Kajol's remark about Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad
Kajol appeared in a conversation with Galatta India, where she was asked whether she had encountered negative energies in real life. She stated that she had experienced such incidents multiple times in her life, and one such instance occurred while she was shooting at Ramoji.
The actress did not claim to have seen a ghost but said she felt sleepless the entire night as she was disturbed. 'There are quite a few places like that.
A prime example is Ramoji Rao Studios in Hyderabad, which is considered one of the most haunted places in the world. I am lucky enough not to have seen anything (ghosts), though,' she added.
Many tourists and locals found her statement offensive, accusing her of spreading false allegations about a prominent location in the city.

Directed by Vishal Furia, 'Maa' is set to release in cinemas on June 27.

Kajol Reacts To Her Comparisons With Jaya Bachchan: ‘It's Okay If You Think I'm Scary'
Last Updated: Kajol addressed the buzz around her so-called 'scary' image and comparisons to veteran actress Jaya Bachchan, who is known for her no-nonsense attitude towards the media. Kajol, known for her fierce honesty and powerful screen presence, is currently promoting her upcoming horror-thriller Maa, which explores mythological elements. While she may be gearing up to scare audiences on-screen, it seems some netizens already find her intimidating in real life, thanks to her banters with paparazzi, which frequently go viral online. In a new interview with Zoom, Kajol addressed the buzz around her so-called 'scary" image and comparisons to veteran actress Jaya Bachchan, who is known for her no-nonsense attitude towards the media. Her response? Classic Kajol. 'It's okay if you believe that I'm scary, please go watch Maa," she said, using the chatter to plug her new film with a smile. She also shared how her children react to those videos. 'See, Mama, you're so natural. See, what you are at home is what you are outside," Kajol quoted them saying. The actress laughed at how the public now gets to see the exact side of her that her family witnesses daily. Discussing the pressures of dealing with the paparazzi, Kajol explained that often it's not just about clicking pictures anymore. 'They're waiting for you to say something. They coax you, they push you, till you have to — not scream back at them — but at least say, 'listen guys calm down.' You know, you don't need to yell and scream to get a good picture." The Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge star also reflected on the shift in media behaviour. 'It's not about just clicking a picture or just clicking a video anymore. It's about a reaction that they want because it has a tagline attached to it, or they can attach some sort of a negative tagline." Sitaare Zameen Par Box Office Day 4: Aamir Khan Film Beats Laal Singh Chaddha, Earns Rs 66 Cr
Last Updated: Aamir Khan's Sitaare Zameen Par crosses Rs 66 crore in four days, surpassing Laal Singh Chaddha's India total. Aamir Khan's latest release Sitaare Zameen Par is shining bright at the box office. After its theatrical release last Friday, the film has managed to cross the Rs 66 crore mark in just four days, surpassing the India haul of Aamir's previous film Laal Singh Chaddha (Rs 61.36 crore). The sports drama, which features Aamir as a basketball coach guiding a team of children with special needs, saw a strong weekend driven by positive word-of-mouth and heartfelt storytelling. On Sunday alone, it collected Rs 27.25 crore. However, as per Sacnilk, the film witnessed a drop on Monday, earning only Rs 8.27 crore. Despite the dip, the total India earnings now stand at Rs 66.42 crore. Directed by RS Prasanna and written by Divy Nidhi Sharma, Sitaare Zameen Par features a fresh ensemble cast including Aroush Datta, Gopi Krishna Varma, Samvit Desai, Vedant Sharma, Ayush Bhansali, Ashish Pendse, Rishi Shahani, Rishabh Jain, Naman Mishra, and Simran Mangeshkar. Genelia D'Souza plays Aamir's wife in the film. Aamir's decision to skip an OTT release and focus on bringing audiences back to theatres appears to be working. The film's touching narrative and powerful music by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, with lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya, have further elevated its appeal. Internationally, the film has already collected Rs 95.75 crore within its opening weekend and is poised to cross Rs 100 crore worldwide. It marks a strong comeback for Aamir Khan after the lukewarm response to Laal Singh Chaddha. The industry too has rallied behind Sitaare Zameen Par. Veteran lyricist Javed Akhtar posted on X (formerly Twitter), 'So happy to learn about the record leap that Sitaare Zameen Par has taken at the box office on the second day. Who says good films have no takers in the audience. Congratulations to Aamir Khan and his team." Actors like Ritesh Deshmukh and Mahesh Babu also praised the film for its emotional impact. Co-produced by Aamir Khan, Aparna Purohit, and Ravi Bhagchandka, the film reiterates that powerful stories with heart continue to resonate deeply with Indian audiences.
