AXED Doctor Who star Ncuti Gatwa has revealed a huge new job after his BBC show exit.
We previously revealed that the former Sex Education star was given the boot by bosses after just two series.

Ncuti, 32, has left the long-running drama after 'woke' storylines have seen ratings plummet in recent years.
The actor is off after just two series with no replacement likely for the Time Lord's regeneration on May 31.
Now, the actor is quickly moving on as he has just announced his next project on social media.
He will stay in the upcoming satirical black comedy film called The Roses.
The star took to his Instagram stories as he displayed the poster of the Hollywood movie, alongside a simple rose and red heart emoji.
It features a completely star-studded cast of Hollywood A-listers and Oscar winners.
Benedict Cumberbatch, Olivia Colman, and I, Tonya star Allison Janney all have leading roles in the new flick.
While former Saturday Night Live favourites Andy Samberg and Kate McKinnon will also have feature roles.
The news comes after Ncuti backed out of announcing the UK's jury scores in last weekend's Eurovision Song Contest.
He pulled out of his commitments just 48 hours before he was due to appear in front of 160million people.

At the time, the corporation confirmed he would no longer be involved, citing 'unforeseen circumstances' and he was replaced by Sophie Ellis-Bextor.
This was amid controversy among some at Israel's inclusion in the global singing competition and Ncuti stepped aside moments after Israel qualified for the grand final.
A TV insider said: "If the final nail wasn't already in the coffin, it was well and truly hammered in after that.
"Bosses were incredibly disappointed. Ncuti, as the Doctor, is one of the corporation's most high-profile faces.

