Never before, since interleague play began in 1997, had the Dodgers been swept in a six-game season series by the Angels. Plenty of times in recent weeks, however, they've suffered the kind of fate that clinched that distinction Wednesday. Entering the eighth inning at Angel Stadium, the Dodgers were leading by only one run, having once again failed to stretch a narrow lead. And without many trustworthy options in a recently scuffling bullpen, manager Dave Roberts had few cards to play from his deck. In a 6-5 loss that was decided on Logan O'Hoppe's go-ahead two-run single, the Dodgers not only suffered a second series sweep to the Angels this year — but also, for the first time since April 27, fell out of first place in the National League West. Here's how fans in Canada can watch English Premier League soccer this season
The English Premier League's return isn't just celebrated by the English, of course. EPL obsessives far and wide combine to make it the world's most-watched sporting league. The 2025-26 season commences on Friday, when defending champion Liverpool hosts Bournemouth at Anfield. Below is our brief refresher on the Prem's Canadian streaming situation, as well as this year's five midweek matchweeks. Remember, this is only for the EPL itself, rather than other association play. All times below are ET — throw alarms on full volume for those out in British Columbia. The over-the-top live streaming service has been Canada's EPL carrier since the 2022-23 season. All 380 regular-season Premier League matches will stream in Canada via Fubo Sports. The service's sports plan has everything necessary for EPL loyalists, plus other news and entertainment channels. Here is how the plan breaks down: That package also has the Canadian Premier League, Serie A (Italy) and Ligue 1 (France), among other leagues. There's also a premium plan that includes everything in the sports plan, along with select networks like Global TV and the Disney Channel. Its rates range from $45.14 (monthly) to $110.23 (quarterly) to $418.82 (annually). What you'll need to watch: A Fubo subscription, or a carrier with a Fubo sharing agreement like DAZN. There are 33 matchweeks, plus five midweek slates, for a total of 380 matches. That allows all 20 EPL clubs to get one home and one away look at each opponent. Kickoff times are only set through August so far, and starts vary by other European fixtures.
