
Police attacked eight times and respond to 43 drug incidents during TRNSMT
A total of 19 people were charged during the Glasgow Green event, headlined by 50 Cent, Biffy Clyro and Snow Patrol, for a number of offences including police assault, assault, sexual assault, culpable and reckless behaviour, hate crime and possession of weapons.
An FOI released by Police Scotland has disclosed a breakdown of the 124 incidents which occurred during the weekend of July 11 to 13.
Police were assaulted eight times, with five of the attacks occurring on the opening day of the music festival. Officers also responded to 12 attacks on members of the public.
Over the weekend, 43 drug-related incidents, including misuse of Class A, B and C substances, occurred.
Two sexual assaults were also reported to authorities during the event. On Friday, July 11, one incident involved an individual wearing an item linked to a proscribed terrorist organisation.
Police were called to two incidents of people with weapons, including someone with a bladed article.
On the closing day of the festival, officers responded to two incidents of racially aggravated behaviour.

Body discovered in park amid search for woman missing for two weeks
A body has been found in a park amid a search for a woman missing from Kilmarnock. Michelle Wade was last seen in the North Hamilton Street area around 8.15pm on July 25. Officers said the body of a woman was recovered in the Dean Park area of the town at around 5am on Tuesday. Four men charged after 'vehicle driven into shop twice'
Four men have been charged in connection with allegedly driving a vehicle into an Inverclyde shop front twice. The first incident happened on February 27 and the second incident happened on March 15 at a store on Gourock's Tower Drive. Investigators have since charged four men aged, 33, 31, 29 and 24. The group will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal. Detective Inspector Nicky Beattie said: 'I would like to thank the public for their support and assistance during our investigation.' Man who died on major road near Irvine pictured by police
Abraham Torrance, 70, from Kilmarnock, passed away following a crash on the A71 westbound between the Corsehillmount Roundabout and Warrix Interchange near Irvine. The incident happened shortly after 11am on Thursday, July 31, and involved a grey Kia Ceed and a white DAF HGV. Emergency crews raced to the area; however, sadly, Mr Torrance, the driver of the car, was pronounced dead at the scene. His family has since asked for privacy. Luckily, no one else was injured during the crash.
