBC reality franchise I Kissed a Boy/Girl and a historic third series for Apple TV+ doc The Reluctant Traveler. As with McDonald, Brindley is thought to be happy in his current employ. Notably, Phillips, McDonald and Brindley skew heavily unscripted, leaving the feeling that there could still be a big name from the drama world to emerge. Led by search firms Grace Blue and Ibison, the process is moving quickly, with the BBC appearing keen to have a name in place after Moore left the building last week. It has announced that it will exclusively show live Champions League matches from next season. It will join the likes of Amazon Prime Video and Apple TV+ in streaming live football, while Netflix has also recently moved into live sports broadcasts too, with WWE Raw being available on the platform around the world, and the other WWE shows and events in regions outside the US. Streaming services are increasingly rivalling traditional broadcasters when it comes to bidding for sporting rights. Advertisement That now includes Disney+ as, from October 2025, it will be the new and exclusive home for the UEFA Women's Champion League for the next five years. What matches will be live on Disney+? Disney has signed a deal to show all 75 matches in each season of the Women's Champions League, from 2025/6 to 2029/30. They will be available at no extra cost to Disney+ subscribers. The rights extend to the whole of Europe, so no matter your region you'll be able to follow the action on the streaming platform. ESPN will produce the coverage and commentary will be offered in multiple languages. There will also be pre- and post-match programming to enjoy.
