Olivia Munn Wedding Details Revealed After Her Shade Towards Jeff Bezos & Lauren Sanchez's $48M Event
Munn made headlines back in April when she criticized Bezos' company, Blue Origin, over their star-studded all-female space flight, which Sánchez led. Now, the Your Friends & Neighbors star is being accused of shading the couple once again amid their highly criticized Venice wedding.

MacKenzie Scott Is Staying Out of Ex Jeff Bezos' Wedding Drama - But Her Comments Section Isn't
On Saturday, the day after Bezos and Sánchez tied the knot, Munn reacted to Mia Farrow's pointed Instagram post praising the Amazon founder's ex-wife, Mackenzie Scott. 'How awesome is MacKenzie Scott! ( jeff Bezos first wife & mother of his 4 children),' Farrow's post read. 'As of mid-December 2024, she had given a total of $19.3 billion to over 1600 charitable organizations.'
44-year-old Munn commented, 'Truly incredible.' Bezos and Sánchez have been criticized for their wedding, which reportedly cost upwards of $48 million, all while Amazon staff continue to speak out about low wages and terrible working conditions.
Now, in the celebrity world, sometimes stars shading at another celeb's way of life can come off a little hypocritical, but it seems like this isn't a case of people in glass houses throwing stones.
Munn married husband John Mulaney, with whom she shares two kids, in July 2024, and we know shockingly little about their low-key affair, especially in comparison to Bezos and Sánchez's event. The couple, who have been together since 2021, got married in a private event held in a friend's New York home. Their son, Malcom, was a witness, and Munn's Newsroom co-star Sam Waterston served as their officiant.
Comparatively, Bezos and Sánchez's wedding, which sparked protests in Venice, was attended by stars like Kim Kardashian, Oprah Winfrey, Leonardo DiCaprio, and many more.
Ahead of the Blue Origin flight, Munn made it clear that she wasn't too fond of the Amazon founder and his now-wife during an appearance on Today with Jenna and Friends, per CNN. 'I know this probably isn't the cool thing to say, but there are so many other things that are so important in the world right now… What are you guys gonna do up in space? What are you doing up there?'
'I know this is probably obnoxious, but, like, it's so much money to go to space, and there's a lot of people who can't even afford eggs,' Munn argued.
'I think it's a bit gluttonous. Space exploration was to further our knowledge and to help mankind. What are they gonna do up there that has made it better for us down here?' Munn also wondered, questioning whether 'all that rocket fuel is good' for the environment.Best of SheKnows

Itasca Rock Garden's castle shows off the beauty of the area's multi-colored stones
The Itasca Rock Garden in Albert Lea is home to a Danish-inspired castle of sorts. "I drive by and see Marion Ross on the corner looking over Fountain Lake, makes me smile," said Stephanie Kibler of the Freeborn County History Center. The bronze statue of the former Happy Days actress sits comfortably in her hometown of Albert Lea. But had it been created in another lifetime, it may have been sculpted out of rock. One hundred years ago a Danish immigrant named John Christensen was trying to farm near the village of Itasca. But he kept hitting rocks with his plow. Instead of getting frustrated, he got creative. "Behind me you'll see the large castle, which he started. It was reminiscent of the castles he grew up with in Denmark," said Kibler. Christensen didn't stop with the castle. Over the years he and his wife also built stone sculptures, bridges, and grottos, like the heart-shaped grotto. "Look at the size of the rock this gentleman carried or moved. I don't have a clue how," said Kibler while pointing out a large rock. The Danish immigrant was in his sixties when he built much of the rock garden, including a home for Irg, the garden's resident gnome. Christensen died in 1939, but there's a sense that he never completely finished what he started. And had he lived longer, the rock garden likely would have expanded even further. But as it goes, the place became neglected and overgrown. And it wasn't until 2019 when the Kohler Foundation got involved, that the garden got a makeover. "We had a landscape company come out and I think she told me they took 15 dump truck loads out of here of weeds, tree growth," said Kibler. Flowers replaced the weeds, thanks to a dozen volunteers including gardener Sue Grunzke. "Over the years I'd go by and look and think, oh, it would be so nice if somebody would fix that all up," said Grunzke. Grunzke got her wish. Her family visited the garden when she was young. Now, she's back with a different purpose. "Each time coming out and seeing it come alive, it's incredible," said Grunzke. The rebirth means the return of visitors from across the state. Rolling stones of a different sort, eager to see how a farmer once built a kingdom out of field rocks. "I hope people come and see what a peaceful, beautiful environment it is. And recognize that the city of Albert Lea is also a very beautiful place," said Kibler. Itasca Rock Garden is named after a pioneer village that once stood on the property. It's free to visit and the garden is located northwest of Albert Lea near Itasca and Bluegrass Roads.

