At Tuesday's city council meeting, the City of Calgary's chief administrative officer told council he makes $410,000 in annual base salary. Council voted unanimously to disclose the CAO's exact salary each year moving forward. Until now, only the CAO's minimum and maximum salary range was publicly available. As the CBC's Acton Clarkin reports, council's discussion has opened the door to further conversations about a "sunshine list" for municipal employees.
