Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham spark Fleetwood Mac reunion rumors
Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham have sparked reunion rumors with seemingly coordinated Instagram posts.
The musicians famously dated in the late '60s and made the 1973 studio album 'Buckingham Nicks.' Shortly after, Nicks, 77, and Buckingham, 75, joined Fleetwood Mac.

However, the duo famously split while recording the band's 1977 album 'Rumours.'
Both exes stayed in Fleetwood Mac until Buckingham was fired following a behind-the-scenes altercation in 2018.

The pair recently began following each other on Instagram, and on Thursday, Nicks posted a handwritten lyric from 'Frozen Love,' a love song off of 'Buckingham Nicks.'
The image read, 'And if you go forward …'
Shortly after, Buckingham completed the lyric with his own handwritten message that read, 'I'll meet you there.'

Fans flocked to the comments section of both posts, excited about the possibility of something brewing.
One follower wrote, 'What in the silver springs is going on around here!!!!' while a second chimed in, 'no because what is going on in this house.'
'Buckingham nicks in 2025 was not on my bingo card,' a third person added. 'DID WE KISS AND MAKE UP? Oh my god GUYS. WHAT IS HAPPENING?!' another asked.

Rounding out the shocked social media users, someone else noted, 'Fleetwood Mac reunion in 2025?? A girl can dream.'
However, this wouldn't be Buckingham's first reunion with a Fleetwood Mac member in recent months.
In March, the guitarist reunited with Mick Fleetwood. Buckingham sat in on studio sessions with the band's namesake drummer, 78, who is working on a new solo album.
Swedish producer Carl Falk spoke about the reunion on Threads.

'Slightly unreal moment to sit with Lindsey Buckingham and Mick Fleetwood to play Lindsey the album we have been working on,' he wrote. 'And to see his genuine happiness for Mick to finally do his own album and offering to play guitar and to sing on it. Can't wait to finish this one.'
Nicks and Buckingham, meanwhile, first met as high schoolers near Palo Alto, Calif., in the 1960s. Buckingham was a guitarist in his rock band Fritz, and asked Nicks to join as their lead singer.

After leaving Fritz and launching their own band, Buckingham Nicks, the couple moved to Los Angeles. Soon after, they were invited to join Fleetwood Mac.

However, Buckingham and Nicks weren't the only ones in the band with relationship troubles. Around the same time as their late '70s breakup, Fleetwood Mac's John McVie and Christine McVie ended their marriage.
Nicks went on to write 'Dreams,' while Buckingham penned 'Go Your Own Way' on the group's 'Rumours' album.

Over the years, the two have taken jabs at one another in the media.

In 1997, Nicks told Rolling Stone that she 'resented' lyrics Buckingham penned in 'Go Your Own Way,' with lyrics insinuating the singer was 'packing up, shacking up' with different men after their breakup.
'He knew it wasn't true. It was just an angry thing that he said. Every time those words would come onstage, I wanted to go over and kill him,' explained Nicks. 'He knew it, so he really pushed my buttons through that. It was like, 'I'll make you suffer for leaving me.''

Then, when Fleetwood Mac was honored at the 2018 MusiCares benefit gala, an argument ensued that ended with Buckingham being fired from the band.

Buckingham was replaced by Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers guitarist Mike Campbell, as well as Neil Finn.
The former flames allegedly didn't speak again until the celebration of life for McVie. The keyboardist died in 2022 at age 79.

'The only time I've spoken to Lindsey was there, for about three minutes,' Nicks told Rolling Stone in 2024.

'I dealt with Lindsey for as long as I could,' she expressed. 'You could not say that I did not give him more than 300 million chances.'
Nicks also told the outlet she didn't think she should have kicked out Buckingham any sooner than she did.
'No, I think that all just happened the way it should have. It happened one night, not planned, at a MusiCares. I didn't even tell anybody it had happened in my head until the whole ceremony was over,' she added. 'I took with me that night a song that I had done with LeAnn Rimes called 'Borrowed.' I took it with me to play for [Buckingham] because I thought we could do this song beautifully.'
Nicks went on to share that her former bandmate even had a tiff with Harry Styles, whom she performed the Fleetwood Mac hit 'Landslide' with.

