Kendra Wilkinson, a former Playboy model, recently shared her experiences as one of Hugh Hefner's girlfriends on "The Skinny Confidential".
During the interview, she discussed the realities of life at the Playboy Mansion, her transition to being single, and her journey of self-discovery.
Now a realtor, television personality, model and author, Wilkinson first captured the spotlight on the hit reality show "The Girls Next Door", which showcased life inside the Playboy Mansion.
Wilkinson, who has also successfully starred in her own series "Kendra" and "Kendra On Top", reflected on how her commitment to authenticity has been the cornerstone of her two-decade long career.
"I've always been this party girl, and who says it like it is. I wear my heart on my sleeve as well, which sometimes comes at a cost."
Having been single now for seven years since her divorce from Hank Baskett, Wilkinson candidly spoke about the difficulties of dating: "I've been divorced and single for seven years now. I've explored little things here and there, but I have not been in a relationship.
"It's going to take a lot to be my boyfriend now. I am not settling for whatever. I'm so used to being single ... Now I look at men and freak out thinking about commitment ... I get really nervous about life getting boring."
Wilkinson admitted that while she does struggle with shame and regret, at the time she chose to enter the Playboy Mansion, she was faced with difficult choices in her life.
"I was 18 at the time. It was either I was going to be a stripper or take this one-way ticket to LA and move into the Playboy Mansion ... those were the only two options I had, and I knew myself, I knew I could survive, so I took the trip to LA and never looked back."

Wilkinson expressed gratitude for her time at the Mansion, describing it as a "safe and healthy environment", highlighting that, contrary to public perception, life there was not as scandalous as it seemed.
"It was so amazing, and it was healthy for me, it was happy for me, I was safe, and it's taboo to the world because they don't really know what went on there. In my perspective, it was only one party every few months, and the rest was that we all had sex with Hugh Hefner once a week, and that's the taboo, that we had sex with a 70/80-year-old."
"I had room service 24/7. I could eat whatever I wanted, I could eat healthy, I had chefs making me salad every day. Anything I wanted, I got. The parties were fun, I've been to worse parties outside the mansion than I ever did at the mansion. I couldn't have been happier."
Wilkinson's insights into her life were not limited to her time in the Mansion; she also spoke on how she began preparing for her future.
"I started setting myself up. I started booking my own work, and I hustled my a** of to get my new show, to book appearances around the world. I had issues with the business part of it, but not Hugh. He was a generous, nice person."
Looking ahead, Wilkinson, who has a ten-year-old daughter, says that she has made sure that her daughter will never have to make those hard choices like she did growing up.
"She's 10 and I already told her that she's going to college."

'I'm shaking and teary,': Zenzo Nqobe's tribute to Presley

Seasoned actor Zenzo Ngqobe has penned an emotional and heartfelt tribute to his friend Presley Chweneyagae, as the nation continues to mourn his passing. Presley's death has left a significant void in the South African acting industry, with many expressing their sorrow since the news went public. The Mahikeng-born star, aged 40, passed away on Tuesday, 27 May, after experiencing breathing difficulties. Zenzo and the late Presley first crossed paths in Mahikeng, where their shared passion for the arts began, well before fame found them. They starred together in Tsotsi , showcasing an undeniable on-screen chemistry that reflected the deep friendship they maintained long after the film. In a heartfelt Instagram tribute, Zenzo described Presley as more than a co-star; he was a true brother and friend. 'Pres wasn't just my co-star, he was my soul's twin in this journey. His fire burnt bright, His laughter shook rooms, His spirit lifted us all. Now he rests, but he will never be silent in me. I carry him in every breath, every role, every memory,' he wrote. View this post on Instagram A post shared by @zenzo_ngqobe The former Rhythm City star, heartbroken over his friend's passing, shared his grief, writing: 'When the time is right, when my heart is steady, and my hands stop trembling, I will sit down and write you the tribute you truly deserve. Right now, I am shattered. In disbelief, shaking, teary. Trying to gather pieces of a world that suddenly feels dimmer without your light,' he wrote. In a heartfelt tribute to a bond forged long before fame, the actor reflected on the brotherhood that shaped their journey. 'Before the world knew our names, we knew each other's hearts. When Tsotsi happened, it wasn't just a career milestone — it was a sacred moment. A brotherhood sealed forever on screen, and off it. 'From there, life swept us into Gauteng, and again, we shared more than ambition — we shared space, struggle, hunger, hope. We carried each other through sleepless nights and long auditions, and later, into fatherhood and manhood — each step a testament to growth, grit, and grace,' he shared. He described Presley as a vibrant, passionate, and proud individual whose presence left a lasting impact. He also thanked everyone who supported and celebrated Presley. Nonku Williams bids farewell to 'The Real Housewives of Durban': no reunion, no return, just peace

Nonku Williams has officially bowed out of the "Real Housewives Of Durban" reality TV show. Image: Instagram. Nonku Williams has chosen to "break free" from the "The Real Housewives Of Durban" reality TV show, citing that the series pits women against each other in the pursuit of relentless drama. Williams recently issued an official statement where she outlined various reasons for her decision to exit the franchise and not be a part of the season 5 reunion. "Watching myself on screen, I am confronted with a reality that's hard to accept. The woman I see isn't someone I recognised or respect," wrote the show's OG. Williams continued to share that although she's played a role in shaping the show's narrative, she believes she's also a product of the show's dynamics. "The relentless pursuit of drama, the pitting women against each other, the gossip and the put-downs -it's a toxic cycle that wears me down." She explained that she wants to be a better role model to her children and uphold her responsibility to herself, her faith, her children, and her community. "I want to make a difference, to leave a positive mark on the world. But this show, with its destructive tendencies, isn't the platform for that. I've come to realise that I have a responsibility to myself to prioritise my well-being, to protect my mental health, and to surround myself with positivity. "I have a responsibility to the community to be a force for good, to uplift and inspire others, and to make a positive impact ... I'm choosing to break free from this cycle." She aims to now use her platform to spread love, kindness and positivity. "As I close this chapter, I hope my story can serve as a testament to the power of self-awareness, courage and redemption," she ended. Video Player is loading. As viewers of The Real Housewives of Durban eagerly await the last few episodes and the upcoming reunion, the longest standing contestant Nonku Williams dropped a bombshell on her timeline announcing her decision to leave the show. In a lengthy Instagram post, Nonku said she would not attend the upcoming reunion, citing a toxic environment and its negative effect on her mental health. 'As I take a moment to reflect on my journey with The Real Housewives of Durban, I'm compelled to share my truth with you. After much reflection, I've made the decision not to return to the show and to distance myself from the reunion. It's not an easy choice, but it's one I must make,' she said. 'Watching myself on screen, I'm confronted with a reality that's hard to accept. The woman I see isn't someone I recognise or respect. 'As I look to the future, I'm reminded of my responsibilities — to myself, my children, my faith and the community. I want to make a difference, to leave a positive mark on the world. 'I've come to realise I have a responsibility to myself to prioritise my wellbeing, to protect my mental health and to surround myself with positivity. I have a responsibility to my children to be a good role model, to show them the importance of kindness, empathy and compassion. I have a responsibility to my faith to uphold the values that are important to me, to be a light in the darkness and to spread love and kindness. I have a responsibility to the community to be a force for good, to uplift and inspire others and to make a positive impact.' I'm choosing to be authentic, to be true to myself and to live a life that reflects my values.