Janelle James Is 'So Salty' She Didn't Get ‘GLOW' Role After She 'Nailed' Audition
Before landing her breakout role on Abbott Elementary, Janelle James had her sights set on another show. The Golden Globe nominee recently revealed she once auditioned for Netflix's GLOW (2017-'19) a role she's still 'so salty' she didn't land, nearly five years after the streamer un-renewed the series for a fourth and final season amid the COVID-19 pandemic. More from Deadline 'GLOW' Canceled By Netflix; Won't Proceed With Fourth & Final Season Due To COVID-19 Alison Brie Opens Up About 'GLOW' Cancellation By Netflix: 'It's The Great Heartbreak Of My Career' Netflix Freshmen 'Pulse' & 'The Residence' Canceled, 'No Good Deed' On Indefinite Pause 'I haven't thought about this in a while,' she prefaced on the Let's Talk Off Camera podcast. 'Another thing I was excited about that I auditioned for once was GLOW. Do you remember that? The female wrestling.' Created by Liz Flahive and Carly Mensch, GLOW (Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling) was inspired by the 1980s syndicated women's wrestling show of the same name, starring Alison Brie, Betty Gilpin and a talented female-led ensemble as struggling actresses who audition for the wrestling show. 'I really wanted that role,' she told host Kelly Ripa. 'It was for one of the female wrestlers and we had to make up an '80s rap and perform it in the audition, and also do a fight scene with ourselves. I did this rap and then I did a round kick. And I remember leaving that audition like, 'Nailed it.' And did not get that role. James added, 'I have not watched one second of that show. I'm so salty. Maybe I'll watch it today.' The comedian is likely not as salty as fans of the show, after Netflix renewed it for a fourth and final season in 2019, filming two episodes before the streamer reversed its renewal, explaining the pandemic made 'shooting this physically intimate show with its large ensemble cast especially challenging.' Intense Rachel McAdams Thriller Hits #8 on Netflix—and You're Not Gonna Wanna Watch This One on an Airplane
I'm always game for a Rachel McAdams movie—especially if it's a thriller. Next in my streaming lineup is her 2005 horror classic Red Eye, which is the latest throwback movie to land in Netflix's top ten streaming list, currently sitting at the eighth spot on the platform. Also starring Cillian Murphy and Brian Cox, the film centers around a hotel manager (McAdams) who meets a charming man (Murphy) at the airport while waiting to fly back home for her grandmother's funeral. At first, she believes their meeting is one of fate, especially after they are seated next to each other on the plane. She soon finds out, however, that the move was a calculated one, as the 'charming' gentleman has a more sinister plot at play that requires her assistance. Directed by Wes Craven, Red Eye was released in August 2005 to positive reviews from fans and critics alike, and twenty years after its debut, it's getting a resurgence in popularity with a flurry of new fans. Holding an 80 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes and a 64 percent on the Popcornmeter, one recent reviewer raves, 'Brilliant and clever claustrophobic suspenseful thriller (just don't watch it if you're on a plane). Wes Craven does really incredible work, creating a different tone of horror and making a suspenseful thriller. Cillian Murphy's performance was outstanding and sinister.' Jon Kopaloff/FilmMagic/Getty Images Another reviewer adds, 'Fantastic cast. The chemistry that leads to the drama between the two main characters is delightful. While there's certainly suspension of belief as events cascade and consequences unroll, I was fully engaged and genuinely enjoyed the experience.' Looks like I've got my next weekend watch lined up.
