I've got a lot of love for Fresh Prince co-stars, says Alfonso Ribeiro
Alfonso Ribeiro still has "a lot of love" for his 'Fresh Prince of Bel Air' co-stars.
The hit TV sitcom is set to celebrate its 35th anniversary later this year, and Alfonso - who played the part of Carlton Banks - has revealed that he's still in touch with some of his former co-stars.
The 53-year-old actor - who starred on 'The Fresh Prince of Bel Air' alongside the likes of Will Smith, Tatyana Ali, Joseph Marcell and Karyn Parsons - told People: "I talk to everyone when I can.
"We're all obviously doing many different things, but there's a lot of love and 35 years is pretty special."
The NBC sitcom ran from 1990 until 1996, and it helped to propel Will - who played a fictionalised version of himself - towards international stardom.
Alfonso played Will's on-screen cousin on the TV show, and the 56-year-old actor previously revealed that they share a special bond.
Will - who became one of the most sought-after stars in Hollywood after leaving 'The Fresh Prince of Bel Air' - said on an episode of 'Black Comedy in America': "Where you meet somebody who understands you in a way that other people don't understand you - and they're able to understand you, then craft things for you to create and shine and explode. And Alfonso was that guy for sure."
Will also remembered being wowed by Alfonso during his audition for the show.
Will shared: "When he came in for the audition, there was like no question, that's the one.
"Nobody commits as hard as Alf. We call it the 'comedic limb.' You know where you gon' try this joke and you gon' go out there with it and you gon' risk it all."
Alfonso subsequently admitted to being amazed by Will's praise.
The actor also described his former 'Fresh Prince' co-star as his "brother for life" and "absolutely the best".
Alfonso said on 'The Jennifer Hudson Show': "It was wonderful to hear him say that.
"Will is my brother for life. And obviously our friendship and bond has now withstood the time of four or five decades. He's absolutely the best."

No further details were given but reports suggest the gigs were cancelled due to structural problems at the venue. A source told PEOPLE: "During a routine pre-show check, structural elements were identified as not being up to standard, so the shows were canceled. All team members are safe." A number of comments posted on Fenway's social media statement suggested there was a problem with the stage roof, but officials have not commented on the suggestion. Both shows were part of the Fenway Concert Series which was due to kick off with Shakira's show on Thursday (29.05.25). The concert series runs until September and also features acts including Hozier, The Lumineers, the Jonas Brothers, Chris Brown, The Who, and My Chemical Romance. Hozier is the next act due to take to the stage at Fenway Park with two gigs scheduled for 23 and 24 June. Shakira had already travelled to Boston before the show was cancelled. She announced her arrival in the city on Wednesday (28.05.25) by sharing a picture of a table full of sweet treats on her Instagram page and writing: "Hello, Boston! What a sweet welcome!" The pop star is due to return to the stage on Saturday (31.05.25) at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C. The 'Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour' kicked off in Brazil in February and the North American leg of the tour started in Charlotte, North Carolina on May 13 . It will include stops in cities such as Miami, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and more before concluding on June 30 in San Francisco, California. The tour will then go to Mexico, the Dominican Republic and Peru.

Robin Thicke and April Love Geary are getting married in Mexico this weekend (31.05.25-01.05.25). The 'Blurred Lines' singer first proposed to the model back in 2018 and he got down on one knee for a second time during a recent trip to Cannes, France and now the happy couple have jetted off to the coastal resort of Cabo San Lucas with their friends and family as their big day finally aproaches. April previously celebrated her bridal shower earlier this month and shared a note to thanks to her friends on Instagram for organising the lavish bash. Dolly Parton's faith helps her cope with Carl Dean's passing
Dolly Parton expects to be reunited with Carl Dean in the afterlife. The 79-year-old music icon lost her husband earlier this year, aged 82, but Dolly's faith has helped her to cope with the heartbreak. She told The Independent: "I am a person of faith, and I truly believe that I'm going to see him again someday. "And I see him every day in my memories and in my heart, and in all the things that we used to do and all the things that we've built together. You just kind of have to learn to kind of make new plans – but that's the hardest part." Dolly has felt lonely since losing her husband. However, she's also relieved that he's "not suffering anymore" after being ill "for quite a while". She shared: "I really feel his presence. I just try to go on, because I know I have to. And he was ill for quite a while, and part of me was at peace that he was at peace and not suffering anymore. But that still doesn't make up for the loss and the loneliness of it." Carl was always "very proud" of the chart-topping country music star. And Dolly is now determined to throw her "energy" into new projects. The 'Jolene' hitmaker said: "When I did lose him, I just thought, well, I'm going to take all of that energy, and I'm just going to put that back into other things, and I'll keep him ever-present in everything that I do."
