And Sean Goss reckons playing Panathinaikos in the 75,000-seater Olympic Stadium will suit Russell Martin's men down to the ground.
The Greek giants flip between playing in two different grounds, using the much larger one for bigger games such as tonight's Champions League second leg.
The Ibrox men, of course, hold a two-goal lead going into it but there could be fears of letting that slip in a notoriously intimidating environment.
However, Goss feels the venue will actually suit the visitors because it will not be full and is less hostile than their smaller ground with the fans right on top of the players.
'Pana play at two different grounds," he told the Scottish Sun. They play big games in the Olympic Stadium, where Rangers will be. It holds about 75,000.
'But they play a lot of domestic games in the smaller Apostolos Nikolaidis Stadium, which holds 15,000.

'Playing in the big stadium could suit Rangers. It's unlikely to be full, and the big pitch will benefit them.
"The smaller ground is more hostile because the crowd are right on top of you.
'I went to the game when Olympiacos played Rangers last year, and they handled that stadium quite well and got a 1-1 draw."
Based on past experience of coming up against Martin as well as what he has seen from him so far, Goss expects the new manager to be a success.
'I played alongside Russell Martin at Ibrox, and I've faced a few of his teams," he added.
'I like the players he's brought in and he looks like a great fit for Rangers.'

Since its very inception in 1983, the SuperCup NI, under its various titles, has been built on attracting big-name teams to Northern Ireland's north coast. The fact that Rangers, Newcastle United, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur and the famous 1991 Manchester United squad containing David Beckham, Gary Neville, Paul Scholes et al were written in the winner's records within the first decade of the tournament's foundation bears that out clearly.

Rangers' potential Champions League play-off opponents revealed

This is if they beat Viktoria Plzen in the third qualifying round of the Champions League. Victory over the Czech side would place Rangers just one tie away from the league phase of the [[Champions League]]. However, a loss would see them drop into the Europa League group stage. The challenge ahead is acknowledged, with manager Russell Martin vowing a "right go" at the Champions League. He said: "We've got through a really difficult tie over two legs with a win and we've qualified for the Europa League. "And we can attack the Champions League now and have a right go. "I'm incredibly proud of them, the team, the staff, the fans were amazing, so it's a big night for us." Rangers will be unseeded if they triumph over Viktoria Plzen and will find themselves in the league path draw. This means they could come up against either the winners of the Benfica and Nice clash or the victors of the Red Bull Salzburg versus Club Brugge match. These games are scheduled for August 6 and August 12. The identity of their potential opponents will be confirmed alongside the outcome of the Rangers versus Viktoria Plzen tie. The draw on Monday will provide Rangers fans with a clearer picture of which tie to monitor, with the possibility of facing the winners if they too advance.
