Billlie to wrap up world tour with Seoul concert

Korea Herald30-03-2025

Billlie will host its first standalone concert in Seoul on March 29, agency Mystic Story said on Friday.
The performance will bring a close to the group's first international tour 'Our Flowerld (Belllie've You),' which began in July and spanned 30 cities –- nine in Europe, 14 in the Americas and seven in Asia and Oceania.
Fittingly for the tour, named after the group's first song dedicated to fans, the seven members will pour everything they have accomplished so far -- from music and performances to narratives -- into the show.
Separately, Moon Sua and Siyoon will drop a single as a duo next month, according to a local media report. The two rappers will form a subunit for the first time.

Actor Go Min-si denies school bullying allegations

Go Min-si, a South Korean actor known for her roles in 'Sweet Home' and 'The Frog,' has denied allegations of school bullying that surfaced online Monday. In a statement issued the same day, her agency, Mystic Story, called the claims 'clearly false and groundless.' The agency added that it had retained legal counsel and begun preparing civil and criminal legal action. School bullying is a highly sensitive issue in South Korea, particularly when it involves public figures. Celebrities accused of such misconduct often face reputational damage, with many seeing their careers derailed if the accusations are found to be true. Allegations were posted on the online forum DC Inside under the title, 'We are victims of school bullying by actor Go.' Although the post did not fully identify the individual, mentioning only the actor's surname and age, it accused the person of bullying, verbal abuse and harassment of students with disabilities during middle school. This is not the first time Go has been at the center of controversy related to her past. In March 2021, photos emerged of her drinking alcohol while underage. At the time, she issued a public apology on social media, writing, 'I recognize the wrongdoing of my past actions and deeply regret my behavior.'

Daybreak's Summer Madness is back

Daybreak will hold a two-day concert in Seoul on July 5-6, said agency Mystic Story on Thursday. This year's show, titled 'Blue,' will be the 11th edition of its annual Summer Madness shows, which began in 2013. The 17-year-old band is hosting "Blue" about six months after its 'Semicolon' concert in December last year. After the two-day performance, Daybreak participated in a series of music festivals and teamed up with the band Lucy in March for their joint show, 'The Player Season 1.' The bands collaborated in 2022 when they dropped singles 'The Answer' and 'Oh-eh.' Last month, the Daybreak released a cover of 'Reminiscence,' the 80s hit song from Sanullim, as part of a project celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Korean rock band.