Editorial: At a Coldplay concert, a kiss cam catches a cuddle and ruins lives
If only the couple caught canoodling Wednesday night on the Jumbotron at the Coldplay concert in Foxborough, Massachusetts, had simply done what everyone else does in those moments at the arena or the ballpark: Thrown their hands in the air, cheered, hooped and hollered. Then they likely would have escaped attention afterward, and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin would not have said from the stage, 'Oh, look at these two! Either they're having an affair or they're just very shy.' Hungry people would not then have uploaded the image of the couple to TikTok, Twitter and Instagram, and all the other unfettered, unedited sites that traffic in human misery. Internet sleuths with the aid of artificial intelligence and LinkedIn would not have figured out the identity of the couple and quickly discovered that it was (married) Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and Kristin Cabot, the head of that tech company's human resources department. Byron would not have had to write a letter of apology to his colleagues and family, saying, 'You deserve better from me as a partner, a father, and a leader.' Page Six would not have felt the need to investigate Byron's work history and Byron's wife, whose professional life and number of children is now a subject of interest to the Hindustan Times, for God's sake, would not have had to remove the surname Byron from her Facebook page because she was being hounded and doxed. But they did not do that. They did the opposite. Cabot, clearly mortified, turned and hid her face, and Andy Byron sunk out of the frame like the guilty party in a lineup of potential perps. And how did most people react to this horrific, humiliating, unanticipated, life-changing sequence of events for at least three people, not to mention their colleagues and their families? Simple schadenfreude. In essence: Serves them right for going together to that Coldplay concert and cuddling. When did America get this cruel? The Coldplay public humiliation is a cautionary tale of atrophied American privacy. It's also an indictment of the tech-induced loss of human discretion and the warping of common decency by the thirst for an attention-getting and sometimes monetizable post. We're not here to endorse apparent affairs, if that is even what this was, between CEOs and their subordinate heads of HR, managers whose portfolio typically includes offering a channel and recourse for people who face workplace romantic approaches. We don't doubt for a second that somewhere in the tiny print of the digital agreement when Byron and Cabot bought their tickets that they gave up their right to privacy and agreed to the broadcasting of their images in the stadium, and we dutifully note the irony that a couple of Coldplay lovebirds working for a company that 'empowers data teams to bring mission-critical software, analytics, & AI to life' aren't in the best position to lament being turned into a viral sensation. With the help of bots, to boot. (That Hindustan Times story sure looked suspiciously like AI to us.) Our point is that everyone mentioned above is a private citizen (or used to be) and that none of the people casting public scorn actually know even remotely enough about their personal relationships to be in a position to pass judgment. This couple didn't ask to be featured on the big screen and no doubt thought there would be anonymity in the crowd at a rock concert. Reasonably so. Back in the day, most concertgoers would not just have been allergic to sleuthing so as to expose an extramarital affair, but would have been thoroughly appalled even at the notion that anyone should try. Since the 1960s, rock shows have positioned themselves as places to have fun and maybe even put your arm around the wrong person, with their consent. Society has seen them as safety valves. If you can't let yourself go a bit at, say, Lollapalooza or Coachella, American life sure would be a lot less tolerable for most of us. Apparently, that's all in the past. The surveillance state hasn't just come to stand guard over all of our leisure activities, it now is aided and abetted by the publishing and research skills of laptop trolls and voyeurs who we think could do to be more respectful of the old truism, 'there but for the grace of God go I.' Martin seemed to regret his comment after it was too late. He should have kept his mouth shut in the first place. We've never been big fans of stadium cams, an easy way for sports teams and computers to generate exploitable content from their paying customers without compensating them. Some wave and enjoy the fleeting attention. But many of us don't like being thrown up on the screen without a far more explicit mode of consent than the blanket permissions we all sign away just to watch a ballgame and live our lives. Some things are none of our business for good reason. Alas, most people don't seem to learn that until their personal business becomes the raw material for a social media company's profits.

How Prince William Shows Respect to Kate Middleton
As Wimbledon wrapped for another year (congrats Sinner and Świątek!), fans of the Royal Family were treated to a rare sighting of the Prince and Princess of Wales enjoying the day together, along with two of their three children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte. Thanks to the Princess' role as patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, ever since 2016 it is custom for her to present the winners of the Ladies' and Mens' Singles with their trophy prize. Making two appearances this year—one without her family on the 12th of July and one with on the 13th—the royal clan later shared happy photos of their outing on Instagram... which sparked eagle-eyed royal fans to comment on a perceived sweet but subtle gesture that Prince William appeared to make when supporting Catherine at the tournament. Commenting on the Prince falling back and allowing Catherine, George, and Charlotte to walk ahead and greet the Wimbledon crowds, one person remarked (amassing over 1,000 likes in response), 'Love the way Prince William let his family walk ahead of him. Such a beautiful and subtle show of respect.' Another added, 'I love that William knows that she's the show stopper here! 👑. That's respect and love and teaching his kiddos how to treat their Mum!' However, while the gesture might seem super romantic and just plain make sense given that Catherine is a tennis patron, it could actually just be down to royal tradition. Yep, that family has a whole bunch of rules that the rest of us would never even think about when it comes to our own relatives. Typically, because Prince William is next in line to the throne and the most senior royal of the Waleses, it's expected that his wife and children walk a pace or two ahead of him as a mark of respect. When entering an event as a whole family, King Charles is expected to be the last person to enter, given he is the actual monarch, with both Prince William and Queen Camilla in front of him. So there you have it—a mark of respect and a royal rule upheld. We love to see it.

The video, shared by Cole, showed a masked individual attempting to rob him outside his San Diego home, with Troy Ave intervening and firing shots to ward off the attacker. However, police quickly grew suspicious of her story, particularly since no other witnesses saw a toddler on the highway. CeeLo's Cellphone Explodes Near his Head In 2016, a video appearing to show CeeLo Green injured by an exploding cell phone went viral. The black and white, surveillance-style footage showed Green answering a call in a recording studio, then collapsing after the phone seemed to ignite and explode near his face.
