The picture was taken in Erskine earlier this year (Image: Supplied) Raymond, Oscar's dad, explained how the opportunity came about.
He said: "I have been a huge Oasis fan ever since I can remember. From 1996 onwards I was hooked.
"As I have gotten older, and during the time period when the band had broken up, I have been really into collecting Oasis memorabilia.
"As a result of this obsession, I got to know Brian Cannon, who designed a lot of things for the band at their peak, such as album covers.
"We became good friends after I started going to his shop Mircobot Boutique, down south in Kendal, which sells merchandise from the band and other groups."

Despite his age, Raymond says his son realises something exciting is happening.
He also opened up on the meaning behind Oscar's picture in the programme.
Raymound continued: "Brian knew there would not be any new music on this tour and wanted to design the programme like an album cover, with 20 pages to fill.
"The idea he came up with was to base the pictures in the programme around B-side songs that some fans think should have been singles.
"I jokingly said about getting Oscar involved and amazingly it ended up happening.
"Oasis have a song called Fade Away and the lyrics Brian referred to were 'The dreams we have as children fade away.'
"Oscar was photographed on a football pitch in Erskine, throwing the Definitely Maybe Globe in the air and a flight case with Oasis on it beside him, the idea being he was dreaming of being in the band.
"Noel Gallagher had the final say and he signed it off."
Oscar was "very excited" to appear in the programme (Image: Supplied)
Oasis will play three gigs at Murrayfield next month and Raymond, who will be attending two of the concerts with friends, and family, can't wait to see the programme in person.
He added: "The family are all so proud of Oscar and he was brilliant throughout the shoot.
"I didn't want to see the finished product until it was confirmed Oscar would be in the programme.
"I am really happy with how it turned out and can't wait to buy it at the gigs."

Alan Bergman, Oscar-winning lyricist who helped write 'The Way We Were,' dies at 99
Alan Bergman, the Oscar-winning lyricist who teamed with his wife, Marilyn, for an enduring and loving partnership that produced such old-fashioned hits as 'How Do You Keep the Music Playing?,' 'It Might Be You' and the classic 'The Way We Were,' has died at 99. Bergman died late Thursday at his home in Los Angeles, family spokesperson Ken Sunshine said in a statement Friday. The statement said Bergman had, in recent months, suffered from respiratory issues 'but continued to write songs till the very end.' The Bergmans married in 1958 and remained together until her death, in 2022. With collaborators ranging from Marvin Hamlisch and Quincy Jones to Michel Legrand and Cy Coleman, they were among the most successful and prolific partnerships of their time, providing words and occasional music for hundreds of songs, including movie themes that became as famous as the films themselves. Frank Sinatra, Michael Jackson, Tony Bennett and many other artists performed their material, and Barbra Streisand became a frequent collaborator and close friend.

Police rule out further action over Kneecap's Glastonbury performance
Avon and Somerset Police said it will be taking 'no further action' on the grounds that there is 'insufficient evidence to provide a realistic prospect of conviction for any offence'. The investigation was announced in June after officers reviewed video footage and audio recordings from the sets of Kneecap and punk duo Bob Vylan at the festival. On Friday, the Belfast group posted an screenshot of a redacted email from a senior investigating officer on social media, confirming that 'no further action' would be taken. In the caption of their post, Kneecap said: 'One element of the political policing intimidation attempt is over. 'We played a historic set at Glastonbury. Whole area closed an hour before due to crowds. A celebration of love and solidarity. A sea of good people at the world's most famous festival.' Avon and Somerset Police said: 'An investigation has been carried out into comments about a forthcoming court case made during Kneecap's performance at Glastonbury Festival on Saturday 28 June. 'Detectives sought advice from the Crown Prosecution Service during their enquiries and after that advice, we have made the decision to take no further action on the grounds there is insufficient evidence to provide a realistic prospect of conviction for any offence.' During Bob Vylan's performance, rapper Bobby Vylan chanted 'death, death to the IDF (Israel Defence Forces)', while a member of Kneecap suggested fans 'start a riot' outside his bandmate's upcoming court appearance. Band member Liam Og O hAnnaidh, who performs under the stage name Mo Chara, was charged in May with a terrorism offence relating to displaying a flag in support of Hezbollah at the O2 Forum in Kentish Town, north London, during a gig in November 2024. The group recently performed at Glasgow's O2 Academy, in a gig which sold out in 80 seconds. They were due to perform at TRNSMT festival in Glasgow, but their set was axed after concerns raised by police. Kneecap fans defend Glastonbury performance as BBC say it will not be live-streamed Earlier this week they announced new tour dates to play their 'biggest run of shows ever' across Scotland, Wales and England. Their tour will start in Bournemouth on November 14 before moving on to Liverpool, Newcastle and Glasgow. Kneecap will also perform in London at the previously announced show at OVO Arena Wembley on September 18.
