Jalen Ramsey's UCLA training pic has gone viral after weeks of Steelers trade rumors and speculation.
UCLA Football posted several pictures of Ramsey's training session, which sent social media pages into a frenzy. Polymarket Football quickly speculated that the workout could be connected to DK Metcalf, as the Steelers wide receiver had his famous throwing session with Aaron Rodgers there.
Back in April, insider Ian Rapoport reported that the Dolphins and Ramsey had mutually agreed to seek trade options. Over the past several weeks, Ramsey has been connected to both the Rams and Steelers as potential landing spots for the three-time All-Pro corner — while HC Sean McVay claimed "obstacles" may prevent Los Angeles from acquiring him.
Steelers fans should take the now-viral UCLA workout speculation with a grain of salt, as Ramsey's choice of training facility being similar to that of Rodgers and Metcalf is likely coincidence — but it definitely adds more fuel to the rumored Pittsburgh trade narrative this offseason.

Steelers DT Cam Heyward roasts Antonio Brown: 'Let me know when you're back in the states'
Cam Heyward isn't going to tolerate any disrespect coming his way — even if it's from ex-Steelers WR Antonio Brown. On Wednesday, Brown took to social media to refer to Cam "Hayward" as "Magic [Johnson's] son," including pictures some may find offensive — and the veteran defensive tackle didn't take the insult lying down, clapping back at the ex-Steelers wideout: Advertisement "Good thing you can't spell?! Let me know when you back in the states." Heyward is referencing the situation in which Brown is allegedly in the Middle East while the former receiver faces an attempted murder charge in the United States — stemming from his involvement in a violent altercation at Adin Ross' celebrity boxing event, as reported by The Washington Post. Brown has ruffled more than a few feathers on his social media page, but Heyward is definitely the last person's bad side I'd want to be on. Adam Schefter offers bold prediction for T.J. Watt, Steelers extension
Adam Schefter just threw his name in the T.J. Watt contract prediction hat — offering a bold take on the future of the edge rusher market. On Tuesday's episode of ESPN's Unsportsmanlike, Schefter compared Trey Hendrickson and T.J. Watt — arguably the two biggest defenders seeking contracts right now — to the deals of Raiders DE Maxx Crosby and Browns DE Myles Garrett: Advertisement "Hendrickson, Watt, I think they'll be in the Crosby, Garrett range," Schefter said. "Somewhere in there. Micah Parsons, I expect to become the highest-paid defensive player in NFL history. That's the deal that I expect to trump the other deals." Watt signing a deal between Crosby's $35.5 million per year and Garrett's $40 million per year is the bed the Steelers made for themselves after failing to extend him last season on a "hometown discount" — as his brother J.J. Watt so eloquently described it. For up-to-date Steelers coverage, follow us on X @TheSteelersWire and give our Facebook page a like. This article originally appeared on Steelers Wire: Steelers' T.J. Insider Reveals Major Update In T.J. Watt Extension Talks
Insider Reveals Major Update In T.J. Watt Extension Talks originally appeared on Athlon Sports. T.J. Watt and the Pittsburgh Steelers have yet to come to terms on a contract extension. As a result the 2021 NFL Defensive Player of the Year has held out from the team, missing mandatory minicamp last week. Advertisement The good news? It appears both sides are working amicably to make some progress on this front. Watt's value to the Steelers remains unquestioned and the team wants their homegrown defensive star to stay in the Steel City long term. There are a few obstacles to navigate for the Steelers while working through these negotiations. Myles Garrett's record-setting deal earlier in the offseason has adjusted the price point for Watt and other players like Micah Parsons looking for a similar deal. And in that same vein it creates further complication for the Steelers, competing with another team in accomplishing the same goal. ESPN insider Adam Schefter provided some additional clarity on the situation during an appearance on the Pat McAfee Show on Wednesday. Schefter does not believe Watt's deal will match that of Garrett but he will still get his big pay day. "I don't know that he's going to get more than Myles Garrett. I think T.J. Watt's going to get a nice, strong, healthy deal... Advertisement "I can't imagine T.J. Watt wouldn't be there for the start of training camp, that Pittsburgh would not get a deal done... He's seen all the money that's gone around and he wants to make sure he gets rewarded in the appropriate way." Garrett has become the benchmark comparison for the other pass rushers due for extensions this offseason. But as Schefter details the key similarities really end with being star players at the same position. Players like Watt and Parsons will both get significant pay days in the coming weeks or months. However, the age makes a difference. Parsons being four years younger than Garrett and still entering his athletic prime makes him surpassing the Cleveland Browns' star more of a reality. Watt, still worth a hefty price, turns 31 this fall with his peak athletic years likely behind him. Advertisement That does not mean his impact will be felt any less on the field. But it makes for a change in the perspective with regard to these deals. Regardless, it appears Watt and the Steelers are getting on the path toward a deal. Whenever they arrive at their final destination, expect a huge extension for No. 90.
