And just like that… Ella Stiller is following in her parents' footsteps.
The daughter of Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor appeared on the July 31 episode of 'And Just Like That,' portraying the pregnant girlfriend of Niall Cunningham's Brady Hobbes.
Ella, 23, played Mia, more than 20 years after her paternal grandmother, Anne Meara, played Steve Brady's mother, Mary Brady, on the fifth season of 'Sex and the City.'

During the Season 3 episode 'Better Than Sex,' the son of Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) and Steve (David Eigenberg) surprised his parents with the news that Mia is pregnant. Brady said he's only 'hooked up' with Mia a few times and doesn't even know her last name.
Ella's debut comes 10 years after Meara died in 2015 at the age of 85. She married comedian Jerry Stiller in 1954 before welcoming the 'Zoolander' actor, 59, in 1965.

Meara starred in films such as 'Night at the Museum' and 'Reality Bites.' The actress also appeared on the small screen with roles on 'Murphy Brown' and 'Murder, She Wrote.'

Earlier this year, Taylor, 54, revealed another surprising connection to the 'Sex and the City' universe.
While on Kristin Davis' 'SATC' rewatch podcast, 'Are You a Charlotte?' in March, the actress compared her first date with Ben to that of Carrie's (Sarah Jessica Parker) first night out with Big (Chris Noth).

'Ben and I went on our first date and Ben was Ben Stiller… 'There's Something About Mary' had come out, and it was huge,' Taylor recalled. 'But he was still Ben Stiller, so he attracted attention wherever he went.'
But 25 years and two kids later, the 'Severance' producer is now ready for their children to step into the spotlight.
'Both my kids are actors and not really kids anymore,' he told E! News in November. 'And they're both really good, so it'd be fun to work with them. I have done a couple of little things with them, but I'd love to. It'd be really fun.'

Ben would love nothing more than to be cast in projects from Ella and Quinlin, 20.
'I think eventually they'll probably be directing and producing stuff that I'll be asking them to cast me in,' he continued. 'That's how it goes.'
Meanwhile, last week it was announced that 'And Just Like That…' is set to conclude its run at the end of Season 3.

Showrunner Michael Patrick King insisted the show wasn't canceled but that he felt this was a good spot for the story to end.
'And just like that… the ongoing storytelling of the' Sex And The City' universe is coming to an end,' King, 70, wrote in a statement on X.

'While I was writing the last episode of 'And Just Like That…' season 3, it became clear to me that this might be a wonderful place to stop.'
Parker, 60, took to Instagram to share a heartfelt goodbye to Carrie Bradshaw, whom she has played since 1998.
'Carrie Bradshaw has dominated my professional heartbeat for 27 years. I think I have loved her most of all,' she began. 'She Crossed Streets Avenues Rubicons, so it seemed. She Broke hearts Heels Habits. She Loved Lost Won Tripped Leaped Fell short and into puddles Aged Got wiser.'

'House of the Dragon' season 3 will be 'goddamn huge,' showrunner teases

We're used to Westeros going big, but "House of the Dragon" season 3 will be "massive," per a new production update from series creator Ryan Condal. When the "Game of Thrones" prequel series returns on HBO and HBO Max sometime in 2026, viewers will be thrown in the middle of a massive civil war between two opposing factions inside House Targaryen: Team Black (the contingent that supports Rhaenyra Targaryen as heir to the crown) versus Team Green (those that back her half-brother Aegon II Targaryen's claim to the Iron Throne). With on-location filming officially wrapped in Wales (the production will now move to in-studio sets in the U.K.), Condal gave an anticipated update on season 3 during a July 2025 episode of his podcast "The Stuff Dreams Are Made Of" with co-host David Mandel. "We're right in the middle of production. We've wrapped Wales, we're moving on to some huge things now that we've got going at the studio and then other locations that we're working on, so we've moved into that part of the schedule," Condal shared. "It gets pretty nuts here through July and August. So I will be rushing off to set tomorrow to do the beginning of some insane things that we're doing this month." He continued, "But yeah, we're right in the middle in the thick of it, and it's going great. I mean, the season is just goddamn huge. "Every day I walk around there and look at the things that we're building and the things that we're doing and the number of costumes and extras and all that ... I knew it was bigger than season 2, but I don't think I realized quite how much." Get instant access to breaking news, the hottest reviews, great deals and helpful tips. The new episodes boasting a grander scale shouldn't come as a surprise to "House of the Dragon" fans, what with the impending succession war between Targaryen heirs Aegon and Rhaenyra all but guaranteeing plenty of big battle scenes and expensive CGI dragons. Condal also recently revealed to Josh Horowitz on the Happy Sad Confused podcast that the third season will see an experimental episode that will be more "conceptual" and "character-driven" installment than "HOTD" fans have seen from the HBO fantasy series so far. 'We got to have a little fun this season, and there's a conceptual episode that I'm really excited about that [Sara Hess] wrote, and that's all I'm gonna say about it," Condal revealed. "It isn't in the traditional vernacular of what we have laid out. It's very character-driven, I think it's really great and I'm really excited to see it rendered.' Ditto!
