TDP MLA Prasad Daggupati has landed in the middle of a controversy after a leaked audio clip went viral, allegedly featuring him hurling abuses at Jr NTR and threatening to block the actor's latest release War 2 from being screened in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh. In the audio, a voice purportedly belonging to Daggupati is heard warning that the film would not run in his constituency. 'It doesn't matter. War 2 will not be released, it won't run, it won't run. I am the MLA here," the speaker can be heard saying when another person tried to reason with him. The remarks sparked outrage among Jr NTR's fans, many of whom took to social media to condemn the alleged statements.