The memoir-turned-TV-show is a 'coming of age' eight-part series set in Nottingham in the early 2000's which dives into the universal feeling of 'being stuck' as a young person growing up in a small unchanged town. The show follows trans teenager Byron, played by breakout star Ellis Howard, who lives in a suffocating home with an abusive father. Finding solace with a group called The Fallen Divas, he is eventually led into exploitative sex work. Following shocking events, Byron, assigned male at birth, transitions into a woman. RadioTimes reported creator Paris Lee asking: "Who can't identify with that feeling of being stuck when you are younger, trying to figure things out?". The author decided "it was important to show the journey of Byron, owning their sexuality and trying to discover their sexuality whilst figuring out their gender." . Unapologetically, the working-class experience appears integral to Lee's adaption, where she said: "This is a working-class story. This isn't a cosy middle-class drama. There are plenty of those on television, this offers something different". Who is Paris Lees? An accomplished presenter and journalist, Paris Lees, 38, is the author behind the 2021 memoir What It Feels Like for a Girl, now a series adaption on exploring gender identity, sexuality, class and relationships. Widely published, Lees has written for Vogue, Gay Times, PinkNews, Diva, and Vice, to name a few. Notably, the LGBTQ+ activist founded META, Britain's first magazine focused on the trans community, and became the first trans woman to present on BBC Radio 1 and Channel 4, and the first openly transgender panellist on Question Time. Lees - from Hucknall, Nottinghamshire - produced insightful documentaries The Hate Debate and My Transgender Punk Rock Story, exploring trans experience. Who is Ellis Howard? Ellis Howard is a 28-year-old Liverpudlian who plays Byron in What It Feels Like For A Girl. With dreams of his name "to be uttered anywhere near Jodie Comer or Stephen Graham," the actor is on his way up as Lee's lead in BBC's newest and more 'out-there than usual' show. After a five-stage audition, Howard became the perfect choice to present the experience of being working class, queer, and transitioning later in life. Speaking to The Standard, he said: "It doesn't feel like a BBC show. It feels very dangerous in its proposition. It's a valiant cry from a council estate. It's unashamed, and unrelenting. I thought, 'Whoa. I can't believe they're making this. I just have to be involved in any way, shape or form.'" BBC EastEnders star breaks silence on 'upsetting' exit as final scenes filmed
EastEnders star Clair Norris has spoken out for the first time since it was announced that she would be leaving the BBC soap after eight years in the role of Bernie Taylor. EastEnders star Clair Norris has confessed her departure from the show is "upsetting" as she opened up about leaving her role as Bernie Taylor for the first time. She first joined the BBC soap in 2017 and has seen her on-screen family members leave over the years. With her character being axed this summer, her final scenes were filmed in April and will air later this year. At the British Soap Awards in London last week, Clair said: "Obviously it's upsetting. I'd been there for eight years, which is a long time to play a character, and I have absolutely loved being in the show." She acknowledged the experience she gained while working on EastEnders reports the Manchester Evening News, stating: "They gave me the opportunity to learn on the job and also now I am able to take that onto other things that I do." She continued in her conversation with the Sun: "Of course it's sad but at the same time it felt like a natural end, with the Taylors being gone, it kind of felt right. I'm now very excited about the future." Clair felt that the decision to write out her character was inevitable after the rest of the Taylor family left Albert Square. She revealed that she kept some of Bernie's belongings as mementos, including her iconic coat, a Walford Pride t-shirt, and a birthday badge. The specifics of her character's departure are being kept secret and firmly under wraps for now, but Clair hinted that Bernie will once again show off her more mischievous side. Glasgow exhibition showcases untold asylum seekers stories
Curated by Refugee Festival Scotland ambassador Sadia Sikandar, Unwritten Milestones: The Silent Talent Trapped in Limbo, will showcase seven black and white portraits each depicting an untold story of both struggle and resilience. The exhibition takes place in Glasgow's Gallery of Modern Art from June 13 – 15 and will feature Sadia herself as she reflects on her own six-year experience in the asylum system. 'I endured inhumane conditions and trauma during those years. It felt like sacrificing my self-respect and honour,' she explained. READ MORE: BBC issues statement after staff 'held at gunpoint and strip searched ' by IDF Sikandar added: 'My aim with this exhibition is to reflect the individual journeys of asylum seekers and the profound impact of the UK asylum backlog on people's mental health, really capturing the reality of those navigating a system that often leaves them in limbo.' Despite being an award-winning teacher and international artist, Sikandar could not work while awaiting the resolution of her asylum case. Instead, she has devoted herself to volunteering in the arts sector, in universities, and even advocating for asylum seekers' rights at the UK Parliament. Unwritten Milestones aims to expose the continued hardships faced by asylum seekers and reflects on the missed opportunities and unfulfilled dreams of those trapped in the system while also offering them a platform to share their stories. Sadia (below) collaborated with organisations such as Scottish Refugee Council and Together Reaching Higher to find participants whose stories would be featured, witn each of the seven portraits telling a personal story. 'I hope it encourages the audience to think about how they can care for and welcome those who have been ignored. 'While others celebrate milestones, many asylum seekers cannot achieve their goals due to the limitations placed on them so it's also important for me to share my voice to raise awareness: every asylum seeker should have the right to work.' Sadia added that she hopes the exhibition serves not only as a call to action for policy reform but also as a bridge for understanding. She said by facilitating connections among participants and offering them emotional support, she is creating a sense of community and empowerment. 'Many people involved in the project feel seen and heard for the first time,' Sadia said. 'This project gives them confidence, makes them feel less alone, and helps them find new connections.' The festival also marks the 40th anniversary of the Scottish Refugee Council, a national charity which supports thousands of men, women and children every year as they rebuild their lives in Scotland. Sadia is one of six Refugee Festival Scotland ambassadors, a group of spokespeople for the Festival, who share their experience to help build understanding about what it means to be a refugee in Scotland. She is also shortlisted in the Refugee Festival Scotland Media Awards 2025. The exhibition is a milestone in itself for Sadia and the participants – one unwritten, until now. It is one of more than 150 events taking place across Scotland, most of which are free to attend, and involving artists and performers from more than 30 countries. Unwritten Milestones: The Silent Talent Trapped in Limbo will also be available to view at Refuweegee on Saturday 21 June in collaboration with Refuweegee, The Voice Network and Scottish Intercultural Association.
