But the likes of Michael van Gerwen and Nathan Aspinall will not play in the 16-man tournament or the second in New Zealand next weekend.
Neither will Wade - because the 42-year-old took a trip to Disneyland with his wife and family.
He wrote on Facebook: 'Morning all, we have had the best family holiday away at Disneyland Paris.
"Thanks for such a great time!! We all loved it and it was very well needed to spend some quality time with the family. Also got to wear my new bag."
Wade, who showed off his Donald Duck bag, confirmed he turned down an invitation from the PDC for the first time.
He told Dartsnews: "I'd already booked a family holiday.
'As much as I want to go to Australia, I'm going to Disneyland Paris instead. I won't put darts before my family.
'But for the last 20 years, I have put the PDC before James, before my family, and before relatives. I've done enough for them, I think.'
Wade's PDC snub comes after he was accused of being 'disrespectful' following his World Matchplay final defeat to Luke Littler.
The World No.5 lost 18-13 to the teen sensation Littler - who became the youngest champion in the tournament's history.

Wade slipped quietly off the oche following their bout as Littler soaked up the spotlight solo.
Sky Sports pundits Michael Bridge and Chris Murphy took aim at Wade for his actions in Blackpool.
Bridge said: 'I got it clarified that there were no issues with Luke or the crowd or anything like that.
'He was just angry at himself, which is fine, but we would have liked to have heard from him.'
Murphy added: 'I thought it was disrespectful for him not to be on the stage at the end.
'Whether he does an interview or not is up to him, but not to be there when Luke is receiving the trophy, that is disrespectful.
'Just stand there for a minute and applaud, and then say, 'I don't want to talk.' There's a serious side with James of course.
'We know about his mental health and his mental illnesses that he suffers with and that he's trying to combat all the time.
'But I think he maybe needs a little bit of guidance and support with that.
'If he's not up to doing a press conference straight after a match, maybe he should be approaching the PDC and asking about facilitating his press conference when he returns for the next round in a better frame of mind.'

'Liverpool are never going to get Isak for £110m'
There are two sides to every story and we haven't heard from Alexander Isak yet, or anyone inside the Newcastle United striker's camp, other than him saying he wants to explore his don't know when he told the club that, how he told them, or what his feelings are about exactly why he wants out. What we do know is that Liverpool have offered £110m for recent years we have seen Enzo Fernandez, Declan Rice and Jack Grealish go for about £100m so, if that is the bar, they are never going to get Isak - a 25-year-old striker who has scored 44 Premier League goals across the past two seasons - for £110m.I don't think you'd get Dan Burn for that, to be have named their price, which is nearer to £150m, so we will have to see what Liverpool do top and bottom of it is that if Newcastle don't get the money they want, or the two strikers they need, then Isak more from Shearer here

Why Hurzeler prefers behind-closed-doors pre-season
Pre-season has changed over the years as more clubs are travelling around the world to play friendlies on international soil in front of large capacity Brighton's approach this summer is a stark contrast as six of their eight friendlies have been behind closed doors."I use pre-season to build team chemistry and the social bond between them, which is hard to do if you know you are always being observed by the media and supporters," boss Fabian Hurzeler told BBC Radio 5 Live's Monday Night Club."When you have new players coming in, you need to integrate them in a trusting environment. That is what I want to give to my players."There are no secrets behind the things we are doing."I just think you can build the team chemistry better behind closed doors as players can behave more in their natural way if they know there is nothing they get picked up on by the media or others."Watch the full episode on BBC iPlayer or listen on BBC Sounds Find and follow your Premier League team

'I'm really looking forward to finding out how Gyokeres fits in'
Arsenal finally have an out-and-out striker in Viktor Gyokeres and will believe that, after three successive second places, he can get them over the line in a title race. Their top scorer in the Premier League last season was Kai Havertz with nine goals, so that tells you what they have been Gyokeres fits in is one of the things I am really looking forward to finding out in the new campaign, and it is the same with other strikers at new clubs, like Liam Delap and Joao Pedro at Chelsea.I don't think they are finished yet in the transfer market, and their attack is already looking a lot more dangerous than last the full Shearer column here
