#SHOWBIZ: Lady Gaga spotted at Singapore's iconic hawker centre
SINGAPORE: Despite her superstar status and potential security concerns, Lady Gaga showed no qualms about enjoying a meal at a humble food court with her crew in Singapore.
She was recently seen and captured on video having a meal at Maxwell Food Centre, Singapore's iconic hawker centre near Chinatown.
In one of the videos uploaded on TikTok, the 39-year-old Grammy winner was dressed in an all-black ensemble, including a bodysuit, Prada sunglasses, and platform boots, while sampling the local hawker fare.
Accompanied by her entourage, the group appeared to have ordered multiple cups of Milo Dinosaur, as well as bottles of Tsingtao and Chang beers.
According to netizens, Lady Gaga was seated at table 171, directly in front of the Fortune Popiah stall.
Most fans who were present admired Gaga from a distance, though a few did approach her table and interact with her.
As she and her crew prepared to leave Maxwell Food Centre, a small crowd gathered and cheered for her. She even briefly stopped to sign a fan's copy of her 'Mayhem' album en route to her vehicle.

#SHOWBIZ: Actress Saidah Kamarudin cancels wedding, claims ex has only RM500 in bank account
KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian actress Saidah Kamarudin has revealed the reasons behind her decision to call off her engagement to fellow actor Muhammad Muntazar Ghufran in October last year. The former couple became engaged in May 2024, following a year of dating. In a recent interview, Saidah, 29, cited financial instability as a primary factor in her decision to end the wedding plans. She claimed that Muntazar, 22, had only RM500 in his bank account. "You should be looking for a job or continuing your studies," she lamented. The actress further alleged that following their breakup, Muntazar hacked into her TikTok account and posted fabricated comments under her name in an attempt to damage her reputation. It's understood that Saidah filed a police report at the Setia Alam police station in Shah Alam, Selangor, on May 31. "When Muntazar and I were still together, we shared the passwords to our social media accounts. After we broke up, I changed my passwords and removed all access." Meanwhile, Muntazar has refuted Saidah's claims that he was unable to afford their wedding. The actor explained that he told her he had additional funds invested in unit trusts. "I told Saidah about it, but she told me that's investment savings and not actual money. If it's true that I have only RM500 in savings, how is it possible for me to pay close to RM1,000 monthly for my car while also giving my family around RM1,000?" he argued.

#SHOWBIZ: Jessie J diagnosed with breast cancer, plans surgery after upcoming London festival
LONDON: English pop star Jessie J has revealed she has been diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer and will undergo surgery following her performance at Capital's Summertime Ball in London next weekend. The 37-year-old singer shared the news in an emotional Instagram video on Wednesday, with a caption that read: "I was diagnosed with early breast cancer. Cancer sucks in any form, but I'm holding onto the word 'early.'" Known for her candid humour, the artiste added, "It's a very dramatic way to get a boob job. I'm going to disappear for a bit after Summertime Ball to have my surgery, and I'll come back with massive (expletive) and more music." The Summertime Ball, a major annual music festival, is set to take place at Wembley Stadium on June 15. Jessie stated she felt it was important to speak openly about her diagnosis. "I just wanted to be open and share it. Selfishly, I don't talk about it enough. I'm not processing it because I'm working so hard. "But I know how much sharing in the past has helped me, through love, support, and hearing other people's stories. "I'm an open book. It breaks my heart that so many people are going through something similar or worse; that's the part that kills me." A Grammy-nominated artiste, she is known for her powerhouse vocals and R&B-infused pop hits, including 'Domino' and the chart-topping 2014 collaboration 'Bang Bang' with Nicki Minaj and Ariana Grande. She has released five albums, most recently the 2018 holiday project 'This Christmas Day,' and has been putting out new music in 2025, including singles 'Living My Best Life' and 'No Secrets.' A new album is expected later this year. Jessie is also a mother to her son, Sky Safir Cornish Colman, born in 2023.
